I went here for the opening of a new exhibit called the World of Bees last night, as I am loosely…read moreconnected to the creator of said exhibit. While I don't have any children and this place is pretty much irrelevant to me living in Brooklyn, I feel my different perspective could be helpful to parents and educators in the area. As it was an exhibit opening, we heard short speeches from and interacted with the people behind this organization and space. They are some pretty amazing and very passionate people. Their dedication to creating a fun and engaging space where children (and adults) can learn about the wonders of nature is extremely noble. They deserve your attention and your children deserve the educational tools they offer. I should also mention that the bee exhibit is pretty awesome. I am not much of a 'scientist' so I learned a lot of interesting facts about bees. It is put together beautifully and is highly interactive. They even made little bee costumes, so the kids will be able to dress up and act out the parts of different types of bees. The exhibit, along with supplemental information from conversations with people who take bees very seriously, also provided me with an opportunity to do some critical thinking about how human beings interact with the natural world and the unintended or ignored consequences of our actions. In summary, don't bee stupid! Take your kids to this wonderful little learning center. The television will still be there buzzing when you get home.

This nature center has better than average educational programming, to be sure. Although, honestly,…read morethe plot of land isn't exactly the best. They have great people and very nice facilities, however. Thier curriculum is ongoing, designed to follow the seasons and have it be a continuous learning experience across student's grades.

We were shocked to find out that our son knows basic sign language! The teachers at Primrose are amazing and will keep you up to date with your child's progress and daily activities complete with photos throughout the day, that was a really nice touch for parents getting back to work after the pandemic and seriously missing our kids faces! The food they serve the kids is balanced and varied so even picky eaters will learn to appreciate and try new foods. Our son will miss Primrose as he enters kindergarten but I feel his time there has set him up to be ahead of his peers in terms of academics, and he's also learned valuable social skills that he will need to navigate the complex relationships of public school. All in all we give Primrose an A+, they really thought this through and created a great preschool program.

I like overall this place. Teachers are great. However,…read morethey have gone crazy with the prices. Not only they have an annual "registration" fee on top of your very high, well above average fee, they also increase fees 10% annually. They are trying to upsale... constantly. Talking to the kids about all these pricy extra activities that happen at the same time they are there: yoga class, cooking class... I'm already paying 3k a month... why do I need to pay for activities while my kids are there?

The indoor is large and well-lite as well as the horses have good turn-out. In addition, there are dressage letters although sometimes certain people don't want to use the aids they have at their facility. The barn is very clean and there are many horses as well as a field for cross-country jumping and a good outdoor ring. Also they will help you tack and untack. The trainers take cash, some major credit cards, checks and of course traveler's checks. I don't know about Apple Pay. Some of the grooms are very good guys who speak English and Spanish. However, one trainer thinks you can text and drive so that isn't a good thing (you should know better). They also have handicapped parking that is reassuring to see.

Show vibe, kids, especially in the Summer, and horses are well cared for. They tack and untack well, a nice perk. Few adults. No lounge, or social area for the kids. But if you just want a convenient picturesque place to ride and keep your horse, you could do worse. The place is safe, with a rustic vibe. Stalls in various sizes spread over several barns. Tack rooms average, but some room for trunks. Grooms are nice and know what they are doing. Vets and farriers there pretty much weekly.
