The playground area is fairly large with multiple slides and bridges connecting all of the monkey bars and play areas. There are three large covered picnic table areas equipped with grills and four sets of tables each. During our visit, there was a large kids birthday party happening in one of the patios and they had plenty of space for corn hole, gifting table, and a piñata set up. Highly recommend if you appreciate gardening, architecture, art, engineering etc. They also did a great job of reminding me of my appointment and following up afterwards. The gardens were built in an unexpected park of Fresno and these is a lot of history behind them. Parking was somewhat difficult but once you enter, the staff were very kind, organized, and positive. Our tour guide Raul was super sweet and provided a lot of history regarding the gardens and the family who built them. Raul had my 3 young boys engaged and interested. He answered all my questions and was so open to conversation. You could tell Raul was proud to be there telling all of us how the Gardens came to be. The Gardens are very interesting. I've never seen anything quite like these. The smell of all the citrus trees combine with the natural cooling underground was amazing and made the tour comfortable. If you have any time i do recommend visiting these secret gardens.

There is plenty of space for it. City of Selma, please notice!! They offer a cool little snack bar which consists of locals fundraising for their organization. Restrooms are a little difficult as well. Kinda remind me of the ones at The Pismo Beach Pier. Enter at your own risk and take some napkins with you just in case and some hand sanitizer. The public is lucky they installed doors in each unit :/

I don't believe overnight camping is allowed, but you can book one of their grilling and table areas for your party. The lake itself is small and only allows "earth boats" on the water. I have no idea what an earth boat is, maybe it's just a hollowed out log? There is a "beach" area for swimming and suntanning, but the water sadly had a lot of trash in it and wasn't very inviting, even with the 100'+ temps during our visit. This lake/park area has two jungle gym play areas for the kiddos and a few older soccer goals with no nets. The cost is only $5 to enter and $40 for an annual pass. Currently, they're open until 10pm for the summer, but close at 7pm starting on October 1st for the winter season.

We spent about 3 or so hours playing & exploring. It's really meant for younger ages,probably up until about 10-11. My son is going to be 11 next week & loved it because he loves dinosaurs, digging & science. Not sure i would go out of my way to go back, only because we don't live locally but if we lived in fresno I would consider getting a membership. They have a lot of great programs throughout the week which would be great for school field trips or homeschooling co-ops.
