Receptionist didn't get my name, what tooth was causing issues...nothing. So I called Metro Oral Surgery. They did not have an appt until the end of the month (today is May 7) and surgery not available until June. Surgery? I just need a tooth pulled. I asked what am I supposed to do about the pain. She said "I don't know. Call Dixieland Dental" who does not accept insurance and it's cash only. I called Foundation Dental and have an appt tomorrow. Dothan Dental...you just lost a patient!

Perhaps the quality care, is why I never needed something more than a cleaning!! While it is hard to rate a trip to ANY dentist very high, Dr. Nowell and his team were always top notch. I never recall waiting in the lobby for very long. And his hygienists were friendly, efficient, and pleasant. And for the most part, they never changed and stayed in his office for years. Something I thought was pretty normal until I started going other places. If you are in Dothan and in need of a dentist, you wouldn't get a recommendation for anyone else.
