Dr. Ellis is my daughter's osteopathic physician who practices at the New Horizons Wellness Center. Although he is not a pediatrician, I found him to be a patient doctor who my daughter feels very comfortable with. The appointment did not involve a lot of waiting that we have experienced in other places. The receptionist was pleasant. The nurse was also very nice. Dr. Ellis took a proper amount of time talking to us about her medical history and doing the examination. I would recommend him to others looking for a local doctor.

I have left positive reviews for this hospital so, I expected better. He was sent to a room while I was in the restroom and no one called me to let me know. I didn't find out until I asked. He was sent to a room because a patient in worse condition came in. No problem, just tell me. I gave them my number 3 times. I get to the room and 3 nurses are attacking him at once, not bothering to talk to either of us or explain what was going on. I am a nurse so I am my husband's advocate. I told them to just tell him what they are doing or need to do. One nurse just grabbed his pants and started to take them off with no warning. He grabbed them and said what are you doing with my pants. Then she said he had to remove them for a heart cath. He said no problem, how about a heads up before you start grabbing me. I have serous back problems. They said he would be having the surgery the next morning, so he said go home because they promised to call if he went to surgery before I got there the next morning. My husband called me that night to tell me he had the cath and they put a Stent in, no one told me anything!!!! I was livid! I can't tell you what was done because I don't know until I take him for his followup.

First and foremost just the fact he worked me in was a plus for me. Second, he nailed immediately my issue in my chest as being my ribs out. An issue that I had been given muscle relaxers for by my primary six months ago. Who knew your ribs were up in your chest. I left there and within an hour I felt better and it still feels great. He told me when I got back home to try to see a chiropractor that can manipulate ribs ( apparently not all chiropractor's manipulate ribs) and do so for a month and I should be good to go. So, for an issue that I have been having to treat with meds, ice and even X-rays , I feel was addressed better in a matter of five minutes. Added bonus of Dr. Moore is he is about the sweetest , compassionate male I have ever met. Truly a gentleman the entire visit.
