Both are really great grocery stores. There's one Bakery employee and her name is Ann and she is the friendliest lady working in a Publix ever!! She likes customers and she helps folks too. There is also a great young man named Artie that goes out of his way by far to help you. They have everything here, including a pharmacy and a liquor store!!!!

When I returned Sophie had it all ready for pick up. I was super impressed by her handwriting and just had to compliment her having the prettiest writing anyone has ever done for me on a cake and that's saying alot since I'm in my 70's and have ordered so many in my life! The store has a fresh produce section, deli section for sliced meats and cheese, and a wonderful meat/chicken/pork section. It reminds me of a local store when I was a child in the inner city. The fresh baked goods they carry are good - but I wish they still carried the items brought in by The Village Bakers in Jacksonville, a renowned bakery in northeast Florida. We alway get fresh rolls from them to make our sandwiches. The crumb cake slices are amazingly delicious - just like back in NJ where I grew up. The quality of the meats they carry is top shelf - we have never gotten anything that wasn't terrific. Hubby prefers Boar's Head brand, and they are cheaper than the grocery store that carries it nearby. I will always recommend them and return for my grocery shopping. Cashiers on the way out are always pleasant.

The…read moreproblem is they have to put up with some people that I would just say are a little bit wealthier than most and feel more entitled. I noticed a number of golf carts so I was very careful driving around them. The problem is outside. I was in a disabled parking spot because I am disabled my heart. As I was pulling out after getting a few groceries doing 4 miles an hour watching for pedestrians one of them walked directly in front of my car and I had to literally Slam the brakes on. Besides dealing with golf carts, I also had to deal with air boats and Johnny boats as I pulled back on US 19 and they were doing 70 mph. I would come back to the store, but it would be later in the evening when those people have gone home and gone to bed. Oh, you also have to look out for Can-Ams scooters etc...and motorcycles. I don't have a problem with those people, but you gotta be extremely and I do mean extremely careful in the parking lot. Like I said great store inside but with Glenn Lakes right next to it. I was not impressed, but I'll come back if I happen to be in the area. They close earlier than my Publix.

She's definitely not from here but soon found out that her smart mouth and nasty attitude will not be tolerated here. It saddens me to say, I will no longer shop at Food Ranch because of this woman's lack of human decency. I'm 70 yrs old and have dealt with a lot in life. But she is the most horrible person I've ever seen working in a public place or business. With all that said, I still love the rest of the employees. Never has anyone else at Food Ranch treated me with anything but kindness. She needs to go and take her attitude back to where she came from.

This market has been amazing and has provided us with a way to enjoy a meal as a family while still being able to make things that our children are going to eat as well. This place has provided things that are hard to find sometimes that other markets, but they were nice enough in hand enough to order things without charging us or anything so I really happy with their service.

What irks me is that this location has decided to forego customer service by eliminating 99 percent of cashiers and go to self-scanning as if everyone wants to be a Walmart employee. Not me! Until they give me vacation time and medical benefits along with retirement plan I will gladly wait for a human cashier to ring in my purchase - I haven't been trained and can make a mistake - I don't want to be accused of shoplifting!
