    WINGSTOP IN LONDON
    Eric Joseph D.

After living in London for a year and a half now, I have never really craved American chains, but there was something different about Wingstop. Maybe because Wingstop is one of the few establishments to have ranch sauce as a side, the opening of this American establishment was extremely different from other American places. Thank you Rick Ross for bringing it here! Since there has been so much hype around this wingstop and its in a very central location, the queue is always so long. Especially during lunch time and any time after 5:30 PM. Is it worth it? If you are craving for American style chicken wings, yes. But if you are not, just eat at another American chain like Shake Shack. I forgot how the wingstop menu is in the States, but this seemed somewhat similar and I loved how there was a Korean sauce flavor. That had such a kick with it and complimented the classic Lemon Pepper. Overall, the pricing is average, but you can easily spend a butt load especially if you order a bunch of sides. I would suggest straying away from the cole slaw as it didn't taste like anything and it was really small for the price. Other than that, this seems like a reliable wing stop and I hope they find a better way to cater to all the business coming in as 1 cashier for a night time shift will not cut it!

Finally, I tried the wingstop in UK. The US has definitely more choices than here and the one they have here are all in the US. Tried different flavours for the wings and the tender but i forgot which lol. But they spicy ones are all good that I remember. The fries not so meh. Recommended for comfort food.

Wings, fries, sides, repeat - this is what is gonna happen from the first moment you gonna take a bite of chicken in this place. This place has a decent variety of chicken, you can choose regular wings, boneless or tenders. There is no burgers or salads, but the place is literally called Wingstop, so idk why would you expect something else. What makes them unique and creates wide range of options is different flavours you can have for your chicken. All of them are unique and special, although after having most of them i can say that Louisiana Rub is the best of them. They have an interesting twist for their fries as well offering a lemon-pepper flavour alongside, generic plain and cheesy fries. There is a selection of sauces that goes with your chicken as well and this is one of very few places you will find authentic American ranch sauce. For the drinks, you buy a cup and use refill machines where you can get any kinda flavour you want mixed with your soda. Service is good, as this place is popular at the moment, you may find yourself in a queue once you entered, but their staff manage to take orders quickly and correctly meaning that their efficiency is on point. Tables are also cleaned by staff which is not necessary, but is always nice to see. On the "help-yourself-point" you will find napkins, ketchup and mayo, cutlery and gloves which you can use if you go with wings. Interior is decent, most of the time accompanied with some peng chicks enjoying chicken right next to you. So you might consider deleting your tinder account and make your move to Wingstop asap. Bathrooms are clean (if you get extra lucky, might be an important factor), tables and everything else around is clean as well. Overall, this is a great place for wings and idk if wings can get any better than that. Location is very cool, around 10 minutes from Supreme, so you can treat yourself after taking a W or help yourself forget about L you just took by buying some boneless wings. btw while i was writing this review, I got offered free churros, never expected my yelp fame to get big that quick.

So you wouldn't be surprised to hear that WingStop has wings - and oh boy are they good! We went for the garlic (and something) wings, mango and habanero wings, Korean tenders and (obviously) some chips. I felt like this was the perfect amount of food for 2 people to prevent any unwanted food babies and food sweats. Service was great! The guy at the till gave us an extra bottomless drink for free, but that have just been because we spent ages trying to choose which combination of sauce and spice and chicken we wanted (there is wayyyy too much to choose from!). Can't compete with the Brewdog across the road, mainly due to the lack of pints. It was also way too bright - kinda ruined the mood a little, felt a bit too fast-foody.

This place has only just opened and I've got to give them full marks. The wings are great there a good choice and service is quick although ive been told it does get really busy around lunchtime and 6pm onwards.

There's a chicken sandwich chain restaurant in LA that I frequent called Chick-fil-a which is kind…read moreof hard to compete against..but I have to say, this place has some pretty bomb chicken. Bf got chicken sandwich and he said it was really good, soft bun that holds well, nice and crispy well seasoned chicken patty with moist meat. He's also got chicken wings here before and said they were really good. I got 6 chicken tenders not realizing how big the pieces were going to be. The chicken was well seasoned, super moist even if white meat, nice meat to batter ratio, super Big Crunch. 4 different dipping sauces you can buy for 50p (mayo or ketchup free next to utensils) Bathrooms are fairly clean. Cucumber salad reminds me of a Korean cucumber salad of a bean paste but this one was sesame and I believe peanuts. Little salty little tang and nice fresh chunks of cold cucumbers. Very crunchy. Staff is nice and patient even though I couldn't really make up my mind. Would definitely recommend or go back if I'm ever in the area again

The workers…read morewere so so kind, and this place was so busy that my friend and I thought it would be a good idea after a long day of walking down Oxford st....but nope. We decided to go with the "spicy" chicken tender meal, which consisted of some "Cajun" spices being thrown on top of some already cooked regular tenders. It made the chicken so gritty, I was very disappointed. It was also $16 for that meal??? I understand it's a nicer area but for that quality that was beyond excessive. Definitely will not be coming back to this place next time I'm in London. Side note: I was here in February 2020 but have found myself very overdue to leave a review.

About 2 months ago, i went to a restaurant where I encountered a very painful and distressful…read moreexperience where I felt bullied. They took my phone to "repair" but until now, countless tries of contact them and i still haven't gotten my phone back. This is what happened. I was at Cookhouse Joe, SOHO brunch, on Monday (28 July) for dinner with my friend. It all went well until a waitress dropped a knife on my mobile phone and leg. The screen on my mobile phone cracked as a result the phone is not usable anymore, but fortunately for me, my leg was alright. The waitress immediately apologised and said that she will pay for the damages. I'm using a mobile phone that do not have an office in London and therefore no service centre. But after that, the manager told us that the restaurant will be responsible, however they could not offer any form of compensation as it was too late at night (9.05pm) because they could not get in touch with the boss. We then told the manager that the waitress offered to pay and there was no need to contact the boss. When we spoke to the waitress again, she said she will only pay for repairs but as I was using a Xiaomi phone, I told her that they didn't have a service centre in London and I need a phone as I didn't want to be uncontactable. She then asked us to give her a minute. We told them that I need a phone immediately or at least the next day as I am here alone and my family contacts me everyday to make sure I'm okay. So we suggested that they got me a spare phone or a new phone. Next thing we knew the manager came to us and shouted that "I already told you to come back tomorrow, and now you are making my waitress cry" and started chasing us out of the restaurant. While chasing us out, he sure didn't forget about the bill and demanded that we pay for the dinner before we leave. We called in the police but they mentioned that as this is a civil dispute, they could not get involved. We also contacted the embassy for advice but they referred us to the police, so we are back at square one. We went back the next day to get things settled during the time stated by the manager, as he said the boss will be around during that time. When we were there, all he told us was "the boss doesn't sit around" waiting for us to come. He also started calling us names like stupid and said that we were trying to blackmail / threaten them. I have never felt more threatened by a person! Not only was my phone damaged and unusable, my friend and I were bullied and insulted. I have a recording of him calling my friends and I stupid, at least twice because my friends posted a bad review online. He said that, "We can't be going into a restaurant and just expect cash like that." He also chased me out and said that I was trespassing his restaurant and that I wasn't to step foot in the restaurant ever again. He took my mobile phone and mentioned that because we didn't pay for our bill of 30GBP, they can only try to repair my 150GBP phone and won't guarantee until we paid. The whole experience has been seriously distressing and traumatising.

My male colleagues at work kept going on about this place that the wraps are "really really good"…read moreand also "Serena, you would love it!". Somehow I failed to believe them because they had recommended some places before and it fell short of my great expectation. Nevertheless, I did decide to try it. That week, I was craving Arabic cuisine but didn't want to go that extra mile. So, I took their advise. It is a cozy restaurant in a one way road, off Oxford street almost opposite "The Plaza". It is quite dim inside, with tables at the back and benches at the entrance. I ordered the lamb wrap and it was amazing. It was the closest I could get to authentic Lebanese food, the garlic sauce hit the spot. Memories of home kept flooding my head. Every table is treated to a bottle of something which at first, I thought was a bottle of wine! To my disappointment, it was just water... Good, keep customers hydrated! Pros: -Good for small groups -Quirky -Great food and lots of it! -Close to the high street -'Green man' pub just opposite Cons: -Slightly pricier meals on the menu but it's London. -There's not enough space in my belly to finish the food. -Can get very busy and packed. Advise: -Please do visit and try it yourself!
