I shop here often. Considering they are the only grocery the area, they don't have to try hard, but they do. The staff is helpful. The store manager keeps plenty of lines open, which is great. They have cart gathering that is on top of it especially since it is a busy place and a crowded lot. The bakery staff does a great job. (Just got a Super Bowl full sheet cake that was delicious and decorated perfectly). The store also gives great support to local charities. Thank you for that! read more

Do NOT DO NOT DON'T buy grapes from here.... For over 2 years have watched one of the produce guys eat out of different bags if grapes and put his hand in other bags and eat more grapes. We have complained to the store multiple times, even taken pictures and sent to their corporate office but the same guy is STILL there and still eating grapes out if the bag!!! Disgusting?!!! I don't want his mouth and hand germs all over my grapes!!!! Will not buy them from here!!!! read more

While vacationing in Key West, we had to do a little grocery shopping. We went to Winn Dixie because it was the only 'grocery' store. It's a typical grocery store, nothing out of the ordinary, prices comparable with those in Chicago. What stood out the most for me was our cashier, Sunnie. Very old interior, but what do you expect from an old time grocery store in the relaxing old time land of the Keys. You can come here and get what you need when the CVS or Walgreens doesn't have what you need. What is great about this place is that WinnDixie has thier own brand that is very very inexpensive! This is a nice Winn Dixie store, and much nicer than the ones I usually frequent. They have a nice selection of products here. The store is large and fully stocked. The wine selection is extensive. The employees were friendly and helpful. read more

My favorite supermarket and in Big Pine Key I find the assortment of items carried is perefect. Picked up a beatiful key lime pie and chocolate eclairs to bring to my friends house for dessert. Than I got drinks the wine selection was great. Everything is very reasonably priced as well as get additional savings and gas credits with your Winn Dixie card. read more

I would like to thank Elaine in the floral department for the awesome help she gave us when we were ordering flowers for my daughter's small family wedding. After we picked up the flowers she litteraly chased us down in the store because she wanted to be sure we knew a "secret" to open the buds up a little! She called me all panicked about the head baker being sick and we had ordered a wedding cake for our family. Watch expiration dates on foods here. If brands matter to you, better stop at Publix first. The shopping center management recently chopped down every tree so there is no shade for cars. Other than that, you will be able to find most of what you want and the manager is great. read more

Don't shop here. The other day I bought six items. Three of them were on sale. When I got to the checkout, I presented my card to cashier. None of the items rang up sale prices. Cashier told me to go to the office. The office clerk had to look at every item before determining I was correct. Lines were backing up and customers were complaining. Instead of $27, my bill was $15. I was refunded $12. Never shop here again. Prices are never right and my wife recently got sick from eating their lunchmeat. Thirty minute drive to Marathon Public worth it!!! read more

since the remodel it has sooo much improved. considering the obsticals (hurrricne) i think service has been remarkable. employees are helpful and friendly. so what if thay closed early for a bit there was a curfrew duh?? and everyone had their own clean up to attend to. it is clean well lit friendly people been here 24 yrs lots of improvement read more

I live near the Winn Dixie on Big Pine Key ... all year round. It is very rare that I make a visit to the store and have to leave the store without an item that I need. Publix is much better but I have to driver much further to get to either the Key West or Marathon store. And, I have to do that quite often. This has been an ongoing problem for years! read more
