This rink brings me back to my childhood. It's, of course, outdoors, and super cheap with a Groupon (under $20 total, for two, with a Groupon). That price also includes the skate rental, which are readily available in all sizes. At the rink, they have music playing, and people of all ages on the ice. Although, the times I've visited, I've mainly seen younger teenagers and kids on the ice. About an hour into free skate, if the weather is warm, the rink can get a little soft and icy, but that's what you expect with an outdoor rink. The rink can get crowded at times and a lot of people tend to gather on towards the one entrance/exit. The inside ticket area offers no refreshments, vending machines or even water fountain, so come prepared and hydrated. They do have lockers, but you pay every time you open them (quarters only), so plan accordingly. Parking is easy and people are coming and going all fay, so even on the Sunday before Christmas, I was easily able to find a spot. The staff here seems to be mainly high school students, who are attentive and very friendly. Overall, a great way to spend some time outdoors in the winter.

That was in 2021. I returned another time and parents were just throwing their kids in the rink to tire them out because they didn't want to deal with them. The rink is old and dated and has been for years. Don't expect it to change. Like all other dates rinks, the food is overpriced chuck e cheese slop. It feels like when I was in middle and high schooI. I suggest eating before coming here. I also recommend buying your own skates as rentals are not only gross but not safe. Put that $5 back in your pocket. The music is like top 40 stuff and some old school music for the old and experienced folks. I skated on and off from middle school to summer camps and church groups. Pushing 40 and out of shape but I regained confidence. Sometimes it's not the rink itself, it's the people. It was a very chill Sunday that wasn't too crowded. if you're nostalgic or you just want a good workout, it's good. But if you're expecting a modern 2025 skating rink with today's music and gen z'ers and alphas, it's not gonna happen.

This place is truly a rip off and they don't even invest their money well because it looks like a war zone location from the outside. It has probably never been updated from whenever they first opened decades ago. Miserable place.

It wasn't that busy…read morewhich was great and we picked a 4-5:30pm slot hoping to catch sun down being nestled in the mountains. Thankfully it was warmish for this time of year as I was afraid being in the mountains we would be freezing. It is $5 to get in to park your car which is totally fine. Not only do you have access to the ice-skating rink area but you can also hike locally and explore the surroundings. You were literally inside of a mountain range so if you like walking and exploring it is all there for you. Gorgeous area! It is $5 to enter the ice skating area and $10 to rent the skates. I feel that is reasonable getting an hour and a half worth of time and not feeling over powered by a crowd... I was definitely digging it. I have not been ice-skating for at least 10 years. The last time was at Chelsea Piers in New York City which was a totally different vibe. I enjoyed myself I can see returning throughout the winter. Everyone we dealt with from when we initially entered the park to helping us with the purchase of tickets and assisting with the rentals were pleasant. I'm guessing local college students. There were several employees on the ice as well and I saw them helping out when kids and adults were falling. They weren't extra but they weren't unpleasant so happy to have them there to help us. Glad I tried out this place and looking forward to future memories here.

Even though I live in the city, it felt great to get out and enjoy the nice weather for once…read moreinstead of hiding indoors like some true New Yorkers. My friend was in town and told me about a DJ playing at a roller skating rink, and suddenly I was transported back to the era when roller rinks ruled the City. So we went, both of us pretending we were twenty years younger. When I got off the train in Bushwick, the neighborhood hit me with all the color, murals, and creative energy like it was trying to convince me to move there immediately. It was semi-loud, bright, artistic, and basically screamed welcome to Brooklyn. At the rink, I filled out the waiver on my phone, showed it to the staff, and rented skates for seven dollars. Considering I had not roller skated in many years, I probably should have signed a second waiver promising not to sue if I fell dramatically. But once I put those skates on, the nostalgia kicked in. Back in the day, New York had roller rinks everywhere. Now they are rare, so seeing this place alive and buzzing made me root for it instantly. The rink itself is not massive, but it is big enough to make you feel confident and terrified at the same time. The crowd was a mix of beginners clinging to the rail like it was a lifeline and pros gliding around like skating versions of Michael Jackson. Meanwhile I was in the middle lane praying I would not become the next viral wipeout video. The opening DJ was decent, but the headlining DJ never really materialized. Maybe he was invisible. Maybe he was on a coffee break. Maybe he was spiritually mixing from another dimension. Either way, I was a little disappointed. Music is a big part of the experience and if the DJ is not matching the vibe, it's like dancing with no rhythm. At one point, as a former pro DJ, I even thought about asking for the manager so I could apply for my own DJ set. I mean, how hard could it be? All jokes aside, I had a really good time. My friend and I laughed, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. I would definitely recommend this place. I have only been once, but I will absolutely go back again, hopefully with better music and fewer near-death skating experiences. Photos coming soon!

I've skated here twice (Autumn and Spring) and enjoyed myself BOTH times…read more I own quad skates, so that $15 rental fee is not a factor. If you do rent, the two-toned suede skates are cute. I believe the electronic locker is $5 and fit 2 jackets, shoes and smaller bags. There was plenty of booth and bench seating near the wide bar and around the edges of the rink. The spacious bathroom is well stocked. The service from the bar was prompt and pleasant. My favorite things were the salmon nachos and coconut water. The surface of the skating floor is smooth, and provide a comfy skating experience even for less frequent/ unseasoned skaters. The center of the floor is dedicated to learners and tricks. At times the stage is accessible for shenanigans & live shows/ DJs. The floor can be very contested on more popular night and sor special events, which less than ideal for faster skaters and easy maneuvering around folks. This is a welcome indoor activity that is weather proof and I approve.
