McCall was an awesome, patient stylist that took into consideration all of what I was looking for to eventually find the dress I ended up buying! All of the dresses here seemed to be very affordable (I tried on lots of dresses, all under $1500) and I was able to find one on sale for an amazing price. They looked just as nice as dresses that were going for $2K+ at other stores! McCall was super helpful in assisting with getting the dresses on and off as well - I went solo shopping so it was nice to have her in my corner. I really appreciate Carrie's for delivering quality service without breaking the bank. Some other bridal shops wanted to charge an appointment fee just to come and try on dresses. From the very beginning, she took the time to really listen to what I wanted in a dress and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. She pulled a wide variety of gowns that fit my style and vision, and I never once felt rushed or pressured. When I narrowed it down to two favorites, Kayla was so patient and thoughtful. She walked me through the pros and cons of each dress, asked great questions, and helped me see how each one could work for my big day. I made an appointment to come try on dresses with a few family and friends here. I actually ended up showing up about 10 or 15 minutes early in hopes we could start sooner though I understood that wasn't guaranteed. One of the reasons I chose to look here is because I saw they had really good reviews and also from how they looked online they were supposed to have more affordable options relative to other salons. When we arrived, there was no one at the front and we weren't greeted for quite a bit though someone came up eventually. They let us know that we have to wait till closer to reservation and we were welcome to look around. Saturdays is a hectic day so we totally understood that getting in earlier was a shot in the dark. At that point we had already gone to other salons during the day and I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted so I took advantage of looking around. To my surprise I wasn't seeing as many dresses at low of a cost as I expected. I feel like the ones that were similar to the style I wanted based on the other salons were only a few hundred less, but I thought it be less since the other dresses were not off the rack. Additionally we waited 15 minutes past my appointment time and had yet to be started by anyone, so at that point we decided that maybe that just wasn't the place for us and left. Compared to other salons I worked with, I felt like the customer service was a bit more attentive there, and I was even called prior to my appointment to make sure they knew my preferences which I really appreciate. I am so so pleased to have found my wedding dress at Carrie's! This is a cute bridal shop where they don't carry more well known designers. From my understanding, they only carry about 1-2 designers? Once you make an appointment, they do charge you $25 as a fee (quite frankly I was a little salty when I paid but after my experience here, it was very well worth it). The shop is located in Chamblee. Right next door is a consignment bridal shop where they sell "as is" dresses. Once you enter the shop, you are greeted with hundreds of dresses! The bridal stylist who helped me on this visit was Kylie. She asked me when my wedding is and the styles I like. I explained to her what I liked and she pulled dresses as my party and I sat in the dressing room area. She truly listened to what I envisioned! She pulled a random dress with a style I didn't see myself liking but once I put it on, it was perfect. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day; it sure makes me even more excited that I get to wear a gorgeous dress from Carrie's. I went here yesterday to try on dresses. While I haven't chosen a dress yet, I will 10000000% come back to this store. For budget conscious brides: you'll be happy to hear that all of the dresses are available quickly and that they don't have prices over 2k, which means you can definitely spend more on accessories. There is also tons of selection and all the staff are extremely knowledgeable and on top of the inventory. Kai assisted me (and Ebony offered input too!) and both of these wonderful humans put up with all of my *very specific* requests for my dream dress, not only allowed me to have my familial entourage (three people) there for support but also were extremely kind and hospitable to all of us, and allowed me to go two hours over my reserved time and try on countless dresses to help me find something I loved. This store has the most positive vibe and helpful employees. I went to a few other shops and was not nearly as comfortable and relaxed as I felt I could be here. Some of the other stores I went to were nice but the assistants didn't feel authentic and didn't really listen to me about what I wanted. They also shoved me into dressed that didn't fit me and made me feel self-conscious about my size (bridal size 10-12). They also would not allow photos (at Carrie's, photos are basically required and they are super enthusiastic about helping you find your dress and comparing photos. I felt like I was besties with the ladies at Carrie's by the end of the experience!) Amazing selection, amazing prices, and absolutely phenomenal staff. A must visit for any soon-to-be bride! My only feedback is that brides should think ahead about how they prefer to tip their stylist. Their POS system has options for tipping at the end that made me feel put on the spot since I wasn't expecting it and didn't know the etiquette and the staff didn't really guide me about what is expected/typical/appropriate (so therefore I felt really awkward, so panicked and just tipped 20%), but this was not a big deal as my stylist deserves LITERALLY every penny, I just wish I'd known in advance to build it into my budget! read more

Darla was really helpful, friendly, and honest. My first time trying on a wedding dress (ever) at Carrie's was great thanks to her. If your budget is around or under $500, I saw a good selection to choose from with some shorter dress alternatives towards the front of the store. Don't get me wrong, if your budget is much more then browse away. If you look at my pic, you will see that they have about 4 sections of those racks with some racks being longer with more dresses. They also had a small selection of jeweled belts, veils of all lengths, hair accessories, and jewelry pieces for browsing. They have a 5% discount if you're paying cash and an additional discount if you buy the dress right away (all sales are final though). Their parking lot is super small, like 3 to 4 spaces so I believe there may be additional spaces towards the back (or at least the sign said additional spaces for persons with disabilities). I loved the service provided, but I just wasn't in love with the dresses here. Also, I didn't know this, but you can make a strapless into a different dress by adding a neckline illusion ($25 for the illusion piece) or adding a tulle skirt (about $299) to make it into a different style. Ohhhhh where do I begin??!!! So. I heard about this place from my bestie who just happened to see a commercial advertising Carrie's Bridal and after perusing the website, I had to make an appointment. First off, finding a gown under $1000 takes a lot of work and I knew it was time to get super serious about getting this dress. Second, it was super easy to make an appointment...I went right to the website, picked a day and it let me know right then and there what times were available so there was no going back and forth on the phone with someone. Third, I gave myself until the end of 2016 to get a gown and it finally happened. Finding the shop wasn't that hard and just by pulling up, I knew this was the place for me. Just a beautiful simple shop. Full of gowns in sizes all the way up to 24, plenty of accessories, veils, shoes, and just charm. I walked in and was greeted by Darla, who just made my shopping experience so easy and fun, and we got started. I love that there aren't just a ton of people in the shop at one time. There are only two areas for soon-to-be brides to showcase their possible and they make it known do not stand on the platform because it's just for the bride So she showed us where our area would be, asked me questions about what I liked (and of course my budget) and took us straight to the racks to start the fun! She allowed us to pick up dresses, wasn't like some places where they don't want anyone but the stylist to pick out dresses, and while we had fun she grabbed a few annnnnnd took me back to start trying on some gowns. I already knew what style I wanted and it didn't take long to know which one would be THE dress. Once I let it be known the dress I loved, she didn't pressure me to try on anything else anddddd even told me to put THE dress on again so she could doll me up all pretty with the belt, dress, earrings, and bracelet. This was the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience anyone could ask ever for!! My mom initially found Carrie's Bridal through instagram and we instantly knew we found the right place because of how diverse (in terms of size inclusivity and race) their profile is. It was incredibly reassuring to see a range of brides. I also love that Carrie's Bridal offers virtual appointments which means they will curate a box of several dresses for you to try on at home! After making an appointment for a FaceTime call, I filled out a survey they emailed me asking me about my style, wedding details, sizing, etc. During the FaceTime call with Candace and Kim, I saw some of the dresses that I would be trying on. The next day, we picked up the box of dresses to try on at home. The box included clips, an "I said yes to the dress" sign, a try-on robe, and garment bags for the dresses. With a virtual appointment, I was able to have a memorable dress try-on experience from home that my family could be there for which was very important to me. Even though I didn't ultimately choose any of the dresses in the box, I loved the top half of one dress and the bottom half of another so I emailed Candace with the pictures of the two dresses asking if she had anything that combined the two. The next day when I went to drop off the box, she had me come in and showed me my literal DREAM DRESS! It perfectly combined the two elements from the dresses and I was in love with it. After trying it on, I definitely teared up and had that bridal moment everyone always talks about. I bought the dress that day. Thank you Candace and Carrie's Bridal! Candace truly listened to me and is so genuinely caring. I wasn't dreading wedding dress shopping - but I'm also not the kind of girl that was looking forward to playing bride at endless wedding dress appointments either. My mom, aunt, step-daughter, and I went for my bridal appointment and by our good fortune we got Courtney as our consultant, who was incredible, amazing, and knows just how to deal with brides. My family and I set a bunch of dresses aside and Courtney asked if she could suggest one for me based on what I had described for a beach wedding. I tried her selection on first and went home with it. Clearly she knows what she's doing! I never felt pressured or rushed but Courtney did help me prioritize which dresses to try on first so that we weren't there forever. I had scheduled some other appointments later in the week and initially I felt like I should go to others to compare but I just had such a good experience that I went home with a dress that day. While I didn't try on anywhere else, I did browse at a couple other stores who made me feel like I should be lucky to get an apportionment with them and it just took the fun out of it. Last fall, I was on a search for a wedding gown. I honestly didn't know what to expect. When I got engaged, one of the first questions I'd receive were "Did you find your dress?" Others would say how they just cried when they tried on *the* dress so I figured maybe the same would happen? I figured I could take my time until someone told me that it would take 5-6 months for my dress to come in. So, that started my dress search last September. I scheduled three appointments for three stores with my mom, best friend and aunt. Carrie's was the first store on the stop, came recommended by my wedding planner, Courtney Jackson from The Charming Details. I looked at the website briefly but didn't absorb too much. When I arrived, I was greeted by my stylist, Michaela. I was shocked, honestly, to find a Black stylist in this quaint store because I really didn't expect it. (I'm Black, for anyone reading.) She led my party and I to our room in the back which had a big mirror, four chairs, and a changing room. She began to ask me questions about my style, my fiancé, and what I imagined for my wedding day. She grabbed several gorgeous dresses for me and helped me change in and out of them. The gowns were all pretty affordable, surprisingly, too! Though I didn't have my "omg, cry!" moment, I headed to my next appointments with high expectations. They all fell short of the Carrie's experience. I went to a total of six bridal shops in all and they all made me feel like a number in a pool of other brides. Barely any of the stylists in other stores helped me in the gowns beyond putting the sheet in because the gowns they'd give me were too small for my size (then, street size of 12.) The selection of gowns at other stores were pretty much the same dress in multiple shades of rose or blush which didn't flatter my Black skin at all. I was disappointed, honestly. Some shops didn't allow for photos which also sucked because how was I to remember every detail about every dress? It took some soul searching and reflecting on the photos (especially from Carrie's) to realize that one of the dresses I tried on at Carrie's was *the* dress after all. A month after my appointment, I went back on a lunch break and hoped it was still there. It was, to my surprise, and $400 less than when I originally visited the store. Ms. Kim, another lovely stylist, helped me find the dress. I bought it on the spot and it's been in my closet for the last 9 months. I can't wait to wear it next year when I renew my vows in front of our family and friends after the coronavirus dies down (here's hoping...!) I highly suggest that any girl in the Atlanta area searching for a dress go to Carrie's. You're getting basically a one-of-a-kind dress for less than $1500 and you're taking it home the same day. I had been to 4 bridal stores and tried on countless wedding gowns all to no avail...until I finally scheduled an appointment at Carrie's. Audra was amazing and really knows what she's doing. She was warm, super friendly, and really listened to what I was looking for in a wedding dress. In addition, I told her that I wanted her to find different styles for me that she thought might compliment my body type, and she did just that. Everything she picked out was great. I would HIGHLY recommend Carrie's for your wedding dress. The experience was super easy and enjoyable. I wish I remembered my consultant's name. I think it was Jonae or something like that. She was so sweet and gave great feedback. I ended up trying the same dress on multiple times in between other dresses because I wasn't sure. She didn't even flinch! It was awesome to walk out that day with my dress and they gave me a list of different vendors for alterations. The whole experience was fun and painless. First off I tried on 3 different devices to book a VIP appointment online and the website would NOT let me book the VIP appointment for 4:30 on 4/12/2019. I sent a request to be contacted by Carrie's to book the appointment and explained in the contact request the problem I was having with booking and it would only let me book a regular appointment and NOT the VIP. The reply I first got from Carrie's was you need to book it online. When I finally got someone to call me to book the VIP appointment I asked what was included in $150 appointment. I was told that we could have up to 10 people come with us, that my daughter would get 2 hours to try on dresses, champagne, ordervers and sweets. We were NOT offered any of the above. We helped ourselves to some hot mini bottled water. I don't call bags of chips and individual wrapped Malone cookies that you can buy at Publix when buy one get one free for $6 is worth $150. Our consultant asked my daughter what kind of dresses that she was interested in and my daughter showed her pictures of the dress style that she wantec with some fancy lace and beaded work in an A-line style that flared out into a kind of mermaid style dress. The consultant put my daughter in every different style of dress except for what she was wanting. If you are smaller then a 6 or a plus size bride this is the place for you. For my daughter who is an 8 to size 10 in regular clothes was VERY LIMITED and had nothing what so ever in what she was looking for. We were out of there in about a hour. I felt like I just wasted $150 got nothing that I was supposed to receive for the VIP consultation and a consultant that ignored all of my daughter's wants in a dress. At 5:30 I called the first dress salon that we went to and asked them if we could come back there to retry on the dress my daughter really liked and they closed at 6pm. I told them we wouldn't be able to get there till about 6-6:30 and they said not a problem come on back and they would stay open for us. When we got back to Suite Bridal around 6:15 Sara even encouraged us to recheck the racks to see if there was anything else she wanted to try on before putting on the dress we went back for. My daughter found a different dress that she fell in love with that had all her wants and more. I can not thank Sara and her staff at Suite Bridal enough for all of thier help, staying open late for us and their patience. Plus the appointment at Suite Bridal didn't cost us anything except a $25 refundable deposit as long as we showed up for our appointment. Plus when we arrived for our noon appointment early they took us right away plus we tried on dresses for over an hour and forty-five minutes before leaving for our disappointing appointment at Carrie's for $150. We also arrived early for our 4:30 appointment at 4:15 and was made to wait till 4:30 to start our appointment. read more

WOW! We visited the Chamblee store yesterday and had the most fabulous experience. Ashley and Ariel were amazing to work with...they could not have been more helpful, professional, and delightful! And, they are EXCELLENT at their jobs! They knocked it out of the park for our daughter and we couldn't be more happy or excited for her big day. 10/10 would recommend this shop. I hope to return again and will be requesting the "A Team" (Ashely + Ariel)! I was very happy with my entire experience at Carrie's. From the very start, they were very quick to respond to my online request for an appointment. Upon learning that I'd be unavailable to make it to my original appointment date, I let them know right away and they happily rescheduled me for my next available time. Prior to my appointment, I explained via email my tight budget and unusual wedding plans. They assured me we'd find something (and they were right!) Carrie & Kristin provide excellent email communication leading up to the appointment, including a message full of instructions a few days prior to your appointment. I received descriptive directions to get there, as well as helpful information about what to be prepared with and for during my time slot. I was grateful for this communication! Upon arrival at the very cute warehouse/salon, we were greeted by Kristin. We chatted briefly about what I was potentially looking for and my budget, and then she set my girlfriends & me loose on a particular rack within my budget. During this time, she went and pulled dresses she thought would be good in terms of budget and flattering my body type. It was really nice to be the only group in there, too! Once we had a few in the dressing room, I got started. I had read horror stories of having to be practically naked with a sales associate, but Kristin was awesome! She let me pull the curtain and step into/pull up the dresses on my own and then she'd come in to help zip/button/etc. I never felt vulnerable or uncomfortable. She did the same as I got out of the dresses, waiting outside the curtain for me to hand the gowns back to her. Kristin was so easy-going, had a good sense of humor, and was really a pleasure to work with. She didn't pressure me into purchasing and honestly felt more like another girlfriend in terms of offering opinions and such. She was very helpful in terms of trying different sashes/belts & hair accessories with the various gowns and provided great tips in general. I'd highly recommend Carrie's Bridal to anyone looking for their wedding dress. The gowns were all lovely and the experience was so much more relaxed and enjoyable than many of the stories I've heard from others! I'm hoping to do some budgeting in order to return to Carrie's to purchase a gorgeous beaded belt I adore to wear with my dress on my upcoming big day! I went with a friend to look for wedding dresses for her. We had been to several expensive bridal stores and she had tried on several options, but she hadn´t yet found what she wanted. She had mentioned to another friend that she wanted to spend less money on her dress, and the friend recommended Carrie´s. We were not expecting much, since we knew you can´t order dresses from there (you walk out with what you want!) and that everything was under $1,000. However, we were absolutely floored by how amazing the experience was! We were given a full consultation where we talked about the location and feel of the wedding, the budget, and my friend´s personality and dress ideas, and then Kristen pulled dresses for us while we browsed. When we all met back for my friend to try on the dresses, the ones we had chosen were on the expensive end and the ones Kristen had chosen looked almost exactly the same but were hundreds of dollars less. My friend tried on the two she had pulled first, and the third she tried was one Kristen pulled. It was perfect and incredibly inexpensive. We couldn´t believe that the very first dress they recommended was not only beautiful, but way below her budget. We walked away extremely happy and almost $500 below budget. Kristen also gave us recommendations for a seamstress for alterations and a gift of pearl earrings, and offered up her honeymoon travel planning services as well. My sisters and I drove three hours to Carrie's on labor day 9-1-14. My sister is the bride and saw a dress from Carrie's that she really liked a couple of weeks before our appointment. Anyway, we arrived at the shop and we're being rushed the minute we walked in the store. The girl that was helping my sister never told us her name. Finding the right dress is supposed to be a special moment for the bride. My sister thought she found her dress and all the girl said was "ok I'll bag it up for you". She basically pushed my sister into the dressing room to get the dress off of her to get us out of there. We we're only there for an hour. Basically, my sister decided not to get the dress because the girl was so rude. I'm sure this place can be great, but we had an awful experience. I would not recommended anyone to go here. read more

My fiancé went to Carrie's and she was so happy with the experience she asked me to write a review. If you're not familiar with Carrie's it has dresses from $99-$999. You have to set up a time beforehand to come in and they recommend you visit other places first. The service was very friendly and unobtrusive, the consultant lets you try out dresses with no pressure and let's you take your time trying out different dresses. The dresses themselves are made from all different materials and styles, and it felt priced reasonably. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone serious looking to buy their dress. read more

Actually the dress shopping experience was fine. It was the alterations that were a disaster! Sue Kim (recommended by Carrie and right next to her shop) was horrible. She messed up the alterations and would not fix. She only accepts "cash" - big red flag. We ended up spending over 1/2 the price of the dress on alterations. So no savings at all! And Carrie does not stand by the person she recommends for alterations - so we are just out of luck. I am so very dissappointed and would never recommend for anyone to go here. read more

One of the things I loved the most about my wedding was my wedding dress (and my husband agrees)! I purchased my dress during Carrie's Bridal Sample Sale. I only had an hour to find my dress and the accessories to go with it, but I did not feel rushed at all. All of the dresses were in perfect condition. The associate gave me feedback and found accessories to go with my dress within an hour and some time to spare. I walked away with the most perfect dress, a veil, and a belt all at a great price! When walking in we were welcome with a very nice young lady. The area was set up so cute and we noticed that there were a lot of dresses. However, once our session start, that went down hill. My daughter and I felt as if we were on an assembly line and she (Madison) was ready to get us out the door for the next appt. All together she tried on four dresses and was then told, "Usually after two "dress picks" and you do not find a dress, you have probably exhausted your options. WHAT!!?? I was like, she has tried on four dress. I think this store would have been a great experience if we had someone else to help. read more
