Excellent grocery store. They have made some really nice changes and the gas reward points are also nice.

I usually stop into this Publix when I need a quick grocery item when shopping at Target, eating at…read moreBronx House, or snagging some Jelati from Jeremiah's Italian Ice. I'll pop in grab a few items to throw dinner together later in the evening. Once in a while I stop in to pick up lunch if I don't feel like dining-in anywhere and just want to chill in my car with some music. The sushi, salads, and made-to-order sandwiches have never let me down. Staff are always friendly and the store is kept clean and orderly. This location is very busy and parking can be a PITA but I've never had an issue getting in and out in of here in a reasonable amount of time. On my most recent visit I stopped in to pick up a couple bags of Giovanni Rana Spinach Tortellini (Family Size on sale for $6.99) and Basil pasta sauce for dinner. I also decided to purchase some sushi for lunch. I went with the 10-piece Wednesday Crunchy CA Roll for $5, not bad. It's much cheaper than eating out at Bronx House. When you're on the run it only makes sense to get something quick like this. Plus, I don't recall ever receiving an old or yucky sushi item from Publix, so it's a win all around. This Publix has always been good to me, so no major complaints other than traffic but you have to expect that when coming to this plaza, it's been crazy for as long as I can remember.

The store is clean and bright and the server is very friendly.

I am a huge fan of the Fresh Market and this particular location, which is in Lake Mary, Florida,…read moreis a pretty solid location. The service here was friendly and professional and it has an overall pleasant ambiance. It definitely suits an upscale supermarket. What I like best about the Fresh Market is the quality of their food, especially their meat department and produce department. I came in on a Tuesday because their ground beef and chicken is on sale every Tuesday and their ground beef (which is grounded in-house) and chicken is so superior to every other supermarket. Their steaks are also phenomenal. The Fresh Market is a fantastic option in terms of an upscale supermarket. Their meat department and produce department, as I mentioned are probably my two favorite departments, but the whole supermarket is definitely stellar. The deli is great and even their groceries are good. Oh, don't forget their bakery. They have great cakes and bread. The Fresh Market is a great choice and this location definitely earns five stars. Go check them out for yourself.

I recently revisited Fresh Market and while I was there picking up some clearance cookies and candy…read moreI became aware of their daily prepared food deals. I was very impressed. I have been an on again off again Fresh Market shopper and have purchased their weekly 'Little Big Meals' or Tuesday's discount meat specials and the occasional deli chicken. I was a little disenchanted because although the quality is good it is not a place I can afford to do a week's worth of grocery shopping. They have very attractive displays and lighting which is kind of like a foodie's kid in a candy store experience. I did not realize what quality deli prepared meals they have for the average $5. I realize this is a marketing attempt to get you into the store but it is totally working for me! These rotating meal deals typically offer a significant discount on popular prepared items. Tuesday: $5 12" Hot and Fresh Pizzas (Deli). There is a limit of 2 per guest. There is a menu so it is not build your own. They offer traditional flavors but also Mike's Hot Honey Pepperoni, Pepe Fromage Pizza and my favorite Ensalada which is topped with arugula, red onions and a balsamic reduction. Wednesday: $5 Paninis (Deli). Thursday: $5 Bistro Meals or $5 Whole Roasted Chickens (Deli). Bistro Meals typically include one entrée and two sides; guests can often purchase up to 4. This is a deal because many times the protein alone would be more than the $5 meal deal. You get to choose two of any cold deli salad or hot side items. I think going early is key so you get the run of the protein choices. They also offer $5 roasted chickens and my favorite flavor is garlic thyme. These go fast. Friday: $5/lb Cooked Chicken Wings (Deli). There are roughly 12 wings in a pound. Sauce flavors are Parmesan garlic, Buffalo, BBQ and plain. They usually have one flavor of sauced wings in the case but can add the sauce of your choice to the plain wings. The Fresh Market employees in the Deli department have proven to be very patient. There can be a line up to order a meal but they don't rush you. One night I wanted the garlic thyme flavor chicken and they had the last batch in the oven. It was around seven and she said they would be ready in 15 minutes and would set one aside for me. As a budget conscious shopper who still wants restaurant quality meals these deals hit the spot.

My coworkers and I visit Publix at least once a week for lunch. We go back and forth between this…read morePublix or the larger one at Colonial Town Park Center. At times this one has better subs an fried chicken, but there are times when it's better at the other store. It's crazy how prices have soared at Publix over the years. I remember when you could get a full sub for $6.99 and a box of chicken for almost the same price. Now, a full Italian will cost you $10 and a box of fried chicken wings is $16. In the old days, you could find a two for one bag of chips for $5 now its abot $7. However, if they're not having any sales you're looking at spending $6 a bag, it's crazy. Oh and a gallon of lemonade or tea used to be two for $5, now it will run you $7 for the same deal. My team loves these M&M cookies which cost about $4 back in the day, now they are $6.19. Once in a while we'll pick up a cake and some ice cream for a birthday. The cheaper cakes cost about $7. And a tub of Blue Bell ice cream is about $9.20. Specialty cakes are anywhere from $15-$30. We usually buy for a group of seven or eight people, so we easily spend $100 or more each time we come here yet It's still cheaper than going to most other places in the area and you'll get a lot more for your money. We like to put our order in around 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. so we can pick up by 11:00 a.m., just in time for lunch - anytime after that Publix is pretty well slammed and you might be eating after 1:00 p.m. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are in the area and craving a great sub you have several options but Publix will cost you the least out of all of them (Laspadas, Jersey Mike's, Upsala Grocery, Firehouse, Jason's Deli, or Honey Baked Ham). If you have never had a Publix sub I highly recommend giving one a try!
