    Highly recommend!!

First of all, WOW. What a special, fun and hands on experience! My husband and I left loving the process, especially making one another's bands. Stephanie is kind, patient, thoughtful and a GREAT teacher/instructor. Overall, we highly recommend With These Rings!! not only are the workshop, Stephanie GREAT but the sentiment that comes with making the rings is pretty amazing. Not to mention the fantastic location in Port Townsend! Walking distance from the water and plenty of things to do around you. 10/10!! Thank you Stephanie!!!

We had the best experience making our rings, it was an absolute blast and we can not recommend it enough!! I keep taking the rings out to look at them, they came out exactly how we'd imagined and I can't believe we made them ourselves! Stephanie makes the process so fun and is super patient. Plus Port Townsend is beautiful and we had a great rest of our day in town. So so worth it, we will cherish the memory of such a happy day making our rings together!!!

Our finished rings! Stephanie worked with a professional engraver to carve our emblem into the rings, and had a friend photograph them.

I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie and about With These Rings. Two things immediately stood out to us about her: the quality of her work, and her forthrightness. Right on her website, she'll show you the process of ring-making, the prices of the different metals, and what to know about how certain metals like palladium sterling silver will wear over time. She was very prompt and responsive to all of our questions. That forthrightness continued right into the ring-making process itself. Stephanie is a great teacher: she's incredibly patient and kind, and makes good on her promise not to let you mess up, but that doesn't mean she'll take it over for you. She shows you the steps and will help you out if you have trouble, but you really are putting the work into the ring yourself, and more likely than not you'll have fun at the same time. Stephanie also explained the chemical processes behind each step, so it felt like taking the coolest science lab class ever. The time just flew by. We received the finished rings in the mail last week after having them engraved, and they're absolutely perfect. Even if you're on a budget, I can assure you that With These Rings is completely, utterly worth the experience of creating a beautiful and lasting symbol of your union, especially with such a kind and capable teacher. Thank you, Stephanie!

We had a fantastic experience with Stephanie at With These Rings! She was incredibly kind and patient in explaining each step, answered all of our questions, and was a total joy to hang out with for the day. She also volunteered to take photos and document the process for us, which made the whole experience so much more memorable. We started at 10:30, took a lunch break, and finished up a little after 2. We spent a total of about 3 hours making the rings. Worth every penny! 12/10.

The process was a lot of fun

I cannot speak highly enough of Stephanie and With These Rings. The process is not difficult, and she was there every step of the way to make sure it was all going well. It was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. Making our rings was a special experience that we will cherish and talk about for the rest of our lives. I hear she's moving to Port Townsend soon, and I tell you--she's worth the trip! Plus, Port Townsend is a wonderful weekend getaway.

My fiance had a blast making our rings and would recommend it to anyone! Not only was the experience itself fun, but making each other's rings gives them extra special meaning. Stephanie is great at breaking down the steps so that, especially if you're not crafty, you'll be shocked at how beautiful the result is. The studio is awesome, and Port Townsend is a super cute town to spend some time walking around and exploring.

This experience was fun and intimate and we are beyond happy with the rings we made for each other! When we first contacted her, she was very prompt and answered all of our questions. When our workshop had to be postponed due to COVID, she kept us updated every step of the way until we were able to reschedule. During the workshop, Stephanie was also mindful of social distancing and even had face shields for the times she couldn't. Stephanie was thorough in explaining the entire process and we never felt we like we didn't know what we were doing. The process of making our rings from a strip of metal was unbelievable and we couldn't be more happy. The fact that we made each other's bands makes it that much more special to us.

Jewelry, obviously, but our experience ended up being much more rewarding! We struck up a casual conversation with the owners, Tim and Sheryl, and ended up just completely falling in love with them as people. We discussed all sorts of things, from travel, our hometowns, our wedding last year, wedding dresses, Port Townsend, our families, their business(es), and a half dozen other topics, losing track of time, and putting a smile on our faces. Are all people in Port Townsend this friendly and personable? We didn't end up purchasing anything, but my wife and I were both fascinated with the quality of work performed here. We were given a tour of the whole place, including the out-of-sight workshop, and several truths became apparent as a result. Tim is obviously a master goldsmith (30+ years experience!), a fact to which the backlog of work orders shown to us can attest! The work performed here is obviously a labor of love, as well as an expression of creativity, and both husband and wife manage the operation with skill, finesse, personality and efficiency. They are able to set realistic expectations on turnaround time for each order, ensuring that no customer ends up being disappointed, or with a false sense of delivery. Additionally, several handcrafted, unique pieces are on display, in various windowed nooks within the plastered walls on either side. Each piece is a marvel in itself; a piece to be worn proudly and glamorously by its owner or recipient. Although we weren't in the market for jewelry during our visit, we were nevertheless dazzled by the things we saw at Itali Lambertini, but more importantly, we were positively enchanted by its owners; two incredible people whom I wish nothing but success and happiness in all of their endeavors. Although brief, our encounter with Tim and Sherly was less *conversation* and more *connection*, and that sort of thing is worth far more than its weight in gold.

He was watching us almost obsessively the entire time we were there and seemed annoyed when I asked to see something that was in the case. After taking a look, I decided against purchasing the item that I was looking at, as the ring was too small for me. I thanked him for getting it out of the case and he accused me of stealing. It is important to note that he required me to come to the front of the store to try them on, which is understandable. However, he did not ask the white women who wished to look at earrings only mere minutes before me. I calmly explained to him that I had not and emptied my pockets onto the counter and told him he was welcome to look through my small purse. He insisted that I stole one of the rings even after I politely showed him everything inside my purse. No sort of an apology was given and I promptly left, as racist establishments do not deserve my business. I would highly recommend to avoid this place if you are a minority, unless you want to be accused of stealing!

Saying I was happy with the option to use a clasp as opposed to a weld shows the lack of awareness. I was not thrilled but had promised my 8 year old and drove 30 min for the appointment so felt stuck. Very quickly after I initially contacted you with concerns, my daughter's bracelet fell off and was unfortunately lost. You offered to re-weld mine but about a week later prior to being able to even consider making arrangements to come back for a re-weld mine also fell off and I've been unable to locate it. The reason for this review now is because Yelp suggested your establishment, and yes I would still be bothered when I spent $100 on now missing jewelry shortly after purchase. I've since had a new one placed on myself without ANY issues. It's welded very strongly. And I got my daughter a bracelet with a clasp that is age appropriate and it's remained on through school, sports and normal 8 year old activities without issue. Sorry to upset you with factual details of your products and services. Your clasp was obviously subpar as was your welding skills. Why would I come back to have you weld it again when your welding abilities didn't last even a month? I suggest kindly touching grass. Original review: Got a "permanent" bracelet that fell off within the month. Should have just ordered a bracelet elsewhere. They clearly don't know how to weld correctly. Their customer service needs work as well.

And I wear it regularly and really enjoy it and enjoy the memory of where it came from.
