Glad there's a Waste Management dump in my area (Kennewick near SR-395). I'm sad that there's not one that can't figure out how to direct traffic and create huge delays in service. Depending on the time you swing by this WM dump center you may have a very short wait or a 30-40 min wait. Given that the dump closes by 5pm M-Th, 4pm Fri, and 3pm Sat, and is closed Sundays, there's not exactly a good window of opportunity to drop off your trash unless you take a half day at work or are willing to sit in the congestion on the one weekend day the dump is open. I don't mind them being closed on Sundays at all or even that Saturday has a shorter operating window but at least stay open a little later during the week. To whoever designed the lot and put the weigh station where it is: I hope you weren't paid for that. The placement of the weigh station is extremely poor given the limited space the dump has to work with. Because of the placement the driving areas get congested rather quickly and a lot of confusion hits drivers who aren't familiar with unwritten rules like "zipper method" lines and the fact that sometimes there's two lanes for lining up in and sometimes there's not. The trash service is mostly fine. I was irritated that a garbage crew came through a couple months ago and picked up our trash but didn't make sure it was empty before putting it back on the curb. About 50 used baby diapers got shredded and thrown around the street because the employee handling the bins didn't bother to look and the tip of the bag got torn apart and carried down the street dumping the broken up diapers. It was gross and could have easily been avoided by simply looking to see that they hadn't cleared the garbage bin fully and that there was a bag dragging on the ground. 4 or 5 weeks later, someone came by and cleaned it up... read more

Well folks, it was three weeks of no trash pick up before they finally ventured down a road that had been free of snow for weeks and picked up the garbage. Three weeks of no service in one month, yet they still expect a full month's pay. They aren't the only trash service in town, and maybe they should keep that in mind. read more

This is my second week in a row having a problem with my trash pick up. My neighbor had an entire hay bale and 8 stalks of corn sticking out of his trash can, that was taken, but my trash (which only had 8 couch cushions and two extremely small and light end tables) that stuck up probably just as far, half of it got take the other half was left in the road outside my house broken. My SECOND week in a row calling Kennewick's Waste Management center, and getting told that the problem is me. My SECOND week in a row being told some fine print rule that was NOT made clear to me when I signed on with them. If I had a way to take my own trash to the dump I would, I am so offended and mad with how Waste Management has handled my customer complaints. read more

This has been the worst customer service ever my trash has not been pick up for a week now and there is no snow anymore they tell me that my trash can is not outside and it's been there for a while and then they are trying to charged me for a pick up but still no one has came for the trash. This is unbelievable is anyone else having a problem read more
