Out of all the Winn Dixie's in the state, this is my go-to. Not only that they always have everything in stock, but it's also clean and the workers there truly enjoy their job. They get along with everyone they work with and it shows in their work ethic. Besides the grocery store with local discounts, they have a Tap Room which makes grocery shopping a lot more exciting when you have a beer in your hand! $3 for any draft pint and you can use your Winn Dixie reward points to get free drinks too! 300 points. Love it here!

Don't get a speeding tkt on these south rollers!

A new grocery store in these Covid days - who woulda thunk? If it weren't for flyers, I wouldn't have known. To be precise it was the lamb rack at $9 and snapper at $3 that drew me there the weekend after opening. So this new WD is at the SE corner of Lake Mary Boul and Longwood LM Rd. Coming north, there's a turn into the mall without having to deal with LM Boul traffic, which was my fear - very convenient! WD hit the jackpot as part of the good-sized mall that has everything from restaurants to a bank; it depends on all the newly- built housing units to its south, from which it will suck, i mean DRAW, its life blood. Time will tell if this business model works. Brand new shopping cards that roll like skates, plentiful staff, what's to not like. Well, how about not having the stuff you advertised, like the rack of lamb? Or, having enough staff behind the counter, and a system of some sort, where you sell the meat and seafood, so that I can pick up a couple of snappers I may want? It's not without basis that I see a fight, verbal or otherwise, between/among customers (not wearing face masks) at that very spot in the coming days. I left with one solitary item after a 20-minute visit and lots of photos, having done my Yelpic duties. I wish them (and all the other shops there) the very best.

I have never been a big fan of Winn-Dixie, mainly because their store are always dingy and their customer service is subpar at best. But over the last few years Winn-Dixie has been stepping up their grocery store game. The way they have been leveling is by revamping their entire approach to what it is to be a good grocery store chain. They have remodeled most of their stores and have started training their employees better so they can provide that top notch customer service that you usually expect from a store like Publix. With all that said I am starting to appreciate the attention to detail that Winn-Dixie is giving their stores and to their customer service that they bring to their customers. In this particular Winn-Dixie they have a Tap-House Bar that is located with in the store, where you can oder yourself a beer or a fancy drink like a long Island Ice Tea get a little tipsy then continue with your grocery shopping. Having a bar inside your local grocery store is pretty lit, it also offers Winn-Dixie another revenue stream to bring in more money and make new customers. I would have to say the only draw back to having a bar inside a grocery store is that you would have to deal with stupid & annoying drunk people while your trying to shop for your groceries. So if your looking for a grocery store that provides good customer service and a place where you can get your drink on while picking up your groceries then check out the Winn-Dixie the next time you are either visiting or driving through Lake Mary Florida.

Great deals for the day! If you need to pick up something quick for dinner that night, they have nice deals that always have me taking a second look. Check out the meat and seafood sections!

Stopped at the taproom while shopping to grab beer. Tommy was working behind the bar, he was very friendly and gave me a great recommendation. Tommy recommended the Special Forces IPA and it was only $3! Highly recommend shopping here.

This new Winn Dixie in Lake Mary this week. Being that it's new, everything seemed clean and bright. However, aisles are VERY tight, which is not great, especially in the age of COVID-19. The new feature they're tauting is a taproom/coffee bar in the middle of the store. This seems such an odd feature for the chain. But there were quite a few people frequenting it while I was there. Parking was limited and I'm not sure if that's because the store just opened or if there are just not enough spaces for this growing plaza with lots of businesses. I'll be sticking to my normal Fern Park store but check it out if you're interested in the new beer/coffee bar.

New store in Lake Mary. Not as big as other locations, but have good quality items. They are also have their new tap room (sort of like a little bar where you can enjoy a glass of beer or wine).

    Sample of craft selection.

Love this Winn-Dixie. Always find great deals and wonderful service. Rib Eyes are by far the best and phenomenal deals. Angela aka Queen of the Winn-Dixie app. The app is wonderful and provides great options. Shelves are always stocked. Their selection of options are not as expansive as other stores. For example, sliced fruit, not having boars head, olive options were limited. Best thing is they have a wonderful bar selection to have a cold beverage for shopping.

Proof my dad went to the store. He was so mad he didn't get wings

I'll pop in grab a few items to throw dinner together later in the evening. Once in a while I stop in to pick up lunch if I don't feel like dining-in anywhere and just want to chill in my car with some music. The sushi, salads, and made-to-order sandwiches have never let me down. Staff are always friendly and the store is kept clean and orderly. This location is very busy and parking can be a PITA but I've never had an issue getting in and out in of here in a reasonable amount of time. On my most recent visit I stopped in to pick up a couple bags of Giovanni Rana Spinach Tortellini (Family Size on sale for $6.99) and Basil pasta sauce for dinner. I also decided to purchase some sushi for lunch. I went with the 10-piece Wednesday Crunchy CA Roll for $5, not bad. It's much cheaper than eating out at Bronx House. When you're on the run it only makes sense to get something quick like this. Plus, I don't recall ever receiving an old or yucky sushi item from Publix, so it's a win all around. This Publix has always been good to me, so no major complaints other than traffic but you have to expect that when coming to this plaza, it's been crazy for as long as I can remember.

The service here was friendly and professional and it has an overall pleasant ambiance. It definitely suits an upscale supermarket. What I like best about the Fresh Market is the quality of their food, especially their meat department and produce department. I came in on a Tuesday because their ground beef and chicken is on sale every Tuesday and their ground beef (which is grounded in-house) and chicken is so superior to every other supermarket. Their steaks are also phenomenal. The Fresh Market is a fantastic option in terms of an upscale supermarket. Their meat department and produce department, as I mentioned are probably my two favorite departments, but the whole supermarket is definitely stellar. The deli is great and even their groceries are good. Oh, don't forget their bakery. They have great cakes and bread. The Fresh Market is a great choice and this location definitely earns five stars. Go check them out for yourself.

I have been an on again off again Fresh Market shopper and have purchased their weekly 'Little Big Meals' or Tuesday's discount meat specials and the occasional deli chicken. I was a little disenchanted because although the quality is good it is not a place I can afford to do a week's worth of grocery shopping. They have very attractive displays and lighting which is kind of like a foodie's kid in a candy store experience. I did not realize what quality deli prepared meals they have for the average $5. I realize this is a marketing attempt to get you into the store but it is totally working for me! These rotating meal deals typically offer a significant discount on popular prepared items. Tuesday: $5 12" Hot and Fresh Pizzas (Deli). There is a limit of 2 per guest. There is a menu so it is not build your own. They offer traditional flavors but also Mike's Hot Honey Pepperoni, Pepe Fromage Pizza and my favorite Ensalada which is topped with arugula, red onions and a balsamic reduction. Wednesday: $5 Paninis (Deli). Thursday: $5 Bistro Meals or $5 Whole Roasted Chickens (Deli). Bistro Meals typically include one entrée and two sides; guests can often purchase up to 4. This is a deal because many times the protein alone would be more than the $5 meal deal. You get to choose two of any cold deli salad or hot side items. I think going early is key so you get the run of the protein choices. They also offer $5 roasted chickens and my favorite flavor is garlic thyme. These go fast. Friday: $5/lb Cooked Chicken Wings (Deli). There are roughly 12 wings in a pound. Sauce flavors are Parmesan garlic, Buffalo, BBQ and plain. They usually have one flavor of sauced wings in the case but can add the sauce of your choice to the plain wings. The Fresh Market employees in the Deli department have proven to be very patient. There can be a line up to order a meal but they don't rush you. One night I wanted the garlic thyme flavor chicken and they had the last batch in the oven. It was around seven and she said they would be ready in 15 minutes and would set one aside for me. As a budget conscious shopper who still wants restaurant quality meals these deals hit the spot.

At times this one has better subs an fried chicken, but there are times when it's better at the other store. It's crazy how prices have soared at Publix over the years. I remember when you could get a full sub for $6.99 and a box of chicken for almost the same price. Now, a full Italian will cost you $10 and a box of fried chicken wings is $16. In the old days, you could find a two for one bag of chips for $5 now its abot $7. However, if they're not having any sales you're looking at spending $6 a bag, it's crazy. Oh and a gallon of lemonade or tea used to be two for $5, now it will run you $7 for the same deal. My team loves these M&M cookies which cost about $4 back in the day, now they are $6.19. Once in a while we'll pick up a cake and some ice cream for a birthday. The cheaper cakes cost about $7. And a tub of Blue Bell ice cream is about $9.20. Specialty cakes are anywhere from $15-$30. We usually buy for a group of seven or eight people, so we easily spend $100 or more each time we come here yet It's still cheaper than going to most other places in the area and you'll get a lot more for your money. We like to put our order in around 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. so we can pick up by 11:00 a.m., just in time for lunch - anytime after that Publix is pretty well slammed and you might be eating after 1:00 p.m. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you are in the area and craving a great sub you have several options but Publix will cost you the least out of all of them (Laspadas, Jersey Mike's, Upsala Grocery, Firehouse, Jason's Deli, or Honey Baked Ham). If you have never had a Publix sub I highly recommend giving one a try!
