The chicken at wingstop is pretty good, when serviced with a sauce the chicken is still crispy, fresh, and is fairly sized. One complaint I have is that the chicken seems to be served with too much sauce which creates a bigger mess than necessary when eating and the chicken gets soggier quicker. Customer Service (4/5) -They do their job, aren't rude, and the chicken gets done in a timely manner. If you go with a group the chicken also doesn't take forever which is a huge plus. Small location tucked into The Landing in Renton. Very small inside, maybe five tables? Obviously meant more for take out - which is fine. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. I've tried the BBQ Chicken Fingers (the bbq sauce is very good - got a kick to it!), and I have also tried the Lemon Pepper Boneless Wings (dip them in ranch - yum). My boyfriend says the Louisiana Rub is his favorite flavor. Don't complain if your food takes long - it's being made FRESH. So it is not just pre-made sitting under a heat lamp - it is SO worth the wait. Seriously. If you're really in that big of a hurry, order ahead of time online. The staff is very friendly, always smiling upon entry, and friendly throughout the ordering process. No trash cans, kinda weird, but whatever. It's clean inside, and the employees stay on top of keeping it that way (I'm sure it's different when it's busy, just as it is anywhere when somewhere is busy, people can't be everywhere at once). I Have been to this Wing Stop on several occasions, its owned by former Seattle Seahawks receiver Sidney Rice. The Wings are really good, especially love boneless! The various flavor offerings are great as well. I highly recommend the Lemon Pepper & Louisiana Rub flavors, simply the best!! The wings are made to order, expect to wait 15-20 minutes for your food if you don't call ahead.The location is on the small side, maybe 12 tables in the entire place. The thing I found odd when I first went here was they do not have trash cans, just leave it on the table. The place is kept really clean, and is conveniently located in the Renton Landing shopping center next to Jimmy Johns. The wing/fry sauces they have available are: Atomic, Mango Habanero, Cajun, Original Hot, Louisiana Rub, Serrano Pepper Glaze, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, Teriyaki or Plain, whew! I personally like the lemon pepper, original hot and the Louisiana Rub, nummy!!! Their rolls are also super delicious and baked in house so they are warm and soft, great if you're craving something other than just fries. The teriyaki sauce was so salty I nearly gagged, and the wings were just slathered in sauce. I tried to wipe off as much as I could, but the breading made it difficult. The hickory smoked BBQ was less salty, but the wings were still over-sauced. My wife had the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan; hers were pretty good she said, though again very salty. I don't know that I've ever left a chicken wing un-eaten on my plate (boneless or not), but I left a couple teriyaki wings that day. I just couldn't absorb any more sodium! The french fries were fresh and quite good, but also salted extremely heavily. My son liked them (he didn't have any of the chicken). I saw people at another table with these delicious-looking buns coated in melted butter, so in an attempt to salvage this terrible meal I ordered two of the buns. They were terrible; the outside was warm and covered in melted butter, but the inside was cold and try. So they must be frozen and heated up on-demand. The napkin situation is the same at every location idk why but it's a paper towel on the counter it is what it is. The food takes long but it always comes out so crisp and hot and delicious. The people at the counter are always polite just doing their job can't help that they have a ton of orders and it's chicken.. you want it to be safe to eat right? Smaller location than Bellevue and Southcenter, but everything is the same in comparison to Southcenters location, which is my favorite. The wait time seems to be typical at every location, whether it's here or in Long Beach, CA. It take's a while, but it's worth the wait. The food is just as great and they have some really friendly workers there. I was telling my boyfriend how it's crazy that it's considered a fast food restaurant, yet all of their employees deliver really good customer service, as if they're in a nicer restaurant. Kudos to whoever is doing the hiring and the great employees they're finding. The employees don't seem miserable working there, which says a lot. Wingstop is a pretty great place to go if you are looking for quality wings and don't wanna sit and eat with 5 million people. With that being said, it's a small restaurant with about 5 tables so unless you can grab a table, its probably best to order your food to go. The wings here are really yummy, fried to perfection and aren't oversized or super small either. Ive tried the original hot, lemon pepper, mango habanero and the louisiana rub. The last two are my favorites and I didn't really care for the original hot sauce. The flavor was really really strange... Anyways had large french fries as well and the portion was great. I RARELY write reviews but my experience has to be documented.Literally the most unprofessional restaurants I've ever been too. I did a mobile Order for pickup. When I ordered my food I got an email stating that it will be ready for pick up at 10:08. So I showed up at 10:08. When I went to pay, the guy took my card and just left me waiting for it back and disappeared. A couple minutes later a different worker came and rudely asked me what I was waiting for and I told her my card and then the original guy came back, finally ran my card, it had just been siting next to the machine apparently and then asked the back where my order was... and MY ORDER HADNT EVEN BEEN STARTED YET AND AT THIS TIME IT WAS 10:15. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I purposely pre ordered to avoid this and now I have to wait for it to be ready! I have no problem waiting if I didn't pre order or waiting a couple minutes past the pick up time. But if you're telling me it's going to be ready at 10:08 and it's 10:15 and it hasn't even been started yet, that's a problem. It's not like it was busy, people were just being unprofessional and not doing their jobs. The food tasted fine but the experience alone made it so I will NEVER return to this wing stop. We USED to love this Wingstop like a year ago. Unfortunately, it's gone down hill so much we go to the Southcenter store and we live in Renton! Our orders are never correct... for example we'll pay for all drums (this has happened multiple times) and get both. Or our wings will be overcooked with hardly any sauce (I like Honey Barbeque). We had a terrible experience with the fries tasting old and rotten. The way the employees interact with each other it seems like it's more of a hang-out verses a place of business. It's often dirty near the cash machine, lack of supplies. The last straw with this location was my husband and I took our kids and my dad to eat there (it was my dad's first time) on a Sunday afternoon and the music was SO inappropriate. I'm talking Lil Yachty, Black Beatles, etc. My dad said he wasn't interested in listening to that music while trying to enjoy his food and left. My husband and I are not super strict regarding what our kids listen to but this music is something maybe our high school child would try to listen to- not our little elementary aged kids and my dad.
