It showed an activation lock tied to a different Apple ID. Apple later confirmed the logic board they installed had been reported as STOLEN. So to be clear: * Nearly $800 charged * Weeks with no real updates * Tried to charge us just to ask for status * Installed a stolen part * Computer still unusable They refused to refund us. However be aware they don't have warranty for any physical damage (not sure what the point of even offering it is), screen was back to cracked after only 3 months of use.
