I…read morereally like to take my time walking around the store and finding neat things, I recently bought some baby items for my co-worker that was having a baby girl, she loved the gifts. Prices range form average to pricey but as always it depends on what "pricey" is to you. I find the clothes really not my taste or size, but I have added a scarf or two to my accessory box. Mini-MI loves to buy little knickknacks for her room and as gifts for birthdays. Everything is in little sections and by occasion, there isn't much elbow room in some sections-- so I would suggest you carry your toddler or baby, not room for a stroller. It can be really warm inside I don't think its from the heater as much as its a small building without open windows and twice the perfume or air freshener is a bit overpowering. We have yet to eat at the café but I have had friends who have enjoyed it in the summer time and say its nice. I'll have to check it out.

A cute shop. Coming from out of the area, it was a bit of a hike in the middle of nowhere, and the…read moreouter appearance made me doubt whether I'd like it. What exactly is in the building directly behind the parking lot? I imagine on a summer day with the patio fully being utilized, this would make for a more appealing landscape. Upon entering the small shop, inviting scents and visually appealing colors welcomed me. Because it was Valentine's day weekend, the shop was covered in beautiful flowers. Everywhere I looked there were flowers. Roses to be exact. The store is arranged nicely for the amount of space they are working with. Be very careful...this is not a place to bring your stroller into unless you want to risk knocking something off the rack. Prices are a bit steep. I can understand to an extent. The chocolates being sold were from another store (as per the label), so in order to make a profit, there had to be an upcharge. It makes sense...you're paying a little more for the convenience of gettting...say the chocolate and some other gift all in one place. It's nice to have the option, but if you're looking for reasonable prices, it isn't happening here. I appreciate the off the wall items that are unique. They have Alex and Ani, and other bracelet brands I haven't heard of that might be the next hit. I was bummed about not seeing the entry forms for the lipstick kiss contest. Over by that area was some coffee and mini biscotti. I wasn't sure if this was complimentary or something you had to pay for. A sign would help. The staff was friendly and helpful. A little too helpful for my taste, but I'm just a person who would rather look around on my own. I'm certain, on this weekend in particular, some of the men found the willingness to help pick out items and answer questions very pleasing. The bag you receive your purchase in is cute. I would have preferred to have been asked if I wanted to be on the mailing list as opposed to asked for all of my contact info prior to ringing me up. In a small shop like this, I didn't know if it was a requirement of sorts for the transaction because it wasn't mentioned to me what the info was for. Overall, this shop definitely has a niche - there aren't many places that specialize in some more unique women's gifty items as well as serve a light fare amidst a patio. I'm glad this shop exists, and I like that they have a Yelp promo. I'd return if I was in the area.

The store is a craft and clothing boutique. It's much more than that. Everything there is a one-of-a-kind unique item that local crafters have created. I loved browsing through the entire store and there were so many hidden gems. I was originally trying to find something for my friends twin daughters. I got a little bit overwhelmed with all the cute things that they have. I must say I want to buying a pair of airings for myself. I had to say to bring my girlfriend over and just ask her very point-blank "what adorable items do you want for your twins because they're all just too cute." You are not allowed to take pictures in the store. The reason is simple, all the items are one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts. She had a bad experience with one time she was at a tradeshow and somebody took pictures of her items. The next thing she knew she was browsing in a high-end catalog for jewelry and she found her pieces replicated. That is devastating to a crafter who takes pride in their products and did not get a single penny for it. I can respect that. She still has awesome things. Will definitely go back.

There schedule is to be open on Saturdays, so it never occurred to me that I needed to check if it was open first. They have very low prices on eggs, and they sell cat litter, which comes in handy in a pinch when I can't get to the supermarket, for very good prices, as well. I often stop in to pick up prescriptions for my parents, and they are friendly and courteous. The hours are decent, and the store is open until around 6:30 most nights. The only thing I dislike is the new awning and sign they put up; it's gregarious, gaudy, loud, flashing, and ostentatious, not befitting the humility of our neighborhood. It frankly looks trashy and low class, not befitting my neighborhood (this type of sign looks more at home in a bad neighborhood in the ghetto, not Bensonhurst).

Santa has selective hearing, he only heard Dog Tag. No, he actually heard David and Tiffany, but wanted me to have something special and unique. So he searched the web and found PCD and I'm glad that he did. PCD is a creative and innovative designer working in Platinum, 24 & 18K yellow gold, 18k white gold, 18k pink gold and my favorite sterling silver. My first Christmas, I did get my dog tag along with a very detailed Koi Fish. A Koi Fish in Japanese is for good luck. I had to have that one explained to me, because I wondered why I was getting a fish. Once I understood, it was cool and thoughtful that someone one would give me "good luck" to have around my neck at all times. These are small charms attached to a ring on a rawhide necklace. The second year, we sent my necklace back and had them add a small dog bone. You can see, I have a theme going on to match my nickname of "sheltie dad". Then this third year, he started a new necklace with a disc imprinted with a paw print and a wishbone signifying luck dog. I totally enjoy both of my PCD necklaces, and just the other day I meet someone visiting the area wearing a PCD Koi fish. When I commented on hers' she was amazed someone in STL knew about PCD. She was even more surprised when I showed her all of my charms. PCD has amazing bracelets and rings as well and I now have my eyes set on a ring. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they soon find a jeweler here in STL to carry their product. In the meantime, we'll continue to order from their catalog and over the phone.
