Was told by receptionist that they do not do extractions. Ummm...what? Website states emergency services available...including EXTRACTIONS! Receptionist said I need to call an oral surgeon. Receptionist didn't get my name, what tooth was causing issues...nothing. So I called Metro Oral Surgery. They did not have an appt until the end of the month (today is May 7) and surgery not available until June. Surgery? I just need a tooth pulled. I asked what am I supposed to do about the pain. She said "I don't know. Call Dixieland Dental" who does not accept insurance and it's cash only. I called Foundation Dental and have an appt tomorrow. Dothan Dental...you just lost a patient!

We have been to other dentists in this area, who seem nice but ultimately try to overcharge or provide unnecessary services. The office staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is set up so the kids look forward to coming here. I was expecting much worse news than I received. After an EXTENSIVE cleaning on my teeth they only discovered 2 small cavities. We scheduled an appointment a few weeks out to take care of that and I happily showed off my gleaming white teeth to everyone I saw. When I was scheduled to come back the black ice storm of 2014 had hit Crestview. The receptionist called me from her own house to let me know they were closed that day and rescheduled me further out. I was surprised they took the time to let me know considering how bad the weather was that day. When I arrived to have the cavities taken care of I only had to wait in the waiting room about 8 minute before they took me in. Upon further inspection of my teeth it was found that one of my old fillings had come loose and a small cavity had formed underneath it. They went ahead and knocked out all 3 of the cavities in one visit to save time for me. They even used pediatric strength numbing agents to keep me comfortable. I have a MASSIVE fear of dentists from childhood and it was nice that Dr. Wayer and her staff did an excellent job of keeping me calm and numbing me properly so as to prevent pain during my visit. I would highly recommend them BUT not recommend waiting 18 years before your next visit!!

Did not offer bone grafting for better support of a 4 post implant (guaranteed 2 post). Equipment/product malfunctions that were slow to scan and sent all white dentures. Staff (nice for the most part, finance only nice, when you sign up) has to keep running to doctor for answers. Doctor availability, seems to take a lot of vacations. Makes you sign, when products are not fully together, validating they fit well.

The front desk staff are smiling and friendly, the office is clean and bright, full of toys and happy pictures on the wall for kids. In the treatment room, there are comfortable chairs for parents to sit in, big rooms with private bathrooms. My dental insurance would require me to drive 40 miles to another state for my son to see a pediatric dentist. Not doing that. So glad my friends told me about this place. All online reviews rave about this place. We were early, waited only 3 minutes to be brought back, were seen early, two helpers to explain everything and the dentist gave him laughing gas, painted on the numbing cream, put in the lidocaine shots without my son even knowing, wedged the two rotten molars loose and used the pliers to pull them both out, placed the clotting medicated dissolving dot in the holes and put gauze in there. All in about 10 minutes. Very impressive. Our appt was scheduled for 9:30, we went back around 9:11 and everything was done at 9:34. Amazing. No pain ever for my son. He needed extra laughing gas and lidocaine. I think cause he's red headed. That's a thing. She listened to him and gave him extra so he wouldn't have pain at all. My son isn't traumatized at all. I'm so incredibly happy with the whole process. Front desk sends electronic super bill to your insurance for you so you don't have to do it. This place is AMAZING!!

She had a fused tooth, which is two teeth together. She sat down & explained everything in detail, even drawing for me so I understood better. So cool & informative on a first visit. They are great!
