I'm removing my previous poor review of this Wingstop location with a giant congrats for the improvements! I've visited this location several times since my previous review and I'm amazed in the improvements! The food is top notch, sauced and tossed just the way I expect. The employees are friendly and helpful! Order ready when they say it'll be ready... Way to go team!!! And thank you read more

This is the THIRD issue I've experienced with this location's SERVICE. The first issue involved a triangle screw from some part of the frying equipment/process disconnected and was deep fried with my fries and served/sold with my order. How do I know? Because it was oily and piping hot within my fries. By the dark color of the screw, it wasn't new! The second issue was a completely different order than what I ordered/paid for was delivered. Now, today...June 28, 2026 at 5:45pm CST I physically drove to the 1521 N Custer Rd Wingstop restaurant to place an order of 30 ALL FLATS...mid order, the young cashier states, "I can't sell you that many flats!" I immediately questioned, "WHY NOT!? I'm purchasing them...they're not free!" He goes to ask the manager. (I'm standing there watching their exchange.) He comes back and states, I can only sell you 10 FLATS. I was livid! I stated, "I'm not buying only 10 FLATS!" I leave. Drive home. Ordered and paid for the 30 FLATS I wanted via UberEats. RECEIVED 30 FLATS and the rest of my order! Why is it I could order via UberEats and pay $3.49 extra for the ALL FLATS? But, standing physically in the restaurant I was restricted to ordering only 10 FLATS? I'm going to ask all of my neighbors and anyone I see going into that location as I have opportunity if they're aware of the 10 FLAT minimum in-person ordering limit? This is the last time a dime of my funds will be spent at this Wingstop location. Keep in mind, the first two issues I spoke to the Hispanic manager directly. Her offer to resolve each issue was, "I'm so sorry, I will give you a free replacement order when you come into the store!" Which I never redeemed. The customer service, in my personal experience, is subpar at this location. Based upon the three negative experiences I've had and the extremely poor management resolution actions. This is a valid review and not a scam. read more

It's been awhile since I ordered ahead and then Picked up an order at the McKinney location. I won't be back. The french fries were just ok...light on seasoning and could have been crispier. The wings were awful. Luckily the chicken was done...but the skin was slimy...not crispy. Terrible....They were busy and the order took about 10 minutes longer than quoted.I could have lived with the timeline ...but not the quality of the food. Very disappointing. read more

Of all the WS locations I've visited in north Dallas, this is the best. The service was great, food came out hot, everything was seasoned perfectly. Only wish the had a great reward program! read more

Wingstop - a basket of french fries and hotdogs - Chicken Wings Near Me - Mckinney, Texas

The wing stop on elderado near my house is a disaster. I decided not to try this one. My order was made , and folks working their gave me bag as soon as it was ready Service was quick , food came out perfect. Great service. read more

Purchased a chicken sandwich, the bun was hard as a rock, drove back to the store showed it the the manager, waited 10 minutes for a replacement. She gave me the sandwich at which point I said that's it, not even am I am sorry? her reply was, you don't want the sandwich? REALLY! Poorly managed location, if the buns are that old, how old is the chicken they are serving. read more

If I could less than 1 stars, I would. The manager at this location is on some wild power trip. I ordered food; waited 22 minutes and left for home - 1.8 miles away. Once home, I quickly notice the fries were beyond ice cold. I called and asked them to make fresh fries. I proceeded to use my gas and drive back to this location. I returned and accidentally brought back everything but the fries. The manager rudely told me to go home and retrieve the food else she wouldn't return it. And when I brought the food back, she would let me know based on how she feels, if she would replace my order. (You can't make this up) I went home brought the fries back and asked for a full refund. She refused to give a refund or make fries and is speaking about me poorly in Spanish- mind you, I'm from SoCal- so for some Spanish under my belt. She then tells me to call the police if I want the stuff remade. So I do (see pic). The police said it's a civil matter try to work it out - but they can't typically come for civil matters- understood. I am still calm standing waiting - police eventually arrive. I step outside to converse with the officers. I was informed this same manager called the police and said I was trespassing and wouldn't leave the store. Just more bad character and lies. The police knew I had called first as well. They unfortunately could not give me money back or force them to make fresh food. So I left empty handed - save the trespass "warning " issued by the police. Called customer service and they were appalled and apologetic and tried to issue a $15 card. No thank you. I plan to be at corporate office first thing Monday morning and I plan to file a civil suit. It's the principle. What I want is my refund and an apology from this manager. Unbelievable and extremely disappointed read more

No complaints on this location either. I know I know. I'm addicted to these wings! But in my defense I'm doing Keto and wings are one of the best options when eating out in Keto. This location is closer to my house which is my go-to when we decide to pick up from here. Can't wait until Wingstop decides to delivery. That would be awesome! The staff here is always friendly. The food is always they way we ordered it. No complaints! I love wings and Wingstop never fails. read more

Food is always terrible you ask for light salt fries come burnt like wood chips and super salty. Wings burnt and terrible then you ask for a refund and they give you a "credit". You come use the credit and get the same exact terrible meal. Customer service completely disrespectful. "We don't care call corporate if you want a refund" read more

Our favorite wing spot. Favorite flavors are Cajun, Korean, Louisiana- all bone in wings. Their fries are also crazy good. Their ranch is delish and homemade. Just a solid, delicious wing place. When we crave wings, we go to Wng Stop! read more

Great chicken wings, wait was a little too long, took about an hour, but overall worth the wait, would try again!

I hate leaving bad reviews and I never do . I just left this location and was picking up an order and this young guy who was sweeping the floors was so rude to me . I get that he needed to sweep reallly bad so I moved and he come back around and was very rude saying can you go sit over there I need to sweep here and he didn't even say please he was just overall so rude . There was no where for me to sit . I went and told another employee just how rude he is and the same guy that was sweeping came back around and asked what I told him . He was fighting with me and talking about me right in front of me ! I could not believe it . He is really lucky I did not go off on him . I understand he might have had a long day but he needs to have basic training on how to speak and interact with customers. Come on just the basics ! Don't you ever talk about me right in front me ! I will be addressing the mangers . I can't believe how poorly he treated me. Hopefully he gets the basic training skills he needs to work in such a demanding and fast paced work place. read more

The best wingstop I have ever been to. They are consistent with the quality of the food and it's made in a timely manner. The chicken is sauced and seasoned perfectly almost every time. I would recommend getting the fries well done because I've had experiences where if it wasn't the fries came out soggy but other than that they are the best! read more

We used to go here all the time, however, I think this will be our last time we order from here. It took them additional 40 min to make my order after I received an email about it being done!!! And on top of it didn't even bother them that it took 60min to make 10 wings!! read more

Seen employees make they own food to go before making the customer food and eating chicken while cooking. Always have the online orders wrong. This store is horrible. read more

Can't ever go wrong with wingstop. The wings are fire and the fries always hit. The workers are pretty nice too. Always a good spot after a late shift at work read more

Really confusing place. Came at 11:30 and they said they're closed but still let me in. There a sign on the window that says open until midnight. They should take that down considering they turned me away on the phone and in person. This so so unprofessional, I would give zero stars if I could read more

Wingstop - Chicken Wings Near Me - Mckinney, Texas

Went there yesterday. The wings were definitely refried. They were small, hard and chewy. Pretty sad situation

Applies only to the branch off Custer/380. Summary: this branch is consistent in terms of service and quality. Once in a while, there's a minor issue but it's usually an outlier ------ It's a wingstop fastfood chain. It is and should be standard. What makes this branch 4/5 stars is the staff. After having been there a handful of times, they recognize who we are and engage in friendly conversation. The variations of flavors are minimal enough to let you decide quickly and not overwhelm you with 101 unique choices. The reason it's knocked off a star is because once in a while the chicken is either drenched in sauce or dry on some parts. In other words, the coating isn't always consistent. Price point: it's decently price and pretty standard as far as wings in north dallas goes. read more

My experience with wing stop has always been great. We go there about once a week and only had one order messed up, and the manager was able to fix it on the spot. Love the wings! read more

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Don't go to this location. Go to Frisco off Preston. Horrible service . Unprofessional. Spent damn near $30 for shit to be missing and wrong. I ordered garlic parm they gave me Cajun , HARD miss, or just laziness. Ordered 2 rolls for my grandma who can't eat much but bread is easier for her to eat so she had no food and then my GF is vegan and doesn't eat chicken but allows me to get it anyways, ordered some veggie sticks and there where none. So 2 people without food! No point in calling up there bc it's a bunch of kids. read more

Jeslyn was very nice. She had great customer service which helped in the wait for my food which was a very short wait. The food was great and I had an overall wonderful experience. read more

Get all the way home home and don't have my ranch dressing after I ask was it in the bag, what a waste of wings.

I've always came to this location, close to home and was always treated great..... until today, placed order over the phone, lady taking my order was extremely rude and not friendly. I figured okay maybe they are busy, didn't really worry about it. When I showed up to pick up my order, the rudeness continued, and we have always received a military discount in the past but apparently it's no longer available due to new ownership not supporting it. So, looks like I'll be getting wings elsewhere from now on. read more

Went in tonight and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. This Wingstop location definitely will be my go to place for wings from now on. read more

Clean, fast and friendly. I am not sure how they get your food prepared so quickly after ordering online, but it's fast. The parking is easy and I like the fast service. We eat here a few times and months and will continue. They pay attention to all our requests, like well cooked or extra seasoning. read more

Inconsiderate of clients ordering Togo and in lobby. From what I saw vet unorganized. I understand if it's busy but we ordered online and the time said specifically 9:20 it would be ready and instead at 9:46 i had got up after they called people who came in after us, and I asked what's going on and we've been waiting and the young lady at the counter said oh um what's your name- she went to the heating area and then said OH it's right here. If she would've acknowledged us and said sorry for the wait or at least said "let me check on that for you". Something would've been nice. This place is right by the house and I would rather drive another 15 min to another location that treats us better. First and last time going. The manager even said "oh I just put it there".... really? That's all you have to say. Not sorry nothing? Great service- yeah right! read more

I think it's a new location, but they seem to be up and running well. It's been busy both times I've been, so I waited a bit for my food, but that's not a big deal. The alternative is uncooked chicken and I'll pass on that! Food was good both times, the girl behind the counter was nice. Likely my new go-to place when I need a chicken fix! read more

Typical wing stop here. The staff was friendly. Wings were really good. Wait time was longer than usual. They were busy though so I can't blame the staff on the long wait time. read more

The gentleman at the register isn't very helpful and seems like he hates being there all together

This Wingstop is fantastic! They are always friendly and tonight they were so helpful. We had a problem with DoorDash so I called to come pick up my order. My order had been sitting for quite some time and the nice lady behind the counter remade our food so it wasn't cold. She was so thoughtful even though her restaurant was packed she stopped and made sure I had what I needed. Great customer service! Thank you we will be back minus DoorDash read more

Terrible service. Called in an order they didn't have my order when I arrived. Instead of saying my mistake we will make your order right away. The manager demanded I show her the number dialed and proceeded to tell me this was not their contact number. As I waited an additional 30 mins for my order placed an hour ago I dialed the same number and watched them answer the phone. POOR MANAGEMENT!!! FIND NEW POEPLE! Consider a profession that doesn't involve human interaction. To add insult to injury they served me cold fries!!! read more

I've been eating at Wingstop for idk how long and I've come to realize that eating wings when you first get them makes a better experience than waiting to get home to devour them. I've got the mango habanero bone in wings and they all were perfect. Flavor was great. Wings looked good and not too disfigured. Fries weren't too hard and seasoning was good. I love getting the same great quality food every time I dine in here and they did not disappoint read more

Recently built and very clean. Great and fast service. My friends and I hang there all the time. Very kind and great cashier and cooks.

Arrived 18 minutes before closing and the lady manager wouldn't let me in the store to order because they needed to pre close or something like that. Funny enough I placed a phone order at a different location right after that and that store accepted it! Not cool McKinney wingstop!! read more

I've given this place multiple tries but no more. Due to COVID I'm picking up orders from different places for my family. I placed my order with this wing stop and it was supposed to be ready at 6:44pm. I got there for them to tell me they forgot to check online orders and it's gonna be a while. I explained I placed it to have it ready now because I have other food getting cold. The lady at the register with ridiculously blue lipstick was rude and yelled at me that they had other orders call in and they need to do them first and they will get to me. Never will this place get my business again. The wing stop in Prosper is MUCH more friendly and polite. Don't waste your time here, people. And, they don't even keep the restaurant clean. I don't know why I even tried them again. No more! read more
