We ended up waiting an hour for our burritos, which we didn't mind at first because we were catching up in conversation, and I even walked to the register for water a few times during the wait. After an hour, I checked on our order. The person at the register kindly offered a refund since it had been so long, which I didn't ask for but greatly appreciated. However, when the food was brought out a few minutes later, the mood shifted. The staff member made a very condescending comment, saying, "We were calling your name for minutes and you weren't here. Are you sure you were here the whole time?" We politely told them we had been at the table the entire time, but the interaction left a sour taste in our mouths. I wasn't even upset about the wait, but being gaslit and accused of "disappearing" was uncalled for. Don't worry, we won't be back; the unwelcoming message was definitely received. If you eat here, make sure to hover in the ordering area so you don't get blamed for their delays.

But when I do make it in, it's always worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly - just genuinely kind, welcoming people who make your morning better. The coffee is amazing, and my son is obsessed with their breakfast burritos. They're technically like half a burrito, but somehow packed full. I don't know how they do it, but it's one of his favorite morning stops before school. The vibe is one of my favorite things about this place. It's quiet, quaint, and just feels good to be in. If you ever need a spot to get out of the house and work for a bit, this is a great option. I've also seen small groups and Bible studies meeting here, which just adds to that community feel. It's a local gem here in Justin, and I absolutely love supporting businesses like this. Highly recommend.

Thought I found a top notch coffee spot in Justin until:…read more My wife and I always order our espresso beverages with half and half (breve), and are very accustomed to the flavor profile. We have had exceptional White Mochas, and Cappuccinos at Higher grounds, until recently. Something about the flavor of our drink was off, and reminded me of the flavor of (great value brand half and half), which is disgustingly gross, and cannot stand that stuff, as it makes me want to toss my cookies. The next time I ordered, I paid attention to the process, and sure enough, and to my unbelief, out came (great value brand half and half). I informed the barista, that I am not able to drink that, and I had to switch to something else, because I can't stomach that nasty half an half. I hope they discontinue this practice or I'll have to find another coffee place. To continue producing a quality product, you must use quality ingredients. To cut corners and use substandard ingredients, may save the owner a few bucks, but will cost them more in the long run, by losing customers.

The comfy leather sofas make it the perfect place to settle in and enjoy your drink, whether it's a latte, matcha, or tea. They have a fun summer menu with unique seasonal creations alongside all the classic favorites. But what I loved most was the space itself. It's inviting, calm, and beautifully designed. The neutral tones paired with the greenery make you feel like you've stepped into a peaceful little oasis inspired by nature. Here's a version that flows with the rest of your review while keeping your style: Coffee was served in a real glass, which is always a nice touch, and had the perfect balance of flavor, creaminess, and coffee. After chatting with the friendly barista while ordering, I decided on the Raspberry Danish latte, and it did not disappoint. It was sweet without being overpowering, and the raspberry and pastry flavors came through so well. Already adding this to my "visit again" list of Texas favorites. Can't wait to stop back the next time I'm in town.

I stopped by this afternoon and ordered several food items, a coffee, and one of their amazing candles. At the drive-thru, they handed me my food and let me know they'd bring the candle out separately. When I got home, I realized they had accidentally given me two candles, one was tucked inside my food bag and another had been brought out separately. I called to let them know because I wanted to pay for the extra candle (I absolutely love their candles and wanted to keep it!). The sweet lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and told me not to worry about it, they wanted me to enjoy the second candle on them. That level of customer service is so rare these days. Everyone was friendly, appreciative, and genuinely cared about making the experience a great one. Between the delicious food, fantastic coffee, and outstanding customer service, Marty B's continues to be one of my favorite places. And if you haven't tried their candles yet, you're missing out! I picked up their new Cherry Almond Buttercream scent, and it smells absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

I also liked the setup of the area with Marty's To-Go and Marty's Ice Cream right next door, it makes it feel like there's a lot going on around you. The coffee shop itself also has a bar, food options, and plenty of outdoor seating. The outdoor space with the fireplace looked so cozy, and I can already imagine how nice it would be there in winter with hot chocolate. I was already full, so I only stopped in for coffee this time, but definitely want to come back and try more. I got the iced lavender oat latte and really liked it. It was creamy, not too sweet, and the lavender flavor was subtle but still came through nicely. Really balanced and easy to drink. I also tried an off-menu salted caramel mocha, and that one was a miss for me. It was way too sweet, didn't really taste like salted caramel mocha, and wasn't creamy at all. It honestly gave me a headache after. Overall, 5 stars for the space, 3 for the lavender oat latte, and 0 for the salted caramel mocha.
