I absolutely love wing stop and their food! However,today while stopping in to pick up food i witnessed a manager tell another employee to go out to a vehicle and get an order of fries from a customer that just picked up his food. The customer had just opened the box and started eating them. I was almost positive they were going to just throw them away. However, they took the fries and put them in another customers bag for pickup. That is absolutely disgusting! And if managers are doing this it is hard to tell what the employees do. Like others, people compare this to buffalo wild wings you will not receive service such as a waiter or seating hosts, its more of a fast food wings which by no means does that make it bad. Order from here quiet a bit and usually never have any problems until my last order. I had ordered 3 different flavors of wings to be delivered to my house for my wifes birthday through door dash. Well 1 of the orders of wings didn't show up. Ok fine, so we call the store and explain the situation. We are put on hold while the young man on the phone talks to his manager, we are disconnected shortly after....ok. We call back, someone else picks up this time. So we explain the situation again, and are again put on hold. After sometime she comes back and says to us "You can either come pick then up or we can credit your account." The wings are dinner for my family tonight so I opt to make the 15 min drive and come get the wings. So I tell her " We would like to come pick them up please." And she responds with "Ok." then just hangs up the phone...no estimate of when they will be done, nothing. So I drive to the store to of course find out the wings are still being made...fine no big deal. After a short wait a bag is placed on the counter behind the register, but no one says anything. So after a couple of mins the guy at the register yells to the back and asks "Are these the boneless wings." Only for no one to answer. So he just picks the bag up and sets them on the counter and says "This should be them." Doesnt look, no writing nothing so I had to physically check to make sure it was actually mine. Thankfully they were mine. Like I said, every other time I have ordered from here I have had NO issues. Wingstop is one of the handful of places I googled when I was moving out of California with my fingers crossed and a silent chant of "please have one, please have one" YES! Although it is a bit of trek out to the Southside, those that are looking for a great wing, you can quit the search. Wingstop makes everything fresh to order (14 minutes to be exact) and it is worth every minute! I am a wing purist and would never go boneless, if I wanted a chicken nugget I would go elsewhere, like Kindergarten maybe. The only place it is acceptable is their Gliders and that is only because the bones would make the feasting slower. I was an original hot sauce fanatic until I ventured to the Cajun. It's a similar sauce to the hot, with a lingering bite but with added Cajun seasoning over the top. The Louisiana Dry Rub is also one to grab a couple of. The wings always come out hot, crisp, and covered in sauce. Their fries are fresh cut and have a sugar seasoned salt on them (I promise it tastes better than it sounds) grab a small cheese sauce and give them a swim! I failed to check my to-go order. I was sorry that I didn't because when I got home, 6 of the wings were full size and the other 6 were only half size. I was cheated. Really really good wings. We come here EVERY time we're on the southside. There's always a great deal with too much food. We love the boneless Garlic Parmesan, which is pretty much garlic butter and grated parmesan cheese. AMAZING. Also, why they have amazing yeasty dinner rolls, I'll never know. What I do know is you should get them. At least 6. They are warm and amazing and so perfect. Wings and rolls, just do it. I had high hopes for this place after seeing the size of the wings. I order 8 traditional wings with fries and a roll. The roll was amazing and so buttery. The fries were really good. Nice texture and flavor. The wings, which should be good due to the name "Wing Stop" should be held high in expectation. I was severely let down as there were tough and chewy. Barely got any meat off the bone. I can't express how let down I was to find my wings so deplorable abd inedible. Since moving to Greenwood I have been to this Wingstop location several times and have yet to be disappointed. The variety of sauces is a plus as well as their uniquely seasoned fries, they are almost sweet to the taste. I had one issue after I had ordered online in which I showed up a little early and decided to get a beer. Around 20 minutes go by and I am finished with my beer and am sitting in front of the registers watching people come in and out receiving their food yet my name hadn't been called. Another 20 minutes go by and I still haven't heard my name called, this now being 30 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. I decided to go to the counter to inquire about my wings and was finally given my order, I told the manager at the counter how long I had been waiting and she replied that it was due to the fact that I ordered online. Working in the food industry myself I didn't argue as I simply just wanted my wings. After getting in the car I didn't even get to the stop light at US 31 before I got a call from a Greenwood number. It was the manager who I had spoken with inside calling to inform me that she misunderstood how long I had been waiting and had gone back to check the ticket time as something didn't seem right. She then proceeded to tell me that she was going to put a note on file to get me a free order of 10 wings to make up for their mistake. I usually order from here with no problem. However, today I received the worst customer service I think I have ever received from a food establishment. I was missing items from my order, small things. But, if I pay for them, I should expect them in my bag, right? I ordered delivery through their website because I am unable to drive due to a back injury. When I called to talk about getting the money credited back to my account, Terrel, who was beyond rude, offered me an in store credit or I could come to the store and pick up the items. I have never in my life heard of a restaurant giving store credit and not refunding money. After he so rudely told me that's what my options were, I then asked when his GM would be in next and wouldn't divulge that apparently top secret information. Ordered online for my first Wingstop experience after hearing many great reviews from friends and wanting to try something other than the bland wings from bdubs. The wait at the register seemed rather long for how few customers were in at the time and I'll add that I was not very happy seeing that my to go order was only resting on a counter off to the side instead of a warmer. After getting home and tasting a few of the wings I was beyond pleased with my order. The drive home is about 20 minutes but everything was still warm and delicious! We ordered the Hickory Smoked BBQ, Louisiana Rub and Garlic Parmesan, all of which were fantastic (a special shoutout to the Louisiana Rub, YUM). Will most definitely be coming back again! read more

After reading reviews of Wing Stop as Indy's best wings we made a 35 minute drive to try them. We are big wing fans and Wing Stop EXCEEDED our expectations. We will make the trip again. We prefer the smaller wings and these were perfectly cooked, crisp and excellent. We were three adults and we ordered the 35 piece family pack. Plenty of food, we had to work to finish it all! We tried Atomic, Cajun, Louisiana Rub, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan. I should say that I like very HOT wings and I have my pictures on a couple of wall of Flames. Atomic: Excellent taste and nice pop. Similar in hot to BW3 WILD, not as hot as BW3 Blazing. Louisiana Rub: These were our favorite. Lemon Pepper: We were doubter but owner brought us a few to try and we will order next time. Cajun: A nice hot wing for those that do not want Atomic. I preferred the Atomic. Garlic Parmesan: We were disappointed in these. Our favorite wings anywhere used to be the "Smoky Mountain Garlic" at the original "Just Wing'N It" located at 52nd and College back in the day. The parmesan cheese on the wings was more like powdered sugar if you can imagine that. Good wing if you leave of the parmesan cheese and put some garlic butter on the side! Fries and rolls were both good. Also nice selection of bottled beers. Overall we had an excellent time and next time will order Atomic, Louisiana Rub, Lemon Pepper, plus try a new flavor. Great wings with a much less hectic atmosphere than Buffalo Wild Wings. They also feature a friendlier staff and better prices. The fries are salty and sweet and addictive. The rolls are excellent, fresh and hot. They provide plenty of bleu cheese and ranch and there's no tip factor. My wife and I can eat in the restaurant with our young children. I am lucky in that I only have to drive 10 minutes to get to Wing Stop, which is not to say I would not drive farther. I love wings and will try them just about anywhere, and I do not hesitate to say these are in the top 3 wings I have ever eaten. I have tried all the flavors, and they are all great in their own ways. I usually stick with Atomic and Garlic Parmesan. And then there are the fries...as the other reviewer mentioned, I too believe them to be sprinkled with some sort of addicting substance. If I had to guess the seasoning has some sugar in it, you get sweet notes here and there from it. They also have a cheese sauce for the fries that is a must have. Service is always great, folks there are just plain friendly and engaging. Another huge plus is they are open till Midnight, which for folks like me who are late eaters is a great thing. read more
