I was given thorough explanation on the tooth, the anatomy of the tooth as well as the function of the nerves. Great care was given to insure my comfort and well being throughout this process. The third visit was for a cleaning and a crown. Again the cleaning was excellent. Kudos to his dental hygienist. That's the only nice thing I can say about the visit. Taking off my crown was pure pain. I beat on the chair with both arms trying to let him know he was hurting me but he never let up. He never apologized. Not one dang word! I am so angry with him that I will never go back to that office even though I would love to have his dental hygienist clean my teeth but I won't give him the satisfaction or any more of my money. Well, that time came around again. They had to start by doing xrays & a cleaning in order to give a proper evaluation. I told them I needed to be gassed if they were going to do any probing, scraping, drilling, in my mouth. They didn't judge me, make me feel bad for letting it get to this point, etc. They built the sedation and gas into my bill for every visit [ended up needing 7 total for all the work I had to have done, I just finished the 2nd one today] & I thought I was going to have to have 4 false teeth put in but they told me they could do a different, cheaper, method instead. Everyone from billing department to dental assistant to dentist are so incredibly friendly. I couldn't be happier & my fear of the dentist is beginning to subside. Yay!

Dr. Barnes was recommended to me by Nikki Johnson Henderson. (My girl Dixie) She could not have been more spot on for what I was looking for in a GREAT dentist and team of professionals to look after me. I was extremely nervous and embarrassed because I had let things go. Now back on track, at ease and feeling very comfortable with great care received at this establishment. Jessica, the hygienist, could not have been more caring and gentle and went to great lengths to explain everything in detail. Dr. Barnes is a real gentleman and will take great care of you. Miranda, the receptionist also went to great lengths to write everything down and explain everything in detail.
