Today was my first experience with Wiro and this is the only car service I'll be using in NYC from now on. William went above and beyond for me. He texted the day before my appointment to confirm personally, tracked my flight and arrived 30 minutes early because he saw we were landing early, greeted me right at the terminal and was so pleasant on the ride in to the city. Seriously, 5 Star all the way. Update: I used Wiro again as I was leaving the city and my driver Gerson was amazing. Arrived early, great conversation, and incredible service. It was the perfect way to end my trip. read more

These guys are great. I read a lot of reviews of car services before landing on Wiro and it was definitely worth the effort. When I reserved the first time, I had to cancel last minute because of a problem with my flight. They replied to the email within minutes letting me know that it was no problem and there was no charge, even thought it was only a couple of hours noticed. When I got my flight rebooked, I reserved with them again and this time I put my wrong cell number on the reservation. I landed in Newark and dropped them a line and they immediately called back saying they had the wrong number. Totally my bad. Even though it was my screwup, they were at the door within 60 seconds! The driver got us to Manhattan in very short order despite there being huge delays in traffic due to weather and we made our dinner reservation as a result. That was fantastic. When we flew out a couple of days later, William was there to pick us up in a very clean and well kept SUV. We had a great chat on the way to the airport about all of the neat experiences he's had as part of his job and it felt more like had grabbed a lift from a friend versus hiring a car service. I would not hesitate booking with Wiro again in in the future and if you're looking for an excellent service, you need look no further. read more

No idea why there is a review saying they are out of business, as I've made two trips to NYC and used them since it went up. It's just flat false and I don't understand why Yelp won't pull it or let me flag it. Anyway... I have used WiroLimo several times now for trips to NYC. The cars are always clean, the drivers usually offer you some bottled water, and rides are smooth. I appreciate the day-before texts from drivers to confirm the details. The one time I didn't get a advance text made me really nervous, but it all worked out fine. Once I realized I had put in the wrong date for my return to the airport and they were able to change it on less than 24 hours notice. Never waited much more than 10 minutes at the airport pickup, and they have always been early for the return trip from my hotel. Sometimes the driver who texts you is not the one who picks you up, and you know there has been a lot of re-arranging behind the scenes, but so what? The important thing for me is I get my ride. We were very impressed with Wirolimo. We debated about weather to take a cab or have a driver. After we decided on a driver, I checked the reviews on the internet and found WiroLimo. From the very start the service was quick, friendly and professional. William text us and let us know when and where our driver would be. Our plane arrived early and our driver arrived on time. We were impressed with the car (inside and out) and our driver. Our driver answered all of our questions and shared his knowledge of NYC. The ride was comfortable and smooth. We arrived at our hotel happy and relaxed. I can't recommend Wirolimo enough. We will definitely use them again!! read more

Once again, I needed transport to Williamsburg Waterfront from lower Manhattan, and WiroLimo to the rescue. We had arranged a pick up for 12:30 am not realizing the event ended aat 10 PM. Wil was able to arrange for one of his best drivers, Carlos to pick us up early. Excellent service. The best and only company I will use. read more

We decided to use WiroLimo for a special occasion because of the great Yelp reviews, and they lived up to the hype. The reservation process is prompt and professional. The individual drivers confirmed via text message a day or two prior so we would have their contact info. They arrived on time and patiently waited for all of us to assemble. The vehicles were very nice and well-maintained. It was all really seamless. I would absolutely choose WiroLimo again for my transportation needs. read more

Although some reviewers seemed to be having issues when they are getting rides from the airports to other boroughs in New York, I had no issues with WiRo Limo taking it from JFK to Manhattan and back again. I decided to book a car for a recent trip to NYC and after reading the good reviews here, I decided to give them a try. You book the trip online and when the driver will text you the day before and you'll receive an email from the company as well. The driver will also track what time your flight comes in, ours arrived about 20-minutes early, and our driver was already at the airport and texted me to text him once we come outside and where to meet him. The car was an SUV and it was clean and roomy and the driver and the ride was nice and smooth -- even though the traffic was horrid and took us about 90-110-minutes to get into the city. Since I pre-paid by credit card, I didn't have to do anything else. For our return trip, I changed the pickup time from 11am to 10am, which you do by email from your confirmation email that they sent, and everything was perfect. Of course there was NO TRAFFIC going to JFK on Sunday so we made it there in about 35-40-minutes. Anyway, it is a little bit expensive versus the ride share buses or the taxis but it's so worth it if you want stress free transportation. read more

I would give 5 stars but I can't honestly say "it's as good as it gets" since I have no other experience with a limo/car service picking us up at an airport. BUT....I can say this, Williams service is top notch. My wife and I flew into JFK and seeing the reviews of WiroLimo thought we'd give it a try. William was totally on the ball, making sure we were notified before we left San Diego that his driver was ready for us that night at JFK. His driver was courteous and 100% professional even telling us to please button up our coats before we left the terminal because it was so cold outside. On our departure :-( we had to be picked up at 6:30 AM and his driver showed up 10 minutes early. All in all, WiroLimo is HIGHLY recommended and we will absolutely use Williams service next time we visit NY. We would never even consider taking a cab from JFK when we could use WiroLimo. read more

We used Wiro Limo in October 2011 as we were in NYC for our 15th wedding anniversary. I had used another limo service when I used to travel to NYC for business, but read some not so great reviews about them online. While Wiro Limo was a bit more expensive than some of the others online, they were MORE than worth the additional cost. First, they are extremely good at communicating with you -- I prefer text/email, and the text communications were frequent and timely. Second, they were not only ON time, they were early. No pressure on us to leave early, they just wanted us know that they were ready for us. Finally, the SUV was extremely clean, and the drivers were extremely polite (thanks, William). I would highly recommend Wiro Limo to anyone traveling to the NYC area for any reason. Wallace, St. Louis, MO read more

On time. Clean. Roomy. Friendly. What more could you want in a car service? Really liked that we got a text from the driver the day before to open lines of communication. It really helped to be able to text with him in order to locate one another at LGA. read more

I rarely get into writing reviews. Wirolimo improved our trip experience to nyc so much that it motivated me to register for yelp and write something up. Six years ago I visited NYC and caught the yellow cab to and from the airport and hated the experience. I felt like the cab drivers were trying to rip me off and they drove like maniacs while on the phone the whole time. While planning this trip I thought there must be a better way. I scoured the internet and I was impressed that Wirolimo was the only company that had consistent high reviews. When I checked out their website I was surprised that their prices were extremely reasonable. We used them 4 times during our visit to New York and they exceeded our expectations. Excellent communication, you receive a text day prior to travel to confirm. Upon arrival at the airport, call or text and within 5 minutes you're riding away. Never a problem getting someone on the phone. Drivers were consistently courteous and helpful with our bags. Drivers and cars were consistently clean. The drivers drove in a reasonable manner and were always on time or early. Since the prices are negotiated ahead of time I never worried about getting cheated. Although the prices were slightly higher than the fixed rate of the yellow cab I think on two rides in heavy rush hour traffic it probably ended up being cheaper with Wirolimo. Also, on two rides we got a huge SUV which was great for my family of 4 at no extra charge. I can easily recommend William and his team. I don't know what more you can ask for from a car service. It's nice to see that companies dedicated to service still exist. After the Wirolimo experience, going back to yellow cab for me is a non option. read more

Like many of the people who wrote excellent reviews on Yelp, I chose WiroLimo because of their rating. We used them for our transfers from JFK to Midtown Manhattan, and Midtown Manhattan to LGA. We had a cancelled flight which delayed our arrival for 24 hours. A simple email to William notifying him of the situation. No questions asked, they waited for me to email our new flight details and they would handle everything else. William was the one who actually greeted us at JFK baggage claim after a stressful and delayed flight. He was polite and professional. He helped us with our luggage (and there was a lot), and we didn't have to lift a finger. For peace of mind, I suggest using WiroLimo to get you anywhere in New York. You get what you paid for, so although they may be a little more expensive than their competitors - at least you know you can rely on WiroLimo to get you there. The best part about it - no hidden fees, their quoted price is all you pay. I prefer knowing what I'm paying for upfront, so their fixed price regime works wonders for my peace of mind. read more

Was concerned about our first trip to New York about getting from Newark to our hotel in mid-town Manhattan...but my concerns were quickly dismissed. William was waiting for us at baggage claim as promised. He quickly escorted us out to a comfortable 15 passenger van (we had 9 people). As he navigated us to our hotel he put us at ease with engaging conversation and skillful driving. I was holding off on booking our return based on how good the service was, but it was an easy choice. He was there early to pick us up, calling ahead to let us know there was a bike tour that he had to avoid. Great job William! Much appreciated! - The crew from Dream New York Hotel read more

Hands down this is the best car service in the New York area. I've used them several times to/from Brooklyn Heights to either JFK or Newark. I've never been disappointed with their service. The drivers are reliable and professional communicating with you a day in advance of your pick up (as well as when they arrive) and are on time. All of the cars have been very clean inside and out. On my last trip (12/27/2013), I had Ronald for my driver. He's the only driver that's had bottled water available to me when I got in the car. He also didn't spend time talking on his cell and was very friendly and engaging during my ride to JFK (at 5:45am!). I wouldn't hesitate to request Ronald again, if he's available. I highly recommend this car service. Its service and drivers are above excellent! read more

I have used this company last month and it as such a good service so decided to repeat again. I booked JFK-Midtown roundtrip on 12/11 and 12/16. It is very difficult to find a divers in NYC who are skilled with good heart. I will definitely keep using whenever I come back to NYC. read more

WiroLimo - Limos Near Me - Queens, New York

What a great experience. WiroLimo will definitely be getting my business again. Reservations online were a snap. The confirmation emails were great and informative. As soon as we got off the plane and turned our phones on, there was a text from William and also the 2nd vehicles driver saying they were waiting for us and to let them know when we were ready for pickup. They arrived within 2 minutes of us letting them know we had our bags. We were given a great informative tour on our way to our Hotel in downtown Manhattan. The Suburbans were clean, smelled nice and even looked nice. WiroLimo definitely takes pride in their vehicles and it shows. Our return trip to the airport was just as good of an experience. Thanks William and WiroLimo for making our trip a memorable one and for your great services. We will be using you again on all our visits. Very Highly Recommended. read more

WiroLimo knows how to do things the right way! I have never used a black car service in NYC before and was a little worried that the reservation would get lost or mixed up. However, our WiroLimo guy (Al) texted us within 5 minutes of arriving at LGA saying he was ready touch us up. This was despite the fact that our flight was actually 15 minutes early. As soon as we retrieved our checked luggage I texted him and he picked us up within 5-10 minutes (they wait in the cell phone lot). Al got us into Midtown Manhattan quickly and didn't drive crazy like yellow cab taxi drivers do. On our return trip to LGA we used Wirolimo again, this time Ronald picked us up. Ronald arrived early and texted me that he was ready whenever we were. We hopped in and got back to LGA within 45 minutes in pretty heavy traffic. He loaded and unloaded all of the luggage for us and took great care doing it. Both cars were very clean. Both drivers drove without seeming to be in a hurry. For those booking with them and landing at one of the airports, they monitor your flight and don't charge waiting fees for an hour (I believe) after your flight lands. I was worried that we would be late and lose our reservation or be charged for waiting, but they do neither. Overall, very good customer service. I would highly recommend to anyone needing to get to or from an airport. read more

Made reservations a week prior to flying into JFK. Received a text the day before from driver Nicholas to confirm pick up. Another text as we were in the air to ask us to let him know when we landed. Nicholas texted again with the baggage claim number as we were taxiing. He met us dressed in a suit by the baggage claim with our last name written on a sign. NICE! He put our bags on the cart, hefted our checked bags, too, and was parked right outside in the very first parking lot. He was quick, efficient, and polite. The drive was what I expected, as I'd read about traffic outside JFK. He was patient, knowledgable, and put on some jazz music we could enjoy. Water bottles were a nice touch. We will absolutely call for him again when we return. Thanks, Nicholas! read more

Best car service in New York City. The driver contacts you the day before to confirm. The meet and greet is efficient and professional. The car is spotless. The driver is friendly and professionally dressed. I have been badly let down by Carmel and by dial 7 at jfk and now rely on wiro limo when I travel. It is more expensive than Carmel and dial 7 but the level of service, reliability and professionalism is worth it! read more

Love William and Wiro, but latest exchange was troubling. I've used Wiro for over three years based on their Yelp reviews. I always reserve online and have gotten email confirmations in the past without any problems. I still remember the old days when William picked me up himself and we did everything through text messages. He's such a great guy and always gave great service. On my most recent trip I have had troubling experiences with their service. Prior to my trip, I received no email confirmations about my pickups. No text messages either. When I texted William to find out what was going on, he wrote back that Gmail was blocking their messages as spam. I checked my spam folder but still could find any confirmation messages. When I texted William back, the person answering the texts got snippy with me and sent these messages: "Is over 27,000 cust. Worlwide I can't do this no more" and "We received over 100 reservations daily and trust me is working perfect" Well, I guess it must be my email that is having problems. But as a loyal customer for over three years, I did feel like it was a bit of a letdown not to try to help me with my reservation. Congrats that Wiro has gotten so big and successful! It's too bad that my experience makes me think William has forgotten about what made Wiro so special--his great attitude and service. Makes me wonder if he went on vacation or sold Wiro to someone else operating off of his reputation, because I can't believe the William I have known for three years would treat his customers this way. William, if you went on vacation or sold out, please come back. If it is really you, I hope you can find your joy back and shine your light back at dazzling your customers with your great attitude and service. I wish you all the best, but you may have lost a customer. I realize you have 26,999 more, so it is more my sadness in loosing the Wiro that I have known all these years. Believe me, I don't look forward to yellow cabs or finding another car service. This makes me so sad :-( read more

Updating my review to just confirm what I've always known - William and WiroLimo is hands down the best in the biz. While the Ubers and Lyfts of the world have disrupted the market, there is still a place for a professional, reliable, trusted car service with drivers that go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I recently used WiroLimo for an early morning pick-up on a rainy 8am Monday morning arrival at LaGuardia. Given all the construction at the airport and traffic I didn't want to risk waiting for an Uber or sitting in a taxi line. I knew I could rely on WiroLimo and I got the text that they were waiting for me right when I landed and turned my phone on. They are the only car service I use when family comes to town. Thank you William and WiroLimo for the last 8 years of five star service! read more

First, the upside: the drivers are consistently on time, professional, and arrive in cars that are clean and well-maintained. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Now, the downside: you can only book via the web, and the interface is clunky, at best, and is virtually impossible to use from an iPhone or Android. They often take HOURS to confirm a reservation, and in the interim, if you find a service with (gasp) a phone that is willing to confirm a reservation on the spot, they'll charge you. Even if they do get back to you quickly, their email format is likely to be tagged as spam, which is impossible to retrieve on a mobile device, increasing your risk of being charged a no-show fee. They want to keep the web-only format? Fine. Make it mobile friendly, and rather than e-confirm, CALL or TEXT the confirm and guarantee a MINIMUM RESPONSE TIME. Running off with my credit card details and leaving me in limbo is NOT acceptable, particularly when you plan to charge me for failing to cancel within the window, even if I had no idea that I had a reservation. read more

I am absolutely livid. I have been a frequent and loyal customer of WiroLimo for two years and I cannot even believe I am writing this review right now. A little background. I live in Florida but travel to NYC with my husband for his job about once per month. I have used WiroLimo for our rides from and to the airport for all of our trips for the past two years - so about two dozen times. With one exception our drivers have all been very nice, professional, and prompt. I can overlook one guy having a bad day. Also with one exception all of our assigned cars have been clean, relatively new, and comfortable. I always reserve sedan service and have been assigned a Toyota Highlander SUV, a Cadillac Escalade SUV, a Suburban SUV, and a Lincoln MKZ crossover (those are the ones I can recall) which were all late-model and comfortable vehicles. Even the Toyota had leather and power outlets in the back seat. But last year I was assigned Melvin and his 2010 Lincoln Town Car. Melvin is nice enough, but the car didn't seem as clean inside as the other cars we had been assigned, the ride was rougher than any of the other vehicles, and the rear seatbelts were extremely short. My husband is a big and tall guy, and also disabled, but this was the first time he was unable to buckle his seat belt. On that trip he just didn't wear it and we crossed our fingers and arrived safe and sound. But on subsequent trip reservations I made the special request to not be assigned a pre-2014 (when they switched to the MKZ/MKT) Lincoln Town Car. I've probably made that request 10 times now and it has always been honored - until this trip. We arrived at La Guardia on Monday to find that our assigned driver was Melvin, with his 2010 Town Car. Again, Melvin was very nice. My husband decided to try the back seat, thinking maybe the previous time he was just having a bad day the last time we rode with Melvin. Plus, he has lost a few pounds since then. Sure enough, the seat belt was still too short. Again, this has never been an issue in any other vehicle. So we asked Melvin to clear off the front seat and my husband rode up there - which is somewhat awkward for both of us and also destroys any sense of privacy if my husband has to take a work call (which happens often). Today I received my confirmation text from my assigned driver for my return trip to La Guardia tomorrow. Once again, it's Melvin. I asked him if he still had the 2010 Town Car and he said yes and asked me if I would like to be assigned a different car and driver. I told him yes and asked him who I needed to talk to. He instructed me to e-mail info@wirolimo.com. I sent an e-mail with my original confirmation and explained my whole situation - frequent and loyal customer, special request, safety and comfort concerns....can you please change my driver assignment to someone with a more suitable car? I received a reply from Stella 4 minutes later - which has got to be a speed record - that simply said "Unfortunately we have to cancel this reservation we can't help you with your request. " Really? After two years, two dozen rides...you go straight to "we have to cancel this reservation?" You don't even say something like "You could upgrade to an SUV for $30 more." You just CANCEL? I wrote her back and asked her if she was really just going to go straight to cancellation without even trying to work something out. That was 45 minutes ago and I've received no response. So I guess that answers that. Yes, they are probably the least expensive "nice" car service with a high average rating. And if you use them, it will probably be fine. I know I have a rather unique set of circumstances. But they do not list their fleet on their website, so you don't really know what you are going to be getting (it just says "sedan" or "SUV"). Additionally, in all of this time and through all of these reservations I have never been able to successfully register as a frequent customer to save my information. And now I have had this absolutely atrocious customer service experience and I will never use them again. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible communications from these people. On Monday, I used the website to reserve a Wednesday airport transfer to LaGuardia for a client from New York who would be visiting my business in Atlanta. I dutifully filled out the web form--which allowed me to let Wiro know that I was a 3rd party person making a reservation for someone else--and submitted it. I received no email or text confirmation on Monday and by Tuesday at noon I received no confirmation either. I even checked my spam as their website indicated that I should do so. I then began to try and call Wiro as it was important that I be able to confirm my client's transfer. No answer on the phone. So, I did what anyone would do, and booked with another service. Wednesday morning, very early, my phone rang and some guy from Wiro began to yell at me because his driver had shown up at my client's residence and discovered that the client had taken another car service to the airport. He was rude and began to yell at me by saying that he had texted my client this morning about the pickup and that I should have checked my spam box and that the only cancellation he accepted was by email. Whatever the communication policy of this company is, it didn't work. I'm sure they'll charge me for the service as the guy who called me never took a breath to try and listen or to figure out what had gone wrong. I was yelling by the end of the call and he was yelling as well. I set up these kinds of transfers regularly and I would NEVER NEVER use Wiro again. They're rude and it's not at all clear how the system works. If they're going to ask for all my information and my credit card number online, then they should respond to my request in a timely manner as well as make it possible for me to contact them by phone (which, based on other reviews seems impossible and not a one-time thing that happened to me) when I don't hear from them. read more

Smooth and quick ride! The driver was very nice and respectable. I would consider using this travel system again.

I booked this company to bring me and my bridal party from the hotel to the church on my wedding day. The driver had to wait outside the hotel for 10 minutes so he charged me an extra $120, which was insane. I had booked a 10 person limo and assumed that meant that we could have 10 people, not including the driver. That was not the case. When we got in, he was adamant that someone had to get out and take a cab because we had 10 people, and we could only have 9 (because he was the 10th person). We had to beg him to take all of us. He didn't have the AC on before we got in the car so it was insanely hot in the limo for the entire ride and sweating before the whole wedding even started was pretty bad. I was not impressed at all. Don't let the cheap price fool you- they will find a way to charge you more! read more

We hired Wirolimo and paid more because wanted an elevated experience compared to uber or a cab in order to get to a black tie event and instead it was less than classy because if the condition of the car and driver. The car was filthy inside and out, I could not see out of the window because it was so dirty and the driver was dressed very casually. He tried to drop us off at the side of the building rather than the front entrance, but went around the block to the front when I insisted. They did show up on time, but don't expect a classy experience that the "limo" in the name implies. read more

Avoid at all cost! After not meeting me on time, they charged me $90 for a ride I didn't take. Ended up taking a taxi to make my appointment in the city. So far, the best we've had. We book travel, usually from airports to hotels, for the guests that are on our television shows. They are pretty high-profile guests. We've tried many different car services (like Dial 7) and have not had good luck. We've used Wirolimo many times now and have had many compliments. Their drivers are professional and the cars are nice. The only thing is please DON'T HAVE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO ANYTHING AND YOU'RE FINE. If you've got to change a date or an address or something after you've booked, you get a bad attitude in return. For some reason, they only want stuff done through email which can be frustrating in dire moments and GOD HELP YOU if you miss one of their emails. You'll be scolded like a school kid. In closing, great car service as long as everything you book goes perfect and we all know that's the way everything is. Right? read more
