Both are really great grocery stores. There's one Bakery employee and her name is Ann and she is the friendliest lady working in a Publix ever!! She likes customers and she helps folks too. There is also a great young man named Artie that goes out of his way by far to help you. They have everything here, including a pharmacy and a liquor store!!!!

When I returned Sophie had it all ready for pick up. I was super impressed by her handwriting and just had to compliment her having the prettiest writing anyone has ever done for me on a cake and that's saying alot since I'm in my 70's and have ordered so many in my life! So while I was there in my mask and gloves, I stocked up on the groceries I was low on. The bakery department had some awesome fresh rolls, and the meat department was putting out freshly cut roasts. This store isn't very crowded so I felt comfortable enough to not rush my trip - remembered all my pantry items I needed so that we are now set for quite awhile. Hubby says the first battalion can stop for lunch and we'd have enough for them! Cashier and bagger were friendly and quick. I appreciated the fact the company paid for first responders groceries two weeks ago, and will continue to shop here.

We had some savings and it wasn't expensive to join. You can join right now for $25, but then I think it goes up. I just walked around to check it out. They do have some good buys if you have a big family and even if you're like me and single. If I join, I'm gonna get the rotisserie chicken. It's only five dollars. If you're single and you wanna make it work out for you you'll just go in and get a few things and get your gas there. I wish they built one right here in Spring Hill. I probably would've already joined. The staff were nice and I have to admit the hot dog I had was delicious!!!

Especially the seafood section! I stopped to get some Mineral water in the glass bottle & they had Swordfish on sale for $2.75 a pound! Really nice wild caught thick swordfish. Moi bought eleven pounds of Swordfish for moi fresh lemon & bay leaf kabobs. They were Magnificent. Arrrr! OuiOui :).... The Italian mineral water in the glass bottles are also fabulous. Will definitely Return when in the area.

I was splendidly surprised! This space is on the second floor with a nice view, plenty of seating, clean restrooms, microwave and eating supplies. Oh and Publix plays some nice music as well., Feel free to go to the grocer hungry! Publix has a space for you to sit and enjoy some delicious eats. Note: Not all Publix have this space. If your lucky enough to find one, you gotta check it out!

There is one thing however, some of the employees are brand new to Publix. The guy at the hot food counter didn't know which warmer had the smoked pork! Lmao, imagine being 19 years old working at Publix and you have no clue what pulled pork looks like. So bear with them yelpers, they are just learning the ropes. I figured they'd collect money when my food was made. So I'm standing there for 10 minutes. No food, people were getting food after I came in and they were gone. Finally I asked someone where my food was. They said, oh you have to pay first. You think they tell you there and I said there's no sign here that told me I was supposed to go over the register and pay first and then come back and wait for my food. But I went ahead and paid for my food came back picked up my food and headed out. I opened my egg container to see some sort of slop. The eggs were wet with uncooked egg juice that tasted absolutely disgusting! I was running even later or I would have gone back. I think the eggs were those powdered fake egg mixture. It was horrible! I checked the sub and ate part of it. It wasn't bad but I heard their food was made with fake meat or that lab grown meat. I do not recommend anyone eating Wawa food. It was gross and nasty. I will never go back to any Wawa. Later I called the store to complain and was told to leave my number and I'd hear from a manager. No one called. No refund offered.

As for the person who posted that they started by selling milk and expanded to what they are now. Two of my brothers worked at their original store in Folsom, PA is an understatement. In 1974 they had a contest to design a new logo. My brother submitted one and his design won. His concept was that WAWA was a native American word for flying goose. And personally I wish that they would bring back the heated bagel with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.
