After hearing a lot of accolades for this place, I decided to stop in and give it a whirl; after all, wings are flying around somewhere near the top of my food chain.
Overall, it's not too bad. You get pretty much exactly what you'd expect: wings in a basket served with your choice of a side: fries or carrots and celery.
I wondered what type of hen they're using for the wings, as they seemed significantly smaller than what I'm used to from other wing places around the valley. Even so, they were still delicious and didn't lack in flavor... just substance. That being the case, you can safely order the 10-wing meal and you'll find that it fills you about the same as a 6-wing meal might in other places.
I would recommend trying the wings with a rub (caution: the Louisiana rub is spicier than you'd think, but so delicious), as that lets the chicken's flavor shine through the most. The wings with sauce came out with waaaay too much sauce; so much so, that I couldn't taste the chicken underneath it all. In fact, after eating 9 wings, I realized my 10th one was still there, but buried under a pool of sauce so that I couldn't see it.
I guess that's probably a good thing for some of you, but I believe a sauce should compliment the meat, not overwhelm it. So, dry rubs, yes. Sauces, not so much.
Other notes of interest:
* The employees were all very friendly and helpful
* They brought out a fresh batch of 'Freshly Brewed Iced Tea' and it was warmer than room temp, definitely not iced or chilled. That was disappointing... the flavor though is equivalent to pretty much every other restaurant iced tea out there.
* THERE WERE NO POST-MEAL HAND NAPPYS!!!! :( So... bring your own or prepare yourselves for sticky hands until the bathroom is not in use and you can touch everything with your sticky fingers.
* The napkin situation is awkward. They basically have a roll of non-perforated stiff, brown paper towels up by the drink dispenser. You end up taking way more than is needed or you forget to grab them at the beginning, and you wind up having to get them after your hands are already sticky.
* The sauces had a mass-manufactured texture and flavor to them (I'm not sure if they're made in house via a large recipe or ordered from headquarters). I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing for overall consistency, but they didn't stand out as being exceptional for any reason either.
I dunno. I'd give this place more stars, if it weren't for the awkward eating atmosphere with little things (like no hand nappies and weird paper towels) that made eating there more difficult and awkward than it needs to be. Also if they'd hold back on the sauce just a little bit.
Will I be back? Sure, I think so. I'd like to try some of their other rubs and sauces still and see how consistent the service is. Besides, they're wings.

2nd Visit Update
-------------------------
Different employees this time around. I've decided that they just really like to season and sauce their chicken wings, even the dry rubs might be a little over-seasoned, and I'd still like slightly larger wings; they're pretty wimpy.
So far, I've tried (and they're listed in the order I liked them):
* Lemon Pepper (rub, this will likely be my go-to)
* Louisiana Rub (rub, obviously)
* Garlic Parmesan (rub)
* Hawaiian (sauce, semi-sweet)
* BBQ (sauce, tasted bland)
Sauces still remain sub-par to me. The Lemon Pepper rub in its simplicity was outstanding. read more
