When we tried to get updates, they told us they would charge $10 for phone updates and $25 if we came in person -- while they were holding our computer and not providing updates on their own. Eventually, they said it needed a new logic board. We agreed to a refurbished replacement for $616.72. When we got the computer back, it was completely unusable. It showed an activation lock tied to a different Apple ID. Apple later confirmed the logic board they installed had been reported as STOLEN. So to be clear: * Nearly $800 charged * Weeks with no real updates * Tried to charge us just to ask for status * Installed a stolen part * Computer still unusable They refused to refund us. When we said we would dispute the charges, they replied: "That's your choice." We have since filed a police report and a complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. Avoid this place at all costs.

However be aware they don't have warranty for any physical damage (not sure what the point of even offering it is), screen was back to cracked after only 3 months of use. If I would've known that I would've just let Apple do the repair, so I suggest sometimes paying double the price is better if the repair will last you longer! Associates were very friendly though, and I did have a positive experience a couple months back when my iPhone charger broke off in the slot, they were able to remove it for me!
