The staff are very friendly and eager to help. I popped in for some lunch but was pleasantly surprised at how many other goods that they had to offer. From pork rinds to boiled peanuts to fresh orange juice to candy and much, much more, this place has something for everyone! A fellow patron informed me that their baby back ribs and key lime pie were amazing. So naturally, I had to order the ribs for my lunch. I also ordered the brisket sandwich with smoked potatoes and collard greens. The meats were very flavorful and tender. The collards were salty and delicious. I think my favorite would have to be the smoked potatoes. I'm not sure how they do it but they have a wonderfully infused smoky flavor. All in all, this is a wonderful family business and I can't wait to come back to try more!

Having worked retail for over 40 years, I make a point to always be pleasant to the cashiers. For some odd reason, the employees working the registers at this store don't speak. This morning the bias was quite obvious. I said 'Good Morning', handed my recyclable bag to the woman on the register, I only had two items, so it was a quick transaction. Not only did I not get a 'good morning' back, my items were left for me to bag. I find it ODD that the hispanic gentleman behind me got a warm welcome, but for whatever reason, I did not. I don't like to use the term 'discrimination' but that seems to be a common practice at this store if you're a different race. I won't be shopping there again. There are plenty of other friendly stores in the area!

This is in the old Albertson space that's shared with L.A. Fitness. Parking is convenient and available. It's about the same size as Altamonte, perhaps a touch smaller. Yes they have meats here too (unlike the smaller Longwood store), but about the only meat I've purchased is beef shank, since they look OK and are a bit more reasonably-priced than grocery stores. This location also has a few more ethnic choices (other than Hispanic): you can get king mushrooms here, for instance. The only thing that I don't like is the check-out lines, which feel more cramped. I've only visited during non-peak hours; I can't imagine how chaotic it could get when they're busy!

The stores pricing is on par with farmers markets you would find in downtown Sanford, Longwood, or Deltona. The beefsteak tomatoes, fresh beets, and acorn squash looked amazing and are some of the largest I have seen around. The store is clean and organized. There was one staff member working at the register when we arrived and she was very nice with me when I was checking out. I will definitely stop back for more of that dried mango and some of their other vegetables next time I'm in the area.

I'm here to talk MEAT. My praise goes to their beef, pork and chicken which taste like the actual animals they came from. No bland chicken or pork you could confuse with tofu. These meats have FLAVOR. You really only need salt and pepper on any of them to have a delicious protein on your plate. I love that they run out of things too. Why? Because you know they're not a mega farm with thousands of pounds of frozen, mass produced product on hand. If they sell out, it's because they only have so many animals ready at one time. But in all my trips there they've only been out of a few things and they'll take a rain check for when they have it again. The prepared foods are pretty good, I've never done the prepared dinners but their sausages are good, especially the bacon and cheddar ones. It's especially nice that Lighthouse Seafood is right next door so you can do a surf and turf meal with one stop!

They do have a vegetable and fruit spender that has reasonably priced vegetables such as $5, a bowl for potatoes, the tomatillas, onions, squashes, and so much other things. Amount of samples for the fruit so you can try before you buy. They've got a plethora of Chili's to spice up your food. Plus this farmers market is inside of a park next to the fire station and across the street from the police station. So I've never felt more safe going to a farmers market in my life.
