Stopped in to grab some grocery items since I was close by and I must say this was not my favorite location. Store is confusing compared to most and more compact it seems like. Items were well stocked but selection was limited in a few aisles compared to the one I normally visit. Service was ok, not bad or excellent as most used self check out which is also not my favorite thing. First time and wasn't impressed. read more

I have always liked grocery shopping at Winn Dixie. The sales and rewards program are great! I am very heart broken that the one five miles from my home is closing and Aldi is taking its place. Now I will have to patronize the on further down the road on Main Street. read more

The store is always clean, produce is fresh, staff is friendly, and the deals on seafood are unmatched! I love the hot wings bar, salad bar, and hot food bar as well. I haven't gotten a sandwhich made yet, but will. I prefer this Winn Dixie over my Publix unless I am have some good BOGO deals at Publix. read more

This is by far my most favorite Winn Dixie. It's a drive from me but I don't mind making it since I go maybe twice a month. This location is always clean and the shelves make my OCD very happy lol! Their display cases for their seafood and meats are always crystal clear. This location also has a hot food bar that has wings dipped in various flavors, fried chicken, roast, salmon and many other yummy selections. They have a sub station where they will make your sub anyways you like with fresh toppings and also there was a fresh sushi station where an employee was making rolls. Today I went because they were having great BoGo Sales on fruit and veggies which I wanted to stock up on in addition to getting some groceries for the house. If your in the area you have to stop by. If you aren't in the area you should make a trip to check out this one of a kind Winn Dixie! read more

Today I went out of my way to stop at this store to purchase the mixed fresh melons advertised in the new ad that came out today. When I arrived there were no containers with the advertised mixed melon. There wasn't even a SALE tag on the shelf. I asked the produce clerk for them and he informed me they were "out of it." This was only a few hours after they opened. Already out of an item on the first morning of a new sale? Sadly, over the past few months, the advertised fresh fruit has not been available nor a SALE tag posted, no matter when I stopped to buy it. I never have this problem at Publix. Winn Dixie is really stepping there game up with this new store! The Deli is HUGE and they have a large variety of hot and ready food. The store is usually clean and well stocked. They have great deals and I've never had any issues there. There is a ton of parking space and plenty of carts so you're not fighting for one. I do most of my grocery shopping here and will continue to for the foreseeable future. read more

I live in a nearby city, but shopped at Winn Dixie today in Apopka. It was great! The employees I interacted with on 3/10 were friendly and personable. The layout of the store and its many healthy options were very much appreciated. I can't have grain but I found crackers, chips, and cereal. It was delightful to shop for a change. I interacted with the pharmacy staff who were also friendly, organized and knowledgeable. read more

I hate this store with a passion. This grocery store is just outside my neighborhood. I would choose Walmart over Winn Dixie and most everyone knows how much I hate Walmart. I have bought bad chicken twice at this location, not to mention stale taco shells and potato chips. My husband asked me to just run in and grab a few things for him to make for dinner tonight.. ugh. Nice liquor store however for a bourbon lover no really good allocated bottles like George T Stagg ever are offered for sale as the "bosses" buy it before it makes it to the shelf. To say that I avoided this place before it was remodeled is an understatement. My wife had dubbed it "Winn Stinky," and rightfully so. Now, it is my favorite grocery store in the Apopka area. The major remodel has totally revamped the store, and a management overhaul must have taken place as well. Awesomeness includes.....wing bar, hot food bars, make your own pizza/pasta, fresh bakery, and above average meat/fish selection. They also do wine tastings there on a semi-regular basis, as well as food samples around the store. Produce is now abundant and fresh, and the shelves are stocked well. As another plus, they now do the fuel perks program with Shell Gas that earns you $$ off with purchase of groceries, plus they offer bonus items throughout the store to earn more. With three of us in the family, I typically get to about $.40 off per gallon a month, nothing to scoff at. Lastly, they have these truly spectacular little carts for kids. My 2 year old refers to it as the "shopping cart store" due to this, and loves to push that little thing all over the place. No other grocery store in the area offers that. read more

This Winn Dixie grocery store has recently been remodeled. It's amazing what a little paint and moving around a few shelves can do. I see a lot more variety than before, especially organic, gluten free, and vegan items. This is my new first stop for groceries in the area. So glad to see all the improvements. read more

Really nifty newer WD with the Wing Bar, Wine Cellar and all off of the Trail (Orange Blossom - that is...haha) . It was clean and bright and cheery. By the way has anybody been in WD lately? They have dropped their prices substantially- holy cow-and about time!!! The service was with a smile...and the place was clean. Why did I deduct a star then? because I had to track someone down to get a balloon from the floral area and then the girl didn't even put the ribbon on one of the balloons. Otherwise, I was pretty impressed for a WD!!! You can recognize the newer WD with the wing bar and all by seeing a check mark in the sign up front. Go figure! read more

This is by far my fav grocery store, so much that I will drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to this Winn Dixie! I have lived in Apopka for over 20 years and this Winn Dixie used to by horrible! Used to be dirty, grimy, and just not somewhere I would want to purchase the food I'll be eating from. NOW its amazeballs...yep I just said Amazeballs! Can a grocery store be beautiful inside? This one is! Newly renovated, organized, & the staff is beyond helpful! I was craving stuffed pork chops one night for dinner but was too lazy to do the "stuffing" part myself. I asked the gentleman in the meat section if he had pre-stuffed ready to go pork chops...they didn't so this awesome guy took the porkchops went and grabbed all the stuffing ingredients and told me to give him 5 minutes. BOOM! I had the greatest most delish stuffed pork chops! My husband came home thinking I was freaking Martha Stewart! The best thing about this Winn Dixie is that they actually act like the care about your experience. The guy who created the stuffed pork chops for me? He didn't even flinch to help and was almost happy to! Thank you Winn Dixie meat guy for making me look like a cooking goddess! read more

Since their remodel, this Winn Dixie has taken the meaning of "service" to another level. A considerable spectrum of products and a great section of prepared foods for your lunch and experiences.. This Winn Dixie has just completed a major overhaul. This grocery store won't look like any Winn Dixie you've ever seen! The inside looks more like a Whole Foods- in fact, that is exactly what they were trying to do. When you enter the first thing you notice are the plentiful, vibrant fruits, veggies and flowers. This large section leads you back to a bakery with gorgeous display racks of fresh baked breads and gourmet pastries, cakes and cookies. Yes, that's right, I said gourmet in a Winn Dixie review. I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't seen it. The rest of the store, although bright and clean, appeared disheveled but it WAS packed. There were tons of employees around and they were all EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I was greeted by each one I passed. Wow, I'm impressed! They even had a cafe upfront with a seating area, TV and free coffee. This store has me wishing I lived closer! read more

I am normally a Publix shopper, but this Winn Dixie rivals them in a big way. It is HUGE, and has a great fresh cooked food section. Also the fresh vegetable section is awesome- much like Whole Foods. While I don't come here all of the time, it is a great choice when I need convenience. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The people at this store are caring and helpful! I had a car issue and the store manager and the staff were very helpful when I was in need. They looked up information online and made calls and more. They even offered to replace any groceries that might melt etc. while waiting for AAA! WOW!! I'm not a big fan of Winn Dixie in general perhaps because I've been spoiled by Whole Foods and Greenwise Publix but this Winn Dixie is something else..... great place for lunch. They have a salad bar, pizzas, a full section of prepared food, a wings bar and a BBQ bar ....yes a BBQ bar. Never seen this many selections at a Winn Dixie before if they renovate all of their stores I would become a regular. read more

The pharmacy here is great they are very helpful. And the store is always clean and with their self checkout there is hardly any line.

Management is very rude and they pass judgment on customers that are on wic. All customers should be treated with respect. I will switch back to shopping at Publix. read more

This is by far the worst experience I've had. I recently went 2 days ago to buy groceries, upon checkout, it started pouring rain like massive rain, so My total was like $56, I paid with $100 bill. The girl handed me the change, which included 2 bills of $20. In hurry to avoid the rainy weather and trying to hurry up for the customers behind me, I shoved my change into my wallet. Next day when I pull out one of the $20 bill, i noticed it was super fake. I was livid to say the least. So I went to my bank to turn it in, of course Winn Dixie didn't do anything about it. At least they should have some type of system to avoid fraud. So I'm out $20. Very bad experience read more

Good prices, decent selection. The service here is not that great. They are far below Publix in that respect. No one ever greets me or asks if I'm finding everything ok when I'm walking through the store. I'm obviously pregnant and even still no one asks me if I need help taking groceries to the car. The deli closes at 8 which is crazy early and everyone over there seems to really not want to help you. The pharmacy is awesome. No complaints there. The veggies go bad waaaaaay too fast. Sometimes the veggie section will be strangely empty, as if someone forgot to order the right amount of inventory. If there was a closer Publix, I would go there instead because the service thing really bothers me more than anything else. read more

I give this Panera 5 stars! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I have been here multiple times...everything is always on point. They did forget the meat in my sandwich one time and I didn't realize it until I was home. But one mess up out of all the times I have been there is definitely forgivable. read more
