The Wish boutique was another stop on the staycation train. Located in Pier Village, Wish is one of the clothing stores off the Boardwalk. I had a very pleasant experience here and the manager/owner was very helpful and nice. She also, substantially lowered the price for me on a pair of gloves that had a hole in the finger. The store was having a phenomenal sale on winter items- most were only $10 and up- and we were in the middle of winter. I love a bargain and found a few great pieces in the winter sale selection. Without the sale, I'd say that these hippie-chic garments are a tad overpriced. That doesn't make them any less adorable. The store carries pants, dresses, accessories, jewelry and probably other items I didn't take the time to browse. I got a soft crocheted sweater (originally $128) for $30, an infinity scarf, headband and gloves + fingerlings for a total of $62 a.k.a. less than half the price of my sale sweater. Deal! Overall, I had a great time shopping the sale here.

My favorite place to go when I visit this part of the shore! They have their regular store, and a…read morefew stores down is their clearance and off season stuff that I enjoy rummaging through. Fabrics are sturdy and I've owned some pieces for several years that still look amazing! The ladies here are always helpful and will spend the time with your for fitting, customers service issues, or just helping with a particular style and finding sizes. Also I would check out their IG page which posts pretty regularly on the newest items that come in and are modeled straight away. Parking is a real bummer, especially on a weekend. Residents get the majority of the spaces, making it hard to find the metered parking spots. Heads up for those who need handicapped parking- they park for free next to the metered spaces. Very trendy and hip place. Love it!

Apparently their policy is when you pick up a "boardwalk sale" item and request to try it on, you're directed to try it on outside in front of people walking or sitting outside (which include men). I was extremely uncomfortable with being told to change in front of complete strangers outside of the store. This seems to be very odd and I'm not sure that's sanitary nor is it moral. I ended up putting all of the items back and leaving. I am absolutely mind blown that that's how they conduct business. Imagine your young daughter shopping here and told to try stuff on outside the store because it's a "boardwalk sale" item when there are clearly fitting rooms inside. WILD. Somebody needs to address this.
