As regular readers of my reviews will know, I have been searching for the perfect wallet. For me,…read morethis means it will hold my checkbook, pen, credit and other cards and money. I started looking in Florida and continued locally in Berkeley, at Sven and Libaire. None of them had everything I wanted. I decided to go online and found Anuschka wallets on eBags. Not only did they have a full line of wallets that had every component, but the exteriors were hand painted in a variety of designs. I'd never had a painted wallet before, always opting for simple designs in neutral colors. I really liked the designs and chose one. Alan has an eBags account and ordered it for me. It arrived today and it is beautiful! It holds all my credit cards and most of my museum membership and other assorted cards. I put everything in it and it fits and looks beautiful. I have to stretch out the pen holder so it will hold my fountain pen, which has a thick barrel, but that will happen w/ time. I keep taking it out of my new Sven purse to admire it. Anuschka leather goods are created by the artisans of the Basu Group, Inc, a family owned business since 1988. The mother, Roma, and the son, Bhaskar, create the designs, which are myriad. I am beyond thrilled.

I was looking for a specific color of a Howler Brother's shirt I currently own but needed it in a smaller size. I cut some weight and wanted to get this shirt in my size because well, it's awesome - gives off some southwest vibes. Anyway, HBs was sold out so I searched online. I pulled the color off the HBs site and headed to Google and not before long, Endless Waves appeared at the top of the search. Funny thing, I was expecting to have this shipped because I didn't think I would be able to find this locally. The next day, I return to the page to do more research before I buy online and low and behold, they're 30 mins away in one of the greatest - if not the best, beach town in the USA, Asbury Park. I jump in my car, get on Rt. 1 and then take 18 S down - it was just another good excuse to drive down to the shore. Endless Waves carries a variety of great lifestyle brands for both men and women - they even have a section for pets (I saw a sweater on the way out I think my mom would like for her dog). Everything you need to update your wardrobe from jackets, hats, casual sneakers, pants, shirts - EW has you covered. I not only ended up getting that shirt in my size, I ended up buying a nice jacket with a waterproof outer shell and although it was thin, the tech definitely keeps you warm. Moderately priced and quality threads. I got a nice deal too - everything, or mostly everything, is on sale up until the holidays. If you're on Cookman, check this place out and support small business! I'll definitely be back.

I had a wedding to attend this past Saturday 8/15/15 at 7PM in NJ, and I did not feel comfortable in anything in my closet. I rushed to Valentine Rose after a friend's recommendation that afternoon. They helped me select a few dresses to try within my budget, and I purchased a black/blue lace cocktail dress for $80.00. Amazing quality, machine washable, fit like a glove, and I received plenty of compliments that night. I was in and out withing 30 mins. Needless to say I will return this week to shop for a dress for my bridal shower. Happy shopping..

I do not recommend shopping at this store. I recently made a purchase here and was extremely…read moredissatisfied with the product, and especially the service I received. Instead of offering to order me a size that fit me properly, I was persuaded to purchase a size up that did not fit correctly and was recommended to get it altered, which I now regret. I was told by the sales representative that I would receive store credit if I decided to bring the item back. This was one of the main reasons I decided to purchase the item. Unfortunately the tailor was not able to adjust the item to fit my size. When I brought the item back to the store with the tags and receipt, the owner immediately accused me of wearing the item and deceitfully reattaching the tags. The store owner continued to berate me and spoke to me in an extremely condescending manner, then told me that I was not "thinking logically" in my attempt to return an item that did not fit me. She insisted that I was not taking into consideration how her business was going to be impacted if she were to let me give back the item and provide me with store credit, which should be of no concern to the customer rightfully returning a purchased item. The most hurtful part of this incident occurred when the store owner spewed lies at me: she stated that there are signs all over the store explaining that items cannot be brought back after 2 weeks. However, when I requested that she point to one of these signs, she was unable to, as they did not exist. The store owner's actions made it exceptionally clear to me that her only concern is running a business, that she has no consideration for her customers, and no care for their satisfaction with her products. The owner gave me no rational reason why she couldn't take back the item, she did not offer store credit, or even a kind word. I enjoy shopping but I would never go back here after the way I was treated. I hope my experience isn't indicative of how the owner treats other customers.
