Dr. Ellis is my daughter's osteopathic physician who practices at the New Horizons Wellness Center. Although he is not a pediatrician, I found him to be a patient doctor who my daughter feels very comfortable with. The appointment did not involve a lot of waiting that we have experienced in other places. The receptionist was pleasant. The nurse was also very nice. Dr. Ellis took a proper amount of time talking to us about her medical history and doing the examination. I would recommend him to others looking for a local doctor.

No return call. 1 day shy of waiting 6 weeks I have to call again and both receptionists lie to me about what's taking so long since they were clueless. 6 weeks to the day the office manager informs me after contacting the outsourced lab my child's orthotics are indeed lost and have been lost since LAST MONTH. My child now has to wait for a new patient appointment at a different Podiatrist and for their turn around time for orthotics. I started this February 2022 and now my child won't have them until at least May 2022. This entire situation is unprofessional, clearly the office needs to be retrained and develop a better tracking system so their patients aren't bringing lost products to their attention.

I feel that he is genuinely concerned about what I feel my problems are and is going to do everything in his power to provide the best care that I need. With all of the packing and cleaning activities occurring prior to the drive, I knew I'd need an adjustment once we made the trek to Alabama from Connecticut. I had originally scheduled an appointment for the day after we arrived. However, I was eager to get in sooner to relieve my aches and pains and they accommodated me. I was on the table 2 hours after we rolled into town. I saw Dr. Garrett Hall. He went over my history going back to the 90's when the back & neck problems began. He took X-rays and then sent me into the therapy room where Hatton took over. She applied heat and then hooked my upper & lower back up to a tens unit. Once that was done, I was sent to a small waiting area in the therapy room. After waiting maybe 5 minutes, I was taken to the treatment room. Dr. Hall used a table that flexes down and stretched my back comfortably. During this process, Dr. Hall was hands' on feeling around on my back and finding the things that needed adjusting. He found them quickly. Before my adjustment, Dr. Hall talked to me about the types of adjusting he wanted do and asked if I was comfortable with that or if I preferred another way. I have neck issues and asked to have my neck adjusted with an activator. He was happy to oblige my request. I had some inflammation after the adjustment of course. I had things out of place for several days before I could get adjusted. My recovery time for feeling normal was much quicker than usual. Once everything settled down, in less than 24 hours after my appointment, I was 100% pain free for the first time in decades! And this was from my very first visit with Dr. Hall. If you are looking for a really good chiropractor to help with chronic back or neck pain, Dr. Garrett Hall is your man. He is personable and extremely knowledgeable. He also does adjustments and provides care for pregnant women. The staff here is very friendly, helpful and caring. They get to know their patients. One of the staff members was holding a patients' baby while she got adjusted during my last visit. Alicia gave me a good overview of the pricing structure here for self-pay patients like myself. The price won't go above $50 and is based off of how many regions of your body are adjusted during your visit. 1-2 regions $29 3-4 regions $38.50 5 regions $46.67 If you are ready to be free of back and/or neck pain, Dr. Garrett Hall is the man for the job! Your care is not limited to the back and neck. I sometimes need adjustments for my feet and knees. He takes care of those too. They have a very large parking lot and a spacious waiting room. The wait times are short. Dr. Hall has never made me feel rushed when I'm talking about anything that may have caused me to need an adjustment or throughout the time he is adjusting me.

EDIT Today August…read more17th, 29 days after my surgery, I received a call from this office. I did not answer so I am unsure the reason for the call. I assume it's to check up on the well being of a patient after having surgery. Too little too late in my opinion. Especially since I did have complications in connection with the surgery and the care before surgery by Dr Nunnally and his staff, but I did not feel welcomed to go to this office for help because of the above review. Thankfully like stated above, I have a new doctor that prescribed a new medication for my complication. --------------- Dr. Nunnally and his staff were unprofessional from start to finish. (Staff at SAMC were fantastic). I was scheduled for a tonsillectomy which turned into a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. I did not find out that my adenoids would be removed until I was in pre op, 5 minutes before being wheeled into the operating room. I was given incorrect information for medication dosages due to me breast-feeding which left me in more pain than necessary. I was told I needed to choose between breast-feeding and pain, which is incorrect. I was also told by the nurse that they don't do follow-ups because there's no point in me coming all the way in just to shine a light down my throat but that they would call 2 weeks later to check on me. I am 3 weeks post op and have received no such call. I ended up finding a new doctor to do my follow up and I couldn't be more happy. Would not recommend this doctor.

Was told by receptionist that they do not do extractions. Ummm...what? Website states emergency services available...including EXTRACTIONS! Receptionist said I need to call an oral surgeon. Receptionist didn't get my name, what tooth was causing issues...nothing. So I called Metro Oral Surgery. They did not have an appt until the end of the month (today is May 7) and surgery not available until June. Surgery? I just need a tooth pulled. I asked what am I supposed to do about the pain. She said "I don't know. Call Dixieland Dental" who does not accept insurance and it's cash only. I called Foundation Dental and have an appt tomorrow. Dothan Dental...you just lost a patient!
