I was never given the points for my entire order. Guest services responded with their resolution (which wasn't a resolution to my issue, it was a partial resolution for my missing item, a employee/company error), is final and their team investigated and their decision is final. Cheated me out of my due points, failed to investigate thoroughly, refused to correct their company/employee/technical error. They don't deserve any stars. And before a representative responds to contact via feedback/website, already done. No assistance whatsoever as well as refused to provide corporate headquarters and escalations. The stuffed crust had almost no stuffing, the pizza size itself was incredibly small, the flavor was bland, and overall it.. well my husband took a couple bites and had frozen pizza rolls instead which is not a good sign. I came into REPUBLIC for a drink and to check out the renovations. REPUBLIC has only been open for…read moreabout a week, and it was absolutely packed, which is understandable for a reopening. Even with plenty of servers on the floor, it was difficult to get a drink. I really liked what they did with the back room, turning it into a designated area for watching sports on TV. The remodel looks great, and the space has a really nice new feel. I ended up staying for dinner, although in hindsight, I probably should have just had my drink and left. At 5:55 p.m., I placed my order separately, about 10 minutes before everyone else at our table. There were three orders placed at our table. I ordered a ribeye and shrimp, mixed vegetables, and a baked potato with butter only. At approximately 7:25 p.m., our waitress brought everyone else's food, but my meal was still not ready. Throughout the wait, our server continued checking on us regarding drinks and kept us updated that my food was still being prepared. I even went up to the kitchen/food counter myself to see if my order was ready. I continued checking back about every 10 minutes. Finally, around 8:05 p.m., my food arrived. I immediately noticed that the baked potato had not been prepared as I requested--it had toppings on it instead of being plain with butter. The server offered to take it back and have them redo it, but after waiting more than two hours, I told her I would just take it. I cut into my ribeye, and I have to say, it was cooked to perfection. The plate looked great, and everything appeared appetizing. Unfortunately, the entire meal was very cold. I let our server know, and again she offered to have the food remade. At that point, I didn't want to wait another two hours for another meal, so I declined. I completely understand that REPUBLIC has just reopened and that some of the staff may be new. Opening a busy restaurant after renovations can certainly come with challenges. My comments are meant to be constructive. My suggestions would be to add food runners to help the kitchen get meals out to the tables quickly and to have more people behind the bar to keep drinks moving. The remodel looks great, and I really like the new sports-watching area. Now the restaurant needs to focus on getting food to the tables in a timely manner while it's still hot, as well as getting drinks out more efficiently. Shoutout to "Reese" she is a very attentive server. Also noticed she was helping out other servers at the pos machine. I would definitely be interested in coming back once they have had some time to work out the opening-week growing pains. The potential is definitely there.
