After another veterinarian dropped the ball with how much they "Care" the amazing folks at Southern Regional gave our puppy Samson new hope with a very successful hip surgery we were very pleased with every single aspect of this place and even after hours will be in contact if you need to know anything or are concerned how things are going while they have you pet for surgery. They called and checked on our pup even outside the normal customer care levels this place really does CARE about the work that they do but not only that they care about you and you pet during an unfortunate time for you all. SRVS took really great care of my baby after she got run over by a car. Dr. Martin and his staff are extremely friendly. Dr. Martin also had a very long intensive operation on my dog which I am very grateful how much time he spent on her in surgery to get her better. I called his office several times after surgery with questions and concerns that I had about post operative care and they were not annoyed at all with my many calls and very prompt on getting a response back to me if they needed to ask the doctor. Dr. Martin called to tell me that my sweet Loki passed away due to renal failure on July 23. I told him I would like to have him cremated. He asked if I would like a communal cremation or an individual cremation. I told him that I wanted an individual. I didn't hear back from them for almost TWO weeks. He called me today (August 5) to tell me that there had been a blunder and I would not be receiving Loki's ashes because they circled communal cremation on the paperwork rather than individual. They didn't try to right any of their wrongs and didn't sound too apologetic when they told me their mistake. They still made sure to get their $1400, though, while I have nothing left of my dog. read more

Please do not use this place! They will kill your pet! I brought my dog in for an emergency. Everyday we visited him and everyday the techs would tell us he was still vomiting but the doctor would tell us he hasn't vomited at all. He stayed for three nights. The day they discharged him the doctor stated he had not vomited for 24 hours and he was drinking a nutritional shake when offered so he needed to go home. Within 10 minutes of being at home he vomited and continued to vomit all night. We took him to our regular vet as soon as they opened. They told us he had pancreatitis and we are lucky he is still alive. Come to find out the "emergency" clinic never re did his labs as requested and when questioned about this their excuse was that the doctor is an orthopedic vet. If that's the case why the hell does an orthopedic vet have an after hours emergency vet clinic! He obviously doesn't know how to treat sick dogs. So after a 2000 dollar bill I ended up having to take my dog to my regular vet and he has been there for 4 days now and thank god they are trying as hard as possible to save his life. read more
