Nice little boutique shop geared for the ladies. After the Yelp Winter Staycation weekend my gal and I hung around town for a bit to check out the stores. As many of the places were offering us discounts she wanted to pick up a few things in here for upcoming birthday gifts. Really nothing in here for us dudes, but for the gals there is clothing, jewelry, bags, accessories, and assorted trinkets. Super nice owner/manager who helped us out. Not the cheapest place but not too horrible considering its in this pricey Pier Village area of Long Branch. Many items are made by local artisans and designers, kind of Etsy-like, and some are even made so part of the profits go to charity. read more

The Wish boutique was another stop on the staycation train. Located in Pier Village, Wish is one of the clothing stores off the Boardwalk. I had a very pleasant experience here and the manager/owner was very helpful and nice. She also, substantially lowered the price for me on a pair of gloves that had a hole in the finger. The store was having a phenomenal sale on winter items- most were only $10 and up- and we were in the middle of winter. I love a bargain and found a few great pieces in the winter sale selection. Without the sale, I'd say that these hippie-chic garments are a tad overpriced. That doesn't make them any less adorable. The store carries pants, dresses, accessories, jewelry and probably other items I didn't take the time to browse. I got a soft crocheted sweater (originally $128) for $30, an infinity scarf, headband and gloves + fingerlings for a total of $62 a.k.a. less than half the price of my sale sweater. Deal! Overall, I had a great time shopping the sale here. read more

I love this store. I was on a short "Me Vacay" and I walked to the WISH boutique. It's open, full of style and an elegant feel. Bought a couple of beautiful items. The sales assistant was very attentive and helpful and set up a changing room with all my handpicked item. And I thought! Wow, how did the owner find such attentive help? I was visiting Long Branch from Long Island and I needed a dress for a wedding in Asbury the following day, I found the perfect jumpsuit I never would have thought I could pull off, but with Trish the owners help, I dared to be different, and got complimented all night at the wedding. I bought a shirt off the "sale rack" yesterday. I didn't feel like trying it on in the store. When I took it back to my hotel room and put it on to wear to dinner, I realized the shirt was completely torn and unwearable. I brought it back this morning to either get a refund or exchange it for something else. The manager wasn't there and I was told by the pretty young brunette to come back in an hour when the manager was there. Went back an hour later to speak with the manager who was beyond rude and cut me off mid-sentence to tell me absolutely not. Terrible customer service on her part. Fist visited this boutique a year ago & loved it! From the incredibly helpful staff to the gorgeous merchandise you won't see anywhere else I was hooked. They have everything you would need & I mean everything...exquisite jewelry, detailed dresses, beach cover-ups & even lingerie! There is no reason to go anywhere else! But the thing I love most is how terrific the staff was. They don't ignore you & work with you from start to finish. Suggesting other pieces, honest opinions about outfits...they knew I liked an item & even called me when they received something similar. This is a a rare find these days.
