Omgosh! Do NOT go here please. What a disgrace for medical professionals to be involved in. At…read morefirst, all was good. Dr. searcy seemed knowledgeable, very competent and understanding. I do think he is. He laid out a plan, starting with steroid injections in my hands, which I wanted and agreed to. They informed me that I would be seeing the NP after my initial visit, which I expected. 2nd visit in RAN Regis. She is a sorry excuse for a medical professional, and a liar! She had not read the chart. She asked, what hurts in a hurry. In the past month I had COVID for 16 days, followed by a current Lupus flare and the ever present RA, which I explained and asked for a steroid dose pack to which she replied, we never prescribe steroids. Umm, ok??? Next thing I know I am being ushered out to be scheduled for an ablation for my neck, post 4 level cervical fusion in 2017. When I asked questions, she said they would give me a paper explaining, which it did not. Later after researching lead me to "oh hell no"! I then saw Dr Searcy in the hallway, he asked how I was, I quickly told him of the Lupus flare and need for a dose pack, told him Regis said never, looking puzzled he called in the RX for me?? Regis lies, she put me down for a very expensive procedure, which I canceled and scheduled the injection in my hand which Dr Searcy administered. I told him my thoughts. He replied that the NPs are their own providers there? They don't work for him and evidently not WITH HIM. The injection did more harm and NO good. I wonder what was on that syringe?? What a nightmare!!! DONT GO!

Run don't walk away from this place and never look back. If you are young and healthy and have…read moreinjured yourself and just need help getting over the injury then yes the cortisone injections and RF ablations can help you until your young healthy body heals its self. If you are older or have a degenerative condition such as spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease these treatments will do nothing and done too frequently can actually do more damage by accelerating the degeneration. FYI RF ablations started 100 years ago and then later started incorporating the scope to view what they were doing. Steroids use started in or around the late 1920s and early 30s by German doctors. Later they discovered that steroids are two basic types. One makes your muscles grow fast and can make you retain fluids. the second is basically cortisone which they discovered can reduce swelling but will do little else. The block they give give you to test before they will perform the ablation is lidocaine which will stop the pain for around 24 hours but can't be used long term or it will destroy the tissue. Pleas look all this up for yourself before paying them crazy money for 100 year old medicine just so they will give you the pain meds you need. Once they have bilked you for a few months demanding you get this "new technology treatment" or no meds they will send you a termination letter with no explanation saying they will no longer treat you. In other words they have your money so see you later sucker. I watched a doctor mock a poor woman who was in bad pain because he didn't know I was there to see it. Does that sound like compassion? When I complained about what I saw and their treatment plan for me I received a termination letter within three days. If you can possibly afford it go to Florida to any clinic other than Dynamic and get Stem Cell treatments followed by PRP injections. These will actually heal you!

Do not recommend this place at ALL. Went for botox, blonde up front was rude and never greeted me,…read morethen handed me a clipboard and said fill this out. Then the young blonde girl walked me back to room and she was nice but not professional. She started talking to another girl in the hall about the previous patient and even stated her name for all to hear and how she didn't like the way the ladies skin looked. Making fun of her. The dr was nice, way better than his staff. Get to checkout and have to deal with the rude one again. She handed me the card machine and said put card in and that was it. Rude. At checkout the y'all dark headed girl was talking to the young blonde in hallway and starts talking about another patient for all to hear. I walked out knowing 2 patients names and decided everyone would probably know I was there and thats a hippa violation. I called a friend that referred me awhile back and she told me that she stopped going when she found out the nurse there isn't really a nurse. I do not recommend this place. Better bureau will get a call.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been going to the CFP since 2009. He said I did not qualify for injections or any other invasive treatment for specific reasons. I left and went to another Dr who said that he could help me and he turned out to be a quack in trouble with the DEA so I went back to Herrick to get my medication that I have been on every day for 18 years, I was on 2. still didn't see Herrick but he sent his NP in there and tells me to choose one can't have both which I have been on for 10 plus years. so I did and with my body and brain being so used to it, of course it made me very sick with severe high bp and I am a 35 year Type 1 diabetic on a pump. So I called and told him and he said we can talk about it on your follow up NEXT MONTH. They know they are the only pain Drs around here and they use that against you. He got mad that I tried to go somewhere else and find some kind of help, so he punished me. He doesn't care about anything but money and treats you like a drug addict if you tell him, the pain Dr that you are in pain. I would strongly recommend anyone in this practice over Herrick because he is one petty individual to do someone that way who has been going there for 16 years. In other words run from him!!! My primary Dr was kind enough to help me, when he who is the pain Dr would not!!

He helped orchestrate the spinal with the anesthesiologists at the hospital for my C-section. He has always been very caring and compassionate each time I see him. I wouldn't see anyone else for this pain I deal with every day. His nursing staff is incredible too and always willing to help me.
