He was trying to get her out of the hospital before they did her dialysis and he knew that the port would not work. He then denied what was said and when I called him out on it, he wanted to bring the cops involved. The man knows that he's a crooked doctor. I do not recommend him. I give him zero stars, and I hope that the hospital ends up getting rid of him. it seems like he just wanted my fiancé in the hospital for a paycheck. I have never in my life been treated so horrible as I was at First Med by Dr, Cook. This was my…read moresecond visit with him since I recently moved to the Dothan area and I waited over an hour for him while I heard him chit chatting with friends in the back! How I know this is my wife walked out to ask the nurse if he forgot about us and she replied with "If you want to go interrupt him talking to his friends please do. You have been waiting way too long." When he finally got in the room with me he asked me how I've been and I told him the truth. I was hurting from my ankylosing spondylitis. He replied with "There is nothing I can do to make you pain free. If you are going to have an attitude with me then you can just leave and go somewhere else!" I was in pain and simply said ok. The whole reason I went in to the doctor in the first place was intense stomach pains, not even for my AS! He never even asked about my stomach but rather shooed me out the door. When I confronted him about goofing off with his friends making me wait over an hour. He replied with, "You are no more important than those people. I've worked all week and I'm tired. If you don't like that then you don't need to ever come back here. All you want is narcotics!." WHAT!!!! I never asked for pain meds, EVER!!!! I have a script for morphine that I don't take because I work for a living and don't want to be a zombie. Needless to say, I will not refer him to my worst enemy. Don't waste your time with this quack!!! The nurse was sweet though.

I am greatfull to the staff in Southeast Health for finding and correcting a life threatening event (AAA) in the emergency room. Yes it took a long time for my exam because the amount of people in the ER . At no time in my 10 day stay was I ever not attended to with professionalism , excellent care and caring staff.
