These are the nicest folks to deal with and we've built our own house - a lot of which came from Castle Rock Building supply. The quality of the lumber compared to the big box stores is far superior, and usually at a better price. We've ordered custom milled maple for the window trim and countertops, custom windows, endless supplies of 2X lumber, plywood, flooring, Trex & cedar decking, fence posts etc. and always received the order on time and with a smile. If we aren't able to drive in and pick up the order, they are happy to bring it to us. GREAT SERVICE. We always shop here first before going anywhere else. Highly recommended!!

I just left the Castle Rock building supply store hoping they'd have some Topsoil because Four Corners was out. The lady laughed at me and said oh no we don't carry garden stuff. It just rubbed me the wrong way how she said it and snickered. On my way in, I looked at some Garden tools they had out front. I ask her about those and she said all those are for concrete. I thought to myself okay whatever, they look like garden tools to me. I proceeded to look around a little bit to see if there was anything I needed since I am repairing a fence. I could have possibly bought something and I did want to go look at their Lumber so I decided to give her one more chance. I walk towards the front door and waited for her to say thank you for coming in or sorry we couldn't help or have a nice day. Nope nothing. So needless to say they won't be getting my business. It's unfortunate and I'm assuming that they're struggling just like any other business is with the pandemic. So all I have to say is GOOD LUCK lady and I won't be back. I am a handy person and have lots of projects but I would rather go to Home Depot or Lowes. I could go on and tell you how she spoke to the next customer but I need to get back to my fence. I will say it wasn't professional either.

Walking in, you're immediately greeted by whomever is working and respectfully asked if there is something you need help with. This is appreciated and valued because it's done in a way that doesn't come off as intrusive or annoying (as sometimes it can be felt that way at other stores). Anderson's prides itself as being a hometown store, having a good selection of what's needed, and providing high quality customer service. They might not be big in size, but they have a lot of products that you can't find at other big box hardware stores ... along with big sized care and commitment to finding what you need. I have been there 3 times in the last month to buy fire logs. Only once did a young man ask if he could help and carried the box of 12 out for me. Today I purchased 36, sliced my finger open while loading them into the cart, stood in line waiting while my finger dripped and finally the cashier called to the back to bring out a bandaid. Personally, I find The Home Depot and Lowes way too overwhelming and loud. At Lincoln Creek, I feel like I'm walking into the hometown hardware store that I went to with my dad as a kid. With a smiling greeting at the door, a "what can I help you with" attitude, and a friendly, good-natured personality ... Lincoln Creek has it down. Sure, their prices can be a wee bit higher than those mentioned above. However, the staff is very kind and helpful. They all know where items are and don't need to "call" anyone to figure out which aisle something is in. Their selection is pretty darn good for not being a big box store, with me finding pretty much everything I need at each visit. Sometimes they don't have what I need, but it's rare that I can't find an alternative. The best part of the store is Larry and the paint department. Larry is the paint master, being able to match colors perfectly and tinker with the formulas to make them work. They stock B. Moore which is even better. Lastly, they have a very large Lumber department in which you can find most anything that you need. The only section that needs some love and is routinely lacking is the garden/plant section. Their selection of plants, flowers, etc. is pretty sad. All in all though, Lincoln Creek is our first stop. I like it. The kids like it. It's a safe, good place to go. They will keep on seeing our faces there.

The old downtown feel was welcoming with book stores, coffee shops, and bakeries with plenty of parking right in front of the shops. Sisters had such a fantastic selection of store made/selected fabrics, kits, patterns, and fat quarters that you will find plenty of wonderful things to take home.

She didn't do nothing to assume that it was tight or loose or broken or damage or nothing she didn't ask me. When did you do this? What happened? How can we assist you? Weirdest experience ever. I have been a long time customer. We see tractor supply on a weekly basis…read morebecause we have a ton of livestock at our house plus a large garden. Today I went in there, chatting it up with Samantha (who was absolutely amazing btw) she showed us where their vegetables were & talked to us about our ducks. Went to pay & told them I'm using my dads credit card, they asked me for his social which I don't know off the top of my head and have never had to use it before. I told them I'd give him a call. Shannon started freaking out saying I was trying to steal (I was only buying dog food for my dads dogs) I told her I wasn't trying to steal dog food. Ended up paying is cash because Shannon was telling me I was lying and I was never allowed back. This was so weird and something I have never encounter before. We've bought all our feed from them and even livestock but we will never be back. Shannon was the worst type of human I have ever seen and she came at me and made me feel so uncomfortable for no reason. Just trying to buy dog food lol. The only reason they got two stars is because of Samantha. She really deserved all 5 but Shannon was so horrible to us that was ruined. I can't believe I was put in such an uncomfortable position trying to buys DOG FOOD. thank you to Samantha for trying to calm the situation you were so wonderful to us and I pray for you having to work with people so negative.
