This place was recommended to me by a colleague. I went here twice. The first time the place was closed on a weekday afternoon for some reason. The second time they were open and it was enough to never go back. The cashier was friendly and had gloves on. They didn't take the gloves off when I held out my credit card. I was shocked, what's the point of wearing gloves? They then proceeded to handle multiple peoples credit cards, cash, gave back change, etc. and then touched the food without changing them. A few minutes later they did the same thing with more peoples orders, not once changing gloves! I was watching while I waited for my food. Then there were signs all over the restaurant about not asking for a box if you plan to eat in the restaurant. Problem is the plates are about 3/4 the size of a slice and your pizza will droop off the plate. I did not plan to eat at the restaurant, but you need the box if you do (or at least an extra plate). The sign said something about saving the environment, which is believable on the face of it, but they're just being cheap. I ordered four slices to go (for myself and a colleague) and they put two in a box, put paper plates on top of the pizza slices, then put two more on top of that. Know what happens to cheese when it's hot fresh out of the oven and you put something on it? IT STICKS! The bottom two slices were ruined by the plates melting into the cheese. I tried to take the plate off, but by the time I got back it had thoroughly melted into the cheese and was of no success. We each ate one of the two that weren't ruined and I went back out to finish lunch. Waste of time and money. From the slice I had it was OK. Not good enough to recommend, but not bad enough to not mention if someone asks me if there's a pizza place nearby. But then again, it's difficult to screw up pizza. If there were no issues I would give it 2, maybe 3 stars based on the pizza alone. read more

Had no idea there was a second wise guy pizza. In fact I got here totally by accident. Just searched in Google and picked the closest one and I was confused until I drove right past it. Same quality as the original in DC just a smaller location. Pretty easy to park right out in front late at night so I might start going here instead of the one in downtown although the DC location is open much later. read more

I've been visiting this location for over 1 year. It remains stellar and is remarkably consistent. Large slices of pizza. Good for takeout, good for stopping by. An absolutely NYC style pizza in a surprising location. The folks that work in Roslyn, live in that part of Arlington, are extremely fortunate. read more

Good pizza. I had the margherita slice. The sauce and the mozzarella was tasty. There was a lot of extra parmesan on my slice which over-powered the delicate flavor balance of a classic margherita flavors. read more

Oftentimes I only have a few minutes for lunch and I don't mind spending some of these minutes in line waiting for Wiseguy pizza. On average, I go here once a week. This really should be a carryout-only place -- seating is very limited. However, the pizza is worth the wait. read more

I thought there was only one true NY style pizza place in the area, then I found wiseguy's. If you haven't been the other place is Valentino's off 236 near Annandale. To me it's a toss up between both places because they each do certain things really well. Wiseguy's has a really great Sicilian crust and they're standard NY style slices are delicious. I think Valentino's has better specialty slices but honestly I'm splitting hairs at this point. Just eat at both places. read more

Come here every now and then on my lunch break. The Pizza is premade and they heat it up for you to go. The shop is small but a big hit for all the offices nearby. The slices are huge and you can spot their boxes from down the block! The pizza is Very Very greasy!! But they do have a lot of topping options and you pay by the slice or can order a whole pizza. read more

A long needed and welcomes addition to the Rosslyn food chain. Big slices of good pizza viewed under the hood. Lunch for under $11.00 bucks you can't go wrong. Get there early, because the line gets long after 11:30. Also plan on getting it to go, small table area and it will get hot this summer. Wiseguy's gets 5 stars from me because it is the best place in Rosslyn to grab a slice (or more!) of NY style pizza. I've never been during the lunch rush, so I can't comment on how they handle volume, but I can tell you that for a quick dinner it's perfect. My go-to style is their cheese - not because I'm overwhelmed by all their options, but because it is THAT good. Try it fresh out of the oven with some garlic powder, some crushed red, and grate (!) some of their parmesan over it and you will definitely be back for more. Great pizza! We were staying at a near by hotel and wanted a pizza to take back with us. The employees were very nice and they had a variety of pizza slices to choose from. We decided to order a large cheese pizza and it was very good! A lady was also having a slice of pizza when we were waiting, she stated how amazing the pizza was. Decided to give this place a try and it turned out to be a mess. Placed an order for a Sicillian Pepperoni via door dash for delivery. Received the pizza in 45 minutes piping hot only to discover that the entire underside of the pizza is burned to a crisp and black. I immediately called Wiseguys and was told to expect a replacement pizza in 15 minutes. Over an hour later and nothing. No pizza and no communication. Called back and was told door dash lacked a delivery person. So why tell me 15 minutes in the first place if that is the case and why not call me to let me know about the delay? Was told that a delivery driver had been located and could expect my 2nd pie in 15 minutes. A few seconds later I received a call from Door Dash apologizing for the confusion and assuring me that I would have my food in 10-15 minutes. The second pizza finally arrived over nearly 3 hours after my initial order. Ugh. After such a horrible first impression you would think Wiseguys would send me the best possible pizza they could make. Nope. The pizza arrived stale and cold. It was not fresh. With all of the fantastic pizza options in Arlington, this place will not last 6 months. read more

This place is close to my work and my go-to lunch spot. My favorite is the truffle pizza. The slices are large and if you order the whole pie it's an even bigger bang for your buck. Parking is kinda hard to find in this area so it's best to either walk or metro in. read more
