We ordered a Family Deal for 4 and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes which it was. The restaurant itself is not open for dining right now but the ambiance is really cool. It's decked out in Raps/Leafs/Jays stuff and there are cozy booth seats with TVs all around. The Family Deal was more than enough food and we had a lot of wing leftovers. The wings were large and really crispy even though they had been tossed in the sauce. I'd say that there were slightly more drumsticks than there were wings if that matters to you. The flavours we tried were the 40 Creek BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Raps on the Ranch. They were all good and I think they were especially good in combination since the Raps flavour was creamy, the honey mustard was tangy, and the BBQ was well, BBQ. The fries were very crispy (and salty although I don't mind) and very good with the gravy. I'm still trying to canvas the entire area for all the different wing offerings but you definitely can't go wrong with this place!

(Take out) Impressions: all the positive reviews may be about the volume and price than delicacy. We ordered: # Crispy buffalo chicken sandwich (side: onion rings) $13: The chicken was supposed to be crispy, but it was not. Yes, it was take-out so that may be the factor. However, the chicken was drenched with sauce... the focus was volume (with onion rings) and sauce, rather than the texture. # Single dawg (Side: beans) $26.50: Came with 1/4 pound Beef Brisket and 1/4 pound pulled pork, drizzled with HD bbq sauce. And 3 bone St. Louis Ribs. Again, huge volume for the price. Abundant French fries. But the brisket texture was mediocre. Pulled pork was tender, but beef brisket and ribs were crunchy at the edges and inside was a bit dry. It came with 2 slider buns, regular small buns which were grocery store level. # Poutine (large, $9): Huge, but nothing special otherwise. The gravy did not taste natural, but good enough. As good as fast food chain. The fries are homestyle. I did not try their wings which are their most popular items with variety of flavors. May be I want to try them. Who does not like wing deals on a lazy relaxing Friday night!?

This was our most recent visit to St Louis bar & grill. We were looking for a good happy hour deal…read moreand saw the $4 appies and drinks. We ordered Angus burger with fries $12.99 and Chicken lettuce wraps $11.99. The burger was thick and juicy. Great tasting burger with nice grilled taste. The fries portion was too small. Perhaps cost cutting since it was in the happ hour menu. The chicken lettuce wraps were top notch excellent flavor profile. I can taste the hoisin sauce and mixture of fried onion rings, peppers, and onions. Great dish, only wish they gave more lettuce. The beers are cheap here however when the server offerred us an upgrade to Devil sized draughts for $1 we were sold on it. Unfortunately, when the bill came we were charged $6.99 per 24oz pint instead of $5. My wife didn't want to complain and paid the bill. This left a bad taste in our mouth no pun intended. Please do not mislead customers on drink upgrades or ensure the accuracy of the order. Overall, the happy hour menu is decent. We will try the $4 sliders, cheesy honey buns, and pickle coins next time. Beware of food and beverage upgrades and check your bill before paying. I hope the service and food portions improve next time. It will be a while before I come back! This was our most recent visit to St Louis bar & grill. I ordered my usual Lemon Pepper dry rubbed wings, with fries. It was a good portion, with crispy fries but the wings appeared really dark and a bit burnt. Maybe stale oil? This little Wing Stop offers some delicious wings in Ajax backed by amazing service…read more The prices are very good for the amount of wings and fries in a single combo (with drink!). The wings are breaded, crispy, and the sauce takes them over the top. The fries have bite, and they're golden brown. But all of this pales in comparison to the incredible service. One woman is working hard running the front of the house and take-out while the cook runs the kitchen in the back. Two people are absolutely rocking the place. My only gripe is the bathrooms need a bit of a helping hand, the toilet paper ran out and they need some cleaning. I really love the wings here and I'll be back for more!

I found The Wing Spot on Yelp. On Saturday, I decided to have lunch here after running some errands…read morein Ajax. Where there are wings, there's me. The Wing Spot is next door to Sunset Grill. I love Sunset Grill. For a brief second, I had thought about going right. Instead, I stuck to my gameplan and went left. The place was empty just before 2 pm. I decided to dine in. There were plenty of booths and NCAA basketball games were on all TVs. My server was great, but perhaps too chatty. He told me that they were short-staffed and that he was working extra hours. Um, okay. I got a menu and took a look. I went with the single deal, which is a pound of wings (you choose one flavour only), with fries and veggies, and a can of pop. I didn't see the fries and veggies part until my server let me know. So, his chattiness did help. He also let me know that this place has been open since December 2018. I asked for gravy for the fries. It was going for $2. I was game. I also went with garlic explosion for my wings. I got my food pretty fast. He also came back with napkins and cutlery, as they were missing at the table. The wings were hot, crispy, and packed with flavour. I loved the garlic explosion so much that I ended up dipping my fries in the gravy, and then rolling them in what was left of the garlic explosion mix in my basket. So good! The gravy was delicious! It came piping hot and made regular fries a ton better. The veggies consisted of one carrot stick and one celery stick. If you are looking for a serving of veggies, you aren't getting them here. It came with ranch dressing, which was good. The garlic flavour lingered in my mouth for nearly two hours. It's a good sign of deliciousness for me. Sure, you will die if I breath on you, but that's a risk that you may need to take. The server had obviously worked more hours than he should have. He let me know that he was leaving and apologized for perhaps looking unprofessional. I completely understood and his heart was in the right place. The downside was the pass-off between this server, the guy in the kitchen, and the new guy taking over serving duties. I heard my server talk to the kitchen guy that I was in the dining area. The kitchen guy didn't tell the new guy. So, I didn't get any service. Instead, I went up to the counter and asked for my bill. I don't blame the new server taking over. He didn't know. There needs to be better communication between staff members, so that customers are not left hanging. This place accepts debit and credit cards, and cash. I paid with a debit card. The washroom is unisex. There is only one. It was clean and spacious. There were tons of hooks to hang up your jacket or purse, which I appreciated. I felt comfortable eating here. There were lots of games to watch and the booth was roomy. I'd come back here again. There were many folks ordering takeout. I may just do the same where I am in town again, likely giving Sunset Grill a visit. (108)
