However, The Sentimentalist called me on October 8th to let me know it arrived at their shop! I was so excited! Since I was out of town, I booked an appointment for October 15th, requesting to be paired with Lauren again if possible. I parked and headed inside for my 12PM appointment. The associate at the counter got me checked in, asked if I wanted anything to drink, and seated me in my room. Soon, I was met by a smiling and sweet Lauren! She had arranged her schedule to make sure she could be there with me today. She guided me to where my gown was hanging and prepped for me, and stood right outside the curtain in case I needed assistance. When I came out and looked in the mirror, I was so pleased. I had brought my veil and shoes with me for the full effect, and Lauren had even kindly boxed my veil up for me and packed it in a nice tote bag, since I had brought it in all wound up inside the shipping bag it had come in in. It's the little things that really mean so much. Lauren, as well as the other stylists who peered around the corner to see me in my dress and offer kind words, made me feel so beautiful. I am so grateful for all of their help throughout the process of getting me my perfect wedding dress! I am absolutely thrilled with it and can't wait to wear it on the big day! I can't thank Lauren and the team at The Sentimentalist enough! They are truly the best!

I would strongly caution anyone against using Bridal Sense for alterations. My experience was…read morenothing short of a nightmare. They completely botched what was supposed to be a minor alteration and ties for a French bustle incorrectly. When I tried on the dress, the poor workmanship was glaringly obvious. When I attempted to explain the issues, the staff there were dismissive and rude, treating my concerns as if I was making them up. They left me standing there alone with the dress while they attended to other customers, despite knowing I had a scheduled appointment. To make matters worse, my dress was dirty and unpressed at final pick-up, contrary to what had been agreed. I had to seek out another tailor to fix their shoddy work which was immediately noticeable to them, which caused unnecessary stress and expense just two days before my wedding day! I did send an email requesting a refund for the failed alterations in an attempt to resolve this directly, but have yet to receive any response from anyone at the shop. I cannot recommend Bridal Sense for alterations--they clearly lack professionalism, skill, and customer care.

Fun, low pressure, it wasn't busy. I didn't find my dress but it was a good experience overall. My second appointment was terrible. I knew more about stock, pricing, brands and styles than my stylist. She wasn't particularly interested in being helpful and actually wandered off for a while during our 1 hr appointment (both rude & unprofessional) leaving my girlfriend to help me in and out of dresses (and even clipping me in) The third time I didn't have an appointment and was there sort of on a whim (was shopping at Anthro and had some extra time on my hands-decided to do some bridesmaids research) I went in and started looking around. There wasn't an appointment in progress and wasn't one for a few hours so they helped me out and it was a fantastic experience. I tried on almost everything I wanted to. But that's was luck. Otherwise I would say this location is pretty small and a bit loud due to its proximity to the Anthro store and their fitting rooms (it is inside of the store and located sort of in front of the fitting rooms). You will be changing the the Anthro fitting rooms, there's not a separate area for brides. It also seems smaller than other locations (I've been to one other in NYC a few years prior to my engagement season) so they have less stock on hand to see in person than what other locations may have. I think your experience can vary so much here based on who your stylist is and how busy Anthro is which.

I'd go to battle for this woman. I think I had around 11 appointments with her total? Which is absurd. She was able to work around my travel-heavy job, addressed every little concern or question I had, and gave me the most perfect dress that I could have ever hoped for. I could not be happier with the end result, we ended up going down quite a few sizes or so from the original and it still looks like the dress I bought, just one that's been custom fitted to me. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. Janae helped us first and she was wonderful. Darion also stepped in, and together they went above and beyond anything we expected. After seeing our inspiration photo, Janae became excited about helping us create the look. Darion began researching whether a green velvet jacket could be found. At first it appeared unavailable, but he kept looking until he located a green velvet jacket with a black satin peak lapel. He even contacted the manufacturer directly and confirmed that one was available in their warehouse. They called us the very next morning, we placed the order, and when we picked it up the jacket fit perfectly. What we thought would be renting a black tuxedo turned into owning the perfect green velvet jacket for prom. Even while assisting another customer who needed several fittings and a lot of attention, Janae and Darion still made us feel like we had their full focus. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and care made the entire experience memorable. Because of Janae and Darion, this will absolutely be our first stop for any future formalwear needs. I tried on so many stunning dresses, and the care, honesty, and enthusiasm they brought to each one made the experience feel truly special. What stood out most was how far they went to make sure I felt supported. They stayed later than they had to on a Friday evening while closing, never once making me feel rushed. I came to this appointment solo without my bridal squad, and yet I never felt alone. If you are looking for a previous sample at a discount, their outlet is absolutely worth checking out, and I am sure their made to order gowns upstairs are just as stunning. If you are in a time crunch, I cannot recommend their in store samples enough, especially with seamstresses on staff who truly know how to make each dress work beautifully and efficiently. While I ultimately found my dress the next day somewhere else, I cannot stop thinking about how positive, thoughtful, and memorable this experience was. If you want a bridal salon that truly listens, is honest, understands your vision, and treats you like you matter, this is the perfect stop.

Where to start... I have to say, The customer service is by far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. The sales structure is the same as purchasing a car. In a nut shell my Fiance was talked into buying a dress right then and there. 3 hours when I got home. My fiance was sad, and told me that she bought "the dress" but she wasn't in love with it. Since there wasn't a dress that wowed my fiance. A "lovely" Lady, Jessica figured that they could piecemeal a dress for my fiance. Basically my fiance bought a dress that she was not in love with. We tried to call and cancel the order within 3 hours of the purchase since the store was called. So we had to wait until the next day to cancel the order. Well that did not go over well. According to them in less than 12 hour time frame, they already started making the dress in China. So yeah they informed that the dresses are made in china. Anyway, After an all day bout with management they agreed to issue a refund, however they feel they are entitled to keep $250. I ended up disputing this with my bank. Basically in a nut shell I never received the $250 and they basically STOLE $250. However it is a special day for a Bride, for there wedding when they purchase a dress. The dress purchase experience with them was horrific. I know they will read this review, for Amanda M. of Winnie Couture... I will get the $250 back one way or another. BEWARE of this Store. There are many other options in the city. Winnie Couture is High pressure dress sales boutique similar to a car purchase. It is a high pressure sales environment. On the way out, they offer you a discount since the dresses are too expensive and tell you that you wont be able to get this discount once you leave. So they attempt to make you feel obligated to buy now. That is not how a wedding dress purchase should go. RUN RUN away. read more

My husband Justin and I have had a happy marriage since we chose Winnie Couture. I actually visited many other bridal shops before going to Winnie, but they don't compare, I tell you! The store for me has a lovely aesthetic and a good ambience which is awesome. I really had a difficult time finding THE dress in Atlanta after going through almost all of them, so I'm overjoyed to have found Winnie Couture. I got there with a friend and my family, and they all welcomed us. When we went, there was another bride, but they did their best to accommodate everyone, which I think is a plus. When it comes to customer service, their team is superb; they were always respectful and friendly to me and my family. The bridal stylist was exceptionally nice and put me at ease during our visit. She also patiently helped me find my dress though I had shown her a wedding gown that I liked, and she's pulling extra gowns that I thought were great and offered me similar design concepts! She helped me choose the perfect dress for my figure. Their attitudes prove a genuine enthusiasm for their work, which always makes me happy. They were able to keep my journey with them exciting and pleasant rather than stressful a I thought it would be. For these reasons, I give 5 stars for their awesome job and service. I strongly recommend them to brides who are unsure about what to wear. Winnie Couture in general knew how to boost the uniqueness of your wedding day with their gowns. I went to the Charlotte location in NC, and my goodness, the place was amazing. It was a dream spot for everything luxury. From the moment I stepped in the store, I was greeted with a smile, a form to fill out, and some champagne (and water for my younger sisters). All of the staff there were friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable about their inventory and what could be done to change things if I had any special requests. Everything from dresses, to veils, to head pieces and jewelry, this place had it ALL. The material of the dresses range from lace, to satin silk, and everything in between, there's no way you could not find a dress you'll fall in love with. They have this amazing refer a friend program, and if you do buy your dress please mention my name Jessica Sabourin! It would really mean a lot to me if I had some girls who read this review to mention my name for the referral program they have, it will help me and my mother big time. I ended up buying my dress the same day because I had my "bridal moment" after only an hour and a half of being in the store - and it was my 2nd shopping experience! Pretty dresses but it arrived with the hem too short, extra material on one of hips. They told me my shoes were too high!The alterations they sent me to said shoes were not high and had to take the whole skirt apart to lower and fix hem after I had paid $180.00 to have them make it a custom length. Not only was it too short but it was different lengths all over. I paid to have the dress rushed thank goodness because the amount of alterations needed to fix it are extensive and it will be ready 2 days before my wedding!.They argued about covering the costs of the alterations, did not return phone calls until I got nasty and told them I would be in touch with corporate. I paid for a lot of customizing on this dress and it was not cheap. I did not get what I paid for and would not recommend this store to anyone. There are too many other reputable shops in town. I wish I had shopped around more but I felt I didn't have time. If they had just acknowledged the mistakes in their alterations and taken care of it I would have been fine but they tried a complete whitewash on this and the service is just simply not behind their product. read more

I just want to give a big THANK YOU to Winnie Couture! I looked like a beautiful Queen at my wedding. I had so many wonderful compliments on my dress. I couldn't believe how amazing my dress turned out considering I had so many custom changes done, was nervous it wouldn't come out the way I wanted and imagined. I kind of went a little out of control with customizing my dress but my stylist gave me her professional opinion and thoughts about what I wanted to do. She made certain suggestions on what I should have changed on my dress since my ideas were all over the place. I basically had 2 dresses in one. I got the top of one and the bottom of another. I also had more beading added to it, I had the back lowered and the top made to sweetheart neck. I was so nervous to go to my first fitting to see the outcome, but I was relieved once I saw it. It was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen and the best part was that it was mine. I tried it on and it fit perfect I didn't need any alterations. I was pleasantly shocked. I chose to buy my wedding gown from Winnie Couture because of the sweet, sweet voice I was met with on the phone when making my initial appointment. Winnie was the right choice for me for numerous reasons; although, I would recommend any and every one of my friends and family solely because of my gown consultant - RICKLEY. She was so sweet to me and all of my family that accompanied me. I have very opinionated family members, and she made sure that I remembered that day was about me, my feelings, and my opinion. She was more than helpful, genuinely kind and thoughtful, intuitive and empathic. Rickley turned a really nice experience into an amazing, unforgettable experience. I can be a fairly anxious person, and began feeling nervous as soon as I walked into the store (normal "so this is real, I'm actually getting married" nerves). My experience at Winnie Couture was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous designer dresses to the impeccable customer service it was everything I had dreamed it would be and more! My family had traveled to visit me in Atlanta to shop for my wedding gown. It was very important to me that they enjoy the experience as much as I did. Winnie Couture was my first and only stop during my wedding gown shopping and I couldn't be happier! My bridal stylist, Alexa, was very knowledgeable and incredibly sweet. I sent them an email a few weeks before my appointment to make sure they could accommodate me and my huge group because I have me and other five people to help me say yes to the dress! I had a great day, and the entire time I felt like a princess thanks to my bridal stylist. She managed my bigger group with ease and gave everyone a sense of exclusivity. My experience at Winnie Couture was unparalleled. From the second I met Alexa (the consultant), I felt extremely comfortable and at ease. She really listened to my wants and concerns, but pushed me to try other dresses that I didn't think I would like. In addition my mother and 3 bridesmaids joined me on the visit, and Alexa did a wonderful job of balancing their personalities/reactions with my own. Aside from the awesome consultant, the store has a very wide range of wedding dress styles, and you are able to mix and match items from different dresses (for example, I liked the back of one dress, but everything else about another). This was my third and final stop on my wedding gown journey, and I'm so pleased I came here! The huge quantity of gowns in this store is a little overwhelming. I was genuinely surprised!!! But I felt so much better once I was in the dressing room and bridal area. My sister and I chose four gowns to try on from their huge variety. Throughout the process, my stylist was patient and polite, and we felt at ease and relaxed. I FINALLY found THE DRESS and I so LOVED it! I'm bad at making such huge decisions, but everyone working that day was very accommodating to my needs. When I got at Winnie Couture Atlanta my stylist was excellent and helpful, and she even made me feel like her best friend, which I am grateful for. I'd been to many bridal salons in the past to look for the perfect wedding gown until my sister told me about this store in Atlanta. They have the most beautiful collection of wedding dresses that you will surely love. The have different sizes of their wedding gown up to size 30. I am above average so I was really glad that they really have something for me. Winnie Couture made my experience the most beautiful one and helped me honestly appreciate my dream dress even more! I am a Winnie bride !!! When I walked in I was amazed with the decor and the professionalism of the staff. I was greeted in a timely manner and I was asked if I would like champagne to began dress shopping. Before I came in for my initial appointment Erica asked me what was my theme for my wedding so she could get an idea of what dresses to pull for me. Erica new immediately what dress I would say Yes to. I told her I needed a dress that had a lot of bling and she blew me away with "Gemini" . Winnie Couture was a fantastic experience for me. First and foremost, the salon is lovely and majestic. They had many options in my price range and dresses in all styles. And what I like most is that unlike other bridal salons, they encourage you and your friends to look at and choose the dresses. My stylist was commendable and she truly assisted me in choosing my ideal dress. I came to Winnie in search of my perfect bridal gown and I was absolutely blown away by the experience I had! From the moment I stepped in the bridal stylist was so incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to explain to me that I could customize my gown to my liking. She even managed to create the very gown I had envisioned in my head! I've never gotten such amazing treatment at any other salon - they were just so rude and unhelpful. I had the best experience at Winnie couture. My consultant's name was Lindsay and she was absolutely amazing and so sweet. I went to shop at two other places that day and I was tired and upset because I was disappointed about my experience at the other bridal salons. My mother was upset and to be honest was not being the nicest person in the world. Lindsay still was so nice and professional. She gave me a glass of champagne and asked me a few questions and found my dress. Literally the first dress she picked was the one. I was SHOCKED! The dresses ranged between $1,000 up to $7,000 so there are many options for you to pick from depending on your budget. I fell in love with two of the dresses there and now have a hard time picking it. Lots of beautiful dresses to choose from. Overall, I had such an amazing experience for my first bridal appointment and would recommend everyone to go there!

To be clear, the medical emergency was NEVER the issue. Emergencies happen. The issue was how the situation was handled afterward. I was also required to put a card on file and could be charged if I canceled, yet when the boutique canceled, there seemed to be little consideration for our time or travel. My phone interaction with Sydney felt dismissive, condescending, and passive-aggressive rather than apologetic or helpful. For a boutique marketed as a luxury experience, I expected professionalism, empathy, and communication. Based on my experience, I received the exact opposite and cannot recommend Magnolia Laine.

Ruby at Bridal Couture saved my sister's wedding…read more And no, that's not an overstatement. When my sister began looking for her wedding dress, we knew it would be a difficult search. Anytime we went into a bridal salon, as soon as she said she didn't want strapless the saleswoman would sigh and bring out the 3 or 4 non-strapless dresses they had. It was really frustrating. So when my sister heard about Ruby and went to visit her, she was so excited to learn she could have the dress of her dreams. The dresses that Ruby had available in her shop were beautiful and helpful so my sister could point out what she did and didn't like. Ruby kept my sister informed all along the way and would fit her in for additional fittings. My sister ended up with the (non-strapless!) dress of her dreams: it fit perfectly and suited her personality. After all, it was made for her! My mom's search for a dress was even more difficult. When she finally found one she liked, she was so upset to see that it had been ordered in the wrong size (she needed a petite). She brought the dress in to Ruby and she was able to work her magic and make it look perfect. The dress was very detailed with lots of ruching and Ruby managed to pull it all together in very little time. She also did some small alterations on my maid of honor dress and created a sash for me to wear. All of her work was beautiful and she couldn't have been nicer. I know that I'll have an equally difficult time finding the dress of my dreams, so it's nice to know that Ruby is there if and when I need her!
