i have been using Southern Bone and joint for years. Doctors and staff have been great!

Doctor Jonathan Jennings used, what I'm assuming was a 19-21 gauge needle to attempt to draw fluid out of a cyst on the side of my knee. He stated that he didn't draw any fluid and I could tell he went further than the cyst and deeper into my torn meniscus. The pain from this cyst was keeping me from being able to work so I used an insulin needle and drew out the fluid that Doctor Jennings was "unable" to draw out! His option was surgery. My option, with a smaller needle, provided the relief I needed. Brings me to one conclusion. Doctor Jennings only wanted to charge the insurance company more money for an unnecessary surgery. read more

Do not go to PA Thomas Vaugn if you are in pain. I cut the nerve in my right index finger and asked him for some pain relief while I await a surgery date. He flatly turned me down. He said "we don't have pain medication for nerve pain." First - what a fool. I have been taking Percocet for seven bad discs in my spine for years. I'm not an addict but I am in every day pain (they are also spine specialists). But he never asked me about my experience with pain. He just said "no" and tried to book another appointment. What a damned liar. Needless to say, I walked out without a word. I'll just leave these words here. Do NOT go here if you need help with pain. read more
