Absolutely outstanding service from Legacy Plumbing!…read more I had what I thought was going to be a simple toilet repair, but it turned out the toilet itself needed to be replaced due to some poor craftsmanship from previous companies. The last homeowner had a cheap toilet installed, which created more problems than expected. Jake was fantastic throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what I was paying for rather than just pushing me toward the most expensive solution. What really impressed me was that Jake worked the cost of the work they had already completed into the replacement toilet, which saved me a significant amount of money. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the service and the unexpected issue we ran into. Great communication, fair pricing, excellent workmanship, and genuinely great customer service. I would absolutely recommend Legacy Plumbing, and especially Jake, to anyone who needs a plumber. The owner Aaron contacted me through Yelp to reply to my review. We spoke and he gave me several…read morepersonal reasons they muffed the job. That did not excuse the work or the misdiagnosis, which is why this is not a solid 5 star review. He offered to refund the detailed inspection charge to satisfy me and I agreed. He told me that he would send me a check I asked if he had the address he said yes. I really thought I could give him a positive follow-up for making things right and here we are a month later and I have received the check. He also refunded the charge for what they did fix as part of a good faith gesture which I appreciate very much. The reasons for changing the review to 4 stars are clearly about the integrity of Aaron the owner of Anchor Plumbing. First, not to go into personal details, he shared the reasons he was not available to his team during the repair visit. If he had been available I am positive we would have achieved a much better result. Emergencies are just that. It doesn't excuse the issue. What it does is more important. A small business owner who even looks at the Yelp reviews I have been publishing these many years is reassuring. Especially when we are looking for tradesmen who come into our homes. The fact that Aaron took full responsibility and followed through is gratifying to me and for anyone reading this you can be sure this business stands by their work and they do not ghost their customers when things go sideways Thank you Anchor Plumbing. Excellence in customer service cannot be taught easily many business owners either don't know its importance or they just don't care. Anchor Plumbing is a generational business founded by Aaron's grandfather and passed to his father and now to himself. I am quite sure he learned the value of excellence in customer service before he could hold a wrench. JCG

I do want to say that I appreciate the effort involved in replacing our main sewer line and…read morerecognize that was a significant repair. That said, I do want to express my dissatisfaction with aspects of the project execution. My understanding per the contract and my discussion with Baker Bros, was that the project would take 2 days and included restoration of the yard, with existing grass being replaced where possible and sod being installed in areas where the original grass could not be salvaged. Instead the project extended from last Thursday through Friday of the next week, which was substantially longer than anticipated. Although the plumbing was complete, the backfill, and yard restoration was not. Ultimately, I'm disappointed with the condition in which the yard was left. While I understand excavation work will inevitably impact the appearance of the lawn, I expected the restoration work to be performed with greater care and attention to detail. Some of the sod had been laid over each other or over existing grass rather than being properly cut and fitted into areas where replacement was actually needed. My expectation was never that the yard would look exactly as it did before the repair. However, I did expect the restoration efforts to reflect the same level of professionalism as the sewer line replacement itself. For example, on the first day of yard restoration after I had chatted with a Baker Bros Service Plumber about the yard, who I am assuming to be the general foreman of the 3rd party restoration crew, showed up to my home and I walked out to a group of around 8 men, and he stated, "my boss said you have a problem". But I would've expected Baker Bros to come out to check on the status of 3rd party contracted work. I've used baker bros since we bought our home over 3 years ago and have always had positive experiences; however, this piece was not a great one.

They used modern equipment to thoroughly test everything and were able to identify the actual problem very quickly. I initially thought I had a plumbing leak, which could have turned into a very expensive repair. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary work, he took the extra time to investigate and determined that the plumbing was fine--the water was actually getting through cracks around the shower. His honest diagnosis potentially saved me thousands of dollars. He was also very empathetic, explained everything clearly, and even gave me a discount. It's difficult to find professionals who combine this level of knowledge, technology, honesty, and customer service. I cannot recommend The Leak Whisperers enough. Easily 5 stars.

No matter which plumber you like or how you expect to handle your leak, call Leak Whisperers first…read moreand pay the relatively low price for a diagnostic. There are a lot of different types of people out there with different types of knowledge and experience and different tools they use, but this should absolutely be your first call. I say that because it was not my first call and I wish it had been. I have a friend who is very plugged into the plumbing industry who recommended another plumber to me. So that plumber, who advertisers leak detection as part of his services as well, came and spent some time trying to localize it. He was here for almost 7 hours, much of which was diagnosing the issue and then doing a couple reroutes. When he left, we knew it was still leaking (probably a 2nd leak, we assumed), but it was late and the issue was seeming fairly complex. Before he came out again a couple days later, I asked Jason to come have a look. He walked in and it took him about 15 minutes to map out the pipes and identify the most likely source of the leak. We spent a little more time reviewing what the other plumber had done and talking about what the next steps should probably be. He was very professional about that process, not just crapping on the other plumber's work or anything like that. He also helped me get the lines labeled so it would be easier for me to know what was what. He clearly cared to see that my issue was resolved. When the other plumbers came back, Jason sent me several text messages with information I could share with them that he knew would be helpful. When it sounded like they were maybe not in alignment, he sent me a lot more information and strongly advised letting him call me so I could get us all on the phone together. I tried my best to be diplomatic about this process because I didn't want anybody feeling like their toes were getting stepped on, but ultimately we got on speaker phone with those guys and Jason explained what was going on. They were a little bit resistant at first and wanted to keep on with their own methods of exploring the situation, but it didn't take long for them to realize that everything Jason had said was true and that his recommended solution was the best course of action. So, ultimately, everybody ended up in agreement, the main difference being that it took Jason -- with his tools and experience -- about 25 minutes to know everything you could want to know. And the most important thing to know about this is that the plumbers I had been using were still good plumbers with decades of experience who I would still not hesitate to recommend. Jason just happens to have a particular expertise doing leaks day in and day out. The other guys were qualified and competent. Jason was just next level. Before they left, they commented that Jason had been really helpful and asked me for his contact information so they could see about using him on some of their jobs. I think that's a pretty damn good endorsement. Anyway, I know there are a lot of options on Yelp if you have a leak, but I don't see any reason to look any further from here.
