My…read morehusband took a test in Dr. Strunk's office, and we were never alerted that they had an issue with our insurance until we were sent to claims. We were told that we could pay off the bill through the office, so we paid off rhe $400 slowly. We're a single income household, and we wanted to make it right to get his results. Fast forward to the bill being paid, and us calling at least 5 times, leaving messages, never hearing back about his test results. I called from my phone, and got someone on the line pretty quickly. I explained the situation, told her we had already spoken to his GP about us having permission to get his results. They tell me I need to fill out paperwork. Paperwork we've already done, taken to Strunk's office (signed by GP), and told we had to wait. The "lovely" receptionist then told me that the test was administered by a different doctor from Troy. We had to call him. This is the first time this doctor has ever been mentioned to us. Doctor in Troy had really helpful staff that was clear in letting us know that they had nothing to do with husband's test. His name nor birthdate exist in their systems. They called Strunk themselves and I still havent heard from Strunk's office. So they essentially took $400 from us and kept the results. Maybe this review will get them to call me back and pay us back.

Dr. Hornsby examined me. I told the woman that was supposed to assist me that they are not what I wanted, so she told me that they could substitute those with regular precription lens. All I had to do was wait until the replacement glasses came in and they would call me to bring in my own frames and the refit would take about an hour. Well, they did call me and they prepared the regular lens to fit my frame. When I sat down to try the glasses on, the same woman sat down accross from me and immediately accused me of cussing and told me that my conduct was not allowed in the store. I was totally shocked by her accusation and asked where that came from because I did not cuss at anyone at any time and she told me that 2 other employees heard me and told her. My wife was with me and she said I did not cuss at all. The woman then told me that the store has microphones and that she would listen to hear what I said. Well, she never got back to me on that and the new glasses are totally useless because when I put them on, everything was distorted and blurry. I told her that and she said that I just had to get used to them. Get used to them, have you ever had to get used to a pair of prescription glasses? I'm 87 years old and a retired, decorated U.S. Navy veteran and I have had dozens of prescription glasses in my life and never had to GET USED TO THEM. I also have never been treated so badly at any store in my entire life. The woman that said I was cussing and assisted me was very rude to say the least. She would not listen long enough for me to tell her what the problem was with the glasses. Now I'm out $533 and no glasses. I bought a pair of Walmart READERS for about $12 and can read and see better then what I got at this place. PLEASE, don't go to this store for anything.

At this writing (5/28/26) we are still trying to get a referral to see a cardiologist. He has been back to Fairview several times and each time has requested the referral. He and myself have called repeatedly and messaged on MyChart and called our Insurance company to see if a referral number has been requested or issued and it hasn't. My husband's heart rate has been under 50 since being discharged from hospital and his care team has been notified numerous times but nothing. This is a non-caring health team and I would not recommend them to anyone, even if I didn't like the person. I was promised that someone would give me a call before they left the office today and help me understand what is happening. But this also did not happen. If you care about your loved on or yourself you best not be a patient of this care team.

They were both very friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had. Dr. Ragan was nice to have as a doctor because he was quick and to the point - without feeling rushed. I actually drove an hour to every appointment because I liked Aventa so much the first time and wanted to go back to Flowers Hospital. The front staff for check in/ out is always super friendly as well and so are the lab techs !

He stated that he didn't draw any fluid and I could tell he went further than the cyst and deeper into my torn meniscus. The pain from this cyst was keeping me from being able to work so I used an insulin needle and drew out the fluid that Doctor Jennings was "unable" to draw out! His option was surgery. My option, with a smaller needle, provided the relief I needed. Brings me to one conclusion. Doctor Jennings only wanted to charge the insurance company more money for an unnecessary surgery.
