I order carry out from this location very often, I would have to say about 5 times a month. I have never had any issue with my orders, or the quality of my food. 9 times out of 10 I place a mobile order when ordering from Wingstop because it can take a little while to freshly make your fries and your wings. This location has never missed the sauces, I always get them when I add it to my order. The wings are always perfectly coated in their sauces, and the staff is always pretty kind when I come in to pick up my order. I'd also like to make an honorable mention that the food is always neatly placed in the bags, and the bag is always sealed with a sticker. This is perfect. Today I actually ordered at the register, and the woman read back my order not only as I was telling her what I wanted, but after it was all complete too! She triple checked that she placed in the order as I asked. Portillos does this at their drive thru, and it's an amazing reassurance for the customers. It's always pretty cold inside which is actually nice, because it's summer and I've never been in a colder restaurant before! The inside is always kept clean, especially their drinks station. The only thing I always find odd about this location is that they don't have a garbage can, so if you eat inside you have to throw away your garbage outside, which is shared by the neighboring Dunkin. I ordered the lemon pepper flavor, I felt like some of the thighs were actually pretty good I was surprised. But then there was several pieces that just tasted garlicky for some reason and very fatty and oily. Some of the pieces reminded me of the boneless wings and others just tasted a little weird. They are really quick getting your orders out and the food is always always fresh, crispy, flavorful and delicious. This place has nosedived. It used to be very good but I'm passing from now on. See below: Pros: - I got 11 boneless wings on a 10 wing order. This should tell you something (see cons). - Sauce is still good. - They remembered to give me the extra sauce that I paid for. - Wings were fully cooked. Cons: - Quality of the chicken is sub par. It's no longer as tender as it used to be. I actually spat out a wing because I thought that I was chewing rubber. - Fries were ok but I'm shocked I didn't get charged for an entire bottle of seasoning. You know the gag where someone unscrews the top of the bottle before someone else uses it? Yeah, that happened to this order of fries. Every fry on top was smothered and every fry below had nothing. - Due to the above, fries went to waste because it was either bland or "here's half of a bottle of seasoning with your french fry". - I ordered unsweetened iced tea. How hard is it to realize that UNsweetened means WITHOUT sugar or sweetener? Pay attention to the order. Learn the difference between sweet and unsweet and learn to count. - Napkins. It's an order of chicken wings. Would it kill you to provide more than 1 napkin in single serving take-out package? I ordered wings, not a salad. - Employees obviously don't care and management isn't managing. - Of the 10 boneless wings that I ordered (11 of which were provided), 4 were completely inedible. You don't order a pizza and expect a little over half to be what you can eat. Bottom Line: I trusted this establishment but I feel completely let down. I won't order from here again unless I see better reviews and proof that they care about their customers again. Please pay attention to a) what a customer orders and b) the quality of the food that is going out the door. If you have employees that don't care about the food going out the door, don't expect customers to care about the food coming in the door. I said that was kinda unfair seeming their machine is broken and it offers refills. He said " well that happens sometimes" I said ummm no I think usually they would offer something in place of. It was her mistake but my bf was nice enough to say fuck it and pay for it BUT then they even charged us more money because there was no way to ring up exactly $10.02 so they put a bunch of random items on the receipt to get as close to $10.02 as possible but charged us an additional .19 cents. What I expected was the same Wild Wings sauce that I get it home but something entirely differentis going on here. This was my first time at Wing stop. I read 15 reviews; but decided to have a open mind. I ordered 15 piece classic wings/teriyaki, 6 warm rolls, large cole slaw. I called in a when I arrived about 20 minutes later my order was ready. It was one lady back there and a guy that was cooking. I got home and got busy. The 6 rolls were old and a little stale on the edges. Seems like someone brushed some butter on the top/bottom of each roll; however, the inside was a little cold...not warm enough to melt butter bc I put a slice of butter in two rolls and it never melted. The slaw was better but it was sweet. I don't know about you guys, but I never thought someone cooking wings could do a bad job. I've had Teriyaki wings before mainly at Chinese eateries. The sauce sticks to the meat like "candy apple", and the meat is tender. Wing stops wings tasted as if they had been frozen before cooked and they tasted( the few I tried) like chewing Rubber or shoe leather. The Teriyaki was applied to the wings like a BBQ sauce. The meat was wet/sticky and sweet. After a few bites of each, I put all of the food in a plastic bag in the freezer until I put it in the garbage outside for pick up Friday. Another thing. I'm older so I seldom eat out at fast food places unless like in this case, some trout fish I took out was not unthawed...so I said, let me try this wing stop. Normally, when I eat wings, I buy them, season them and put them in a skillet with a little Olive oil and bake until brown...delicious. I'll do this the next time. Wing Stop is off my "bucket list". I also felt a little upset in the head and stomach so I drank some proabotic type yogurt. The wings are delicious and the service is great! The first time I had ever been to a Wingstop, the guy behind the counter took the time to explain a few of the different flavors to me without making me feel rushed. My favorite kind are the boneless parmesan garlic. They are even good reheated! The fries have a good seasoning, and the rolls are decent. The stars are definitely the wings! I also like how you can get a 10 piece combo with either two different flavors or all of one flavor. Don't go here if you're in a hurry since all wings are cooked to order. I had to call in to work and my daughter stayed home from school. There were other diners there at this time. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've come to this location a couple of times now and the service is getting worse and worse. My first bad experience happened a month ago when I placed an order for pickup. I was told that there was a 20 minute wait, so I arrived 25 minutes later. I'm not terribly impatient, but after 15 minutes of waiting, I was told by the cashier that it would be another 10 minutes. But then 45 minutes go by without food. I kept inquiring every 15 minutes until they admitted that they ran out of wings and the owner left to get some more. But then why lie? Answer, the owner didn't want to return my money, very greedy. So at the hour mark I was told that I would not get a refund. Now cut to the second even worse experience. Again, I order the food for pickup and I even waited an extra 10 minutes to give Wing stop a chance to complete the order on time. I get my order and head home, until I realize that half the order is missing. I call and I talk to the most disinterested employee ever. She responds, "yeah we know we have your wings" then why didn't you call the number I gave you for pickup? Just lazy employees. I ask her to at least get me fresh wings when I return. I arrive and they waited until I proved that I paid. Ok, im not trying to rip anyone off, but thanks for assuming I am, and btw, you were the guys that forgot the wings in the first place. I produce the receipt and I start to wait, and then I hear an employee in the back complain about me. I politely tell him that it's not my fault that I didn't get my wings. I ask for a partial refund so I'm not near these flunkies anymore. The rude cashier tells me that she needs to call the owner. Eventually, she returns and gives a full refund, which I didn't ask for, and then I offered an olive branch and apologized for getting frustrated. She gives me the stink eye and turns her back to me without saying a word. The wings are good, but not good enough to put up with that kind of treatment. Go to another Wing stop. read more
