If you prefer the big llc / corp without personality, reasoning, advise, respect, basically to treat you like any other person without personalizing the experience, Hamid isn't your guy. As for those who read the bad comments on his page, need to be upfront with expectations. When meeting Hamid and discussing what I would like done which was installing a ceiling fan, adding outlets to areas for microwave and dishwasher, installing recessed lights (14) and 3 ceiling lights, and upgradings from a small panel to a much larger one, and lastly going from 100 amps to 200 service, I knew it was a big job and it would take some time. When he tells you to work with him, then that's what you do if you're prepared for it. We were upfront with what we needed and so was he. Other electric companies put you on hold with an answering service. I called him on a Sunday while doing a light fixture on my own and he picked up. No waiting, quick response to text or call. He also advised and taught me a few things. This means that he is the type to Wal you through it if you can tackle a small task and save money. Not to mention the quality of work, A+. I would recommend him to anyone. I thank you Hamid, as well as my family. We will be in contact soon.

I've had him come in and do 3 separate projects, an electrical light socket issue, a install on a new flood light, and a remove of a ceiling fan/install of 6 new recessed lights. Ironically enough each job was in increasing complexity from the other; in all cases, he came on time, was clean, and was fair on his price and recommendations.

This was an upgrade from 100amp to 200amp service, which required new grounding rods, a new meter box outside, a new service wire from the meter to the load center and a new load center. Of course there was a lot of labor to disentangle the romex cables from the old load center and install them in the new load center. We only were out of power for a few hours. Todd is a modern contractor, he actually uses email :) I'm happy with the result and definitely recommend his service.

We had been looking for a electrician we could always go to. Always helps to have someone to cover…read moreevery trade you may own when you have a home. So my wife found BMSE Electrical. While the initial work that he did was fine, the service afterwards leads us to that we can't possibly recommend them for electric work. We asked Brian to wire our living room from our office with cat5 as we had a need for a wired connection. He installed the wire and on the surface, it looked fine. When it didn't function properly, repeated emails and calls to Brian were yessed to death and left hanging. He even lied to say he stopped by our house and left a business card. I eventually diagnosed the problem that he wired the cat5 incorrectly as a crossover cable. Once I relayed this to him, still, he continued to blow me off. I even offered $10 for him to stop by when he was in the area to correct the job he had done wrong and he STILL didn't come. In the end, a friend recommended a crossover cable adapter ordered online and that fixed the problem (as 2 crossovers equals standard ethernet, so the adapter canceled out the crossover effect). So, after 4 months of trying to get Brian back here, I fixed the problem myself, at my own cost. Now, the cable has stopped working altogether and I have no reason not to believe it wasn't the poor job he did installing it. For that reason, I cannot recommend them for your electrical needs.

Kiwi Electric ripped me off. I lost power in half my house. Kiwi came the next day and determined…read morethe problem was with the power line after testing the circuit box. Had the electrician stopped there and accepted payment, I would have been satisfied with the service. Instead, the electrician pulled off the meter to check the voltage there and got a ladder and cut the incoming power lines (including the one that was still working) to run up a larger bill and left that mess for the utility company to repair. The lesson I learned is to call the utility company first. Their repairman came hours later and was angry at the job that Kiwi did because the problem could have been fixed at the utility pole without ever cutting the power lines to the house. Always call the utility company first and an electrician if the utility worker finds that the problem isn't on their end of the power distribution.
