When I went to check the Xfinity app, my account was unrecoverable--no access granted to me on my end. A few months pass by, and all of sudden a collection agency is calling my nonstop. Xfinity failed to contact me via email, text, or phone. Now, I have collections calling me for a bill I can easily afford. This is likely going to affect my credit score now, all because Xfinity has a broken app and inept employees.

I was currently getting 5 megabytes per second with my current phone company and ABE said I would get 50 megabytes with Hughes.net. He said it would go down a little after I used my allotment. I asked what it would go down to and was told between 11 and 20 megabytes which at worse case twice as fast as what I was getting now. I as also told that I could keep my current phone number which was very important to me. That was a lie. I had to get a new number. The 50 megabytes were used up in less than a day and the speed went down to 1.5 megabytes. With two kids going to Western New Mexico University taking online courses Hughes.net could not support needs at 1.5 megabytes. Hughes.net charged me $480.00 early termination fee on a contract based on lies. This by far was the worst business deal I have ever encountered. I would encourage everyone to stay away from Hughes.net and Mesilla Valley Satellite. Hughes.net should not have charged me an early termination fee. I have all my bills taken out automatically from bank account and Hughes.net took out the $480.00 from my bank without my authorization.

We went in fully anticipating being told that he would need to upgrade but much to our surprise Larry quickly offered to fix the problem by replacing the SIM card. He also offered to take a look at my device even though it was not on the original ticket. It was actually a PLEASANT experience and we both left with our devices working better than when we walked in. WELL DONE!!
