When I called KC Wholesale the owner Layne answered and said bring it right in and they would find a way to squeeze us in. Believe me they were busy but took time to help us. They looked at it determined the problem and had to order a part which would arrive the next morning. They offered for us to stay on their property, but we had an RV spot less than a mile away. We brought the RV back the next day and it was fixed within a few hours. They did not even charge us for the couple hours of work they did to determine the problem the day before. We're back on the road and all is well thanks to KC Wholesale! Hopefully you don't need emergency services like we did but if you ever need anything done, this is the place to go!

I paid the $12. inspection fee n I don't know any mechanics here in Missouri so I called around n took it to another repair shop in lees summit who quoted $180. for same work. The way Mike was talking I shouldn't drive this car far as its bad so I drove it home n had it towed to the other shop on Monday n after they inspected it I get a call n learned they didn't need to replace the stabilizer links because there is nothing wrong with them. I had the car reinspected for another $12. and it passed. Because I want to make sure my car is indeed safe I decided n took it to another shop just to make sure n again nothing wrong with the car n both stabilizer links are good. It is a European luxury brand and having the work done at a dealership would have been astronomical, probably as much as the auto was worth undamaged. I went to Charlie's Collision Repair to ask them to consider fixing the damage. Dave Osborne advised me that owners of this brand preferred to have the dealership make repairs. Parts were very expensive and had to be shipped from St. Louis. He was reluctant to even look at the SUV. I showed him pictures and persuaded him to consider making the repairs. Had the SUV towed to the shop and an agreement was reached . The total was at least 40% less than I expected to pay at the dealership. First, .....the bad news. Dave had warned me, "I hope you're not expecting it back anytime soon." The good news was, .....a wrecked SUV was sitting in the repair shop, not my garage or driveway. It was finished exactly when promised,.... "not anytime soon". I was kept informed on progress and problems until repairs were complete. When I picked it up, Dave, the office manager, and the mechanics escorted me to the finished SUV. They were all that proud of the work they had done. And, it looked perfect. The SUV had been cleaned inside and out. I was advised to take it home for a week or so, make a list of anything I was unhappy with, bring it back and they'd fix everything to my satisfaction. It's been seven weeks and it has not been necessary to return. I was very satisfied with the work performed and convinced the cost was very reasonable. What a great group of people!!
