I have recently returned myself for evaluation for either a root canal or extractions. I had an emergency that my dentist of 23 years would NOT fit me in for. The temp. crown that dentist put on came off & he would neither call in an antibio or fit me in for an x-ray to determine if I could keep the tooth or have it removed. They had previously referred me to an endodontist, but it would be a month until I could get in. Dr. Scott's front desk staff made me an appt for 2 weeks but kept me on a cancellation list & called me the next day. His front desk staff is FANTASTIC, & DR. Scott is very pleasant & has an amazing knowledge of meds & physiology. I recognized this due to my 35 years in medicine. I highly recommend him.In addition,his cash pricing is very reasonable!

Dr. Heitzmann found an issue that needed surgery to correct and scheduled the surgery but then later his staff told me that he cancelled it. He never talked with me directly about it and instead had his staff contact me to state he had lost "trust" whatever that meant and that I needed to find someone else to do the surgery. He seemed very nervous about the surgery when I met with him so perhaps he didn't trust his skills and ability in fixing the issue. I can only guess since he didn't show me the courtesy of reaching out personally and instead had his staff do it for him, and they provided no further details. I had to go to another doctor and pay for another consultation but luckily I found a highly skilled surgeon in Miramar that was very confident and performed excellent work. I cannot recommend Dr. Heitzmann, as his lack of courtesy and respect for patients is evident. When seeking medical care, choose a surgeon who embodies confidence, compassion, and consideration - qualities that Dr. Heitzmann did not demonstrate.

However instead of any work they performed an exam and took more expensive xrays then had the nerve to refer my daughter down the road to an dentist that does pediatric dentist. I didn't bring her here to just get another referral and pay them good money for a wasted trip.

Safe to say that no dentist in Sweden holds a candle to Dr Fitzgerald's care. Not only does he have advanced training, the techniques provided included the latest advancements in dentistry (such as retrieving blood to extract plasma to speed up healing), something that seems to be a continuous priority to ensure the best care possible -- but his extraordinary skill and warm demeanor is a dream come true, especially in the field of dentistry. When we arrived for the consultation Dr Fitzgerald managed to re-arrange his schedule to accommodate immediate removal, given our travel schedule. As thing after thing arose, Dr Fitzgerald remained warm, steadfast and made everyone feel so seen and so special and so safe (no small feat in this situation juggling other patients behind the scenes). We were truly in the best hands possible as it turned out. The post-surgery care was equally top notch, with a follow up check in, additional pain meds and a follow up appointment.
