I've already heard and seen the growing number of Wingstop branches in the Philippines recently. I've even gotten to pass by its Eastwood branch but have not had the chance to try it out until a few days back.
As a wing person, I'm uber particular with flavor. I think chicken wings are one of the best types of meat to play around with. I mean, there are a ton of flavors you can create to season and coat these babies with. It's all a matter of being creative enough to come up with something just out of the ordinary. And I'm super glad Wingstop has finally brought that to the Philippines.
They've got a variety of flavors that some can be considered classic and the remaining to be the edgier flavors. They've got the staples: Hickory Smoked Barbeque, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon and Pepper. And they've also brought in some unusual suspects: Mango Habanero (which is their second spiciest sauce), Cajun, Louisiana Hot and more! They've definitely raised the wings game here in the Philippines!
Apart from wings, they also serve chicken balls (which are kind of like the size of nuggets) and chicken tenders. They also serve Chipotle rice - savory rice that perfectly complements your meat. Yum!!!
We went there on a Friday night and the place was packed so we had to wait a little before we got a table. The branch in Estancia is quite small compared to their Eastwood branch (I have yet to see their other branches) so seating might be a problem during lunch or dinner.
For about two people, it'll probably cost you 600-800 pesos. read more
