Well, he didn't have the money to send the motor off to get rebuilt so I wrote him a check for five grand, he was supposed to have my hummer done in six weeks. He said around the shop doing it absolutely shit every time I went in there I'll call him ask him how my hummer is looking and she would just give me some personal excuse every time with my sister work in there, she was giving me the scoop on their family drama in excuses why he didn't have medication or whatever it was something. I'd ask her as he worked on my hammer anymore. She get aggravated that I keep asking her because he had another vehicle that he was supposed to replace the motor on this goes on for over a year. He never once called me himself hold on. He did call one time and he told me that oh you're home or will be done next week (This was in July of22' ) then proceeds to ask me if I'd heard from my sister because she didn't show up to work. Needless to say my hummer was not done! In January 2023.I finally get a call from him telling me that my Hummers done. I said OK great I don't have the money right now but I'll get it to you. I'm on my way he said no I'm not giving you your hummer until you give me my money said Steve, you've had my hummer for over a year. My sister works here you can allow me to give you payments he refused not only did he refuse. The original quote was 7800 he said that he had to replace the manifold and this and that and that I owed him 3800, well I said that's bullshit and he said no you told me to fix whatever. I said go ahead and fix whatever but that doesn't mean don't call me or let me know anything but the truth is my sister told me that you guys crack the manifold while you were trying to Take the motor out so that's not on me. Honestly, I don't want to pay him a dime, considering he cost me so much money have in my vehicle for over a year. Well, I don't have 3800 to get my vehicle back and on top of that I husband and I are going through a divorce and technically it's in his name only so I can't really call the cops or fight about it because it's not technically in my name. I mistakenly told him this well he decides that he's going to go ahead and steal it and hide it and tried telling me that my husband sign the title over to him and told him he can have it well that's not true this guy is an absolute crook granted the other vehicle that he was replacing the motor that guy didn't get his vehicle back for over a year either. I've seen him fuck around multiple people when I'm in there with my sister while she's working or her telling me about what a bad day she had because she has to lie to people for him. He screwed around my sister the three years she's worked there. He promised to raise that she never got while she's making shit money, not able to pay her bills and then loaning her money and saying he helps her out. Yeah because you're not paying her enough $12 an hour after three years, what a joke ! On top of that, she has insurance through him and he wasn't even paying it so now she's getting bills and couldn't get her medication because he is pocketing it. So apparently he left his baby mama of 30 years for a friend of theirs who has money and took off and married her so now he's coming in there with her saying things are gonna change and ultimately fired her all because she wanted her damn insurance money back. He's a worthless human being. Do not ever take your vehicle there whatever you do. And no, I still don't have my Hummer back.

Lane Thornhill made the extra effort to look for the MVP premier account we are associated with due to whom we lease with, which dropped our parts price almost another $50 dollars. Lane and Mark were kind, efficient and our knowledgeable tech handled our windshield quickly and safely. All said and done the service was completed long before our next pick up in Independence, MO so we had plenty of time for breakfast and to arrive on time. We were EXTREMELY impressed with their professionalism from the lovely young man from England in parts Friday night, to Dustin in service Friday night to Lane Thornhill, Mark, and our windshield tech on Saturday. Everyone treated us and our two bully dogs with a ton of respect and kindness. Anytime we are in the area and need service we will be back. As a matter of fact, because of their service and the sheer amount of parts they keep in stock and their convenient 24 hour schedule for the majority of the week, we'd deadhead here for service. What I was told would be two day repair for my timing chain turned into a month-long experience with my car sitting in the shop. Communication was inconsistent at times, and I often felt in the dark about what was really happening. The shop initially quoted me around $2,600, then revised it to $4100 and offered a $800 discount. The total ended up at $3,908. During the repair, I was told that my dowel pin had broken in the camshaft, which required additional work. I receive a text message saying my car was ready for pickup. I came paid my balance in full. Less than a hundred feet of leaving out the parking lot my check engine light was back on and problem still existed. Im thankful I caught it in time because it was a Friday and they are closed on weekends. So it would have been my word against there's when it came time with correcting the problem. When I arrived for pickup today, the shop stated they waived an additional $800 fee for a solenoid recalibration/replacement that was directly related to the timing chain work they had just performed. I feel strongly that this should have been included in the original service and not presented as an "extra" charge after I had already paid. To their credit, I really appreciated the friendliness of the two administrative assistants, who went above and beyond to help me. They provided me with a shuttle ride home when I dropped off my car, even paid for me an Uber to pick up the loaner vehicle, and made sure I had a loaner car for the month while mine was being repaired. Those accommodations meant a lot during a very long process. The shop also test drove my car for 40+ minutes before releasing it, and the check engine light has not come back on yet. I appreciate that they ultimately covered the $800 charge, but overall the experience left me questioning trust, timelines, and transparency. If you use this shop, know that while they will work with you and provide support, you'll need to ask a lot of questions, push back on extra fees, and keep good records. The repair seems to be holding for now, but the process was much more difficult and drawn out than it should have been.

The guys looked at my tire and said the nail had not actually gone all the way through, they spent 30 minutes ensuring there wasn't a hole anywhere else and they adjusted my tire pressure for all four of my tires (which they said was out of whack and that's why my sensor went off).
