I have to give credit where it's due. Ordered today on postmates (3/22) and not only was my entire order correct, it was still hot and fresh by the time I got it. Everything was cooked well and not soggy or over cooked. It was seasoned good. Got large cajun corn and triple meal deal which has 6 classic, 6 boneless and 2 tenders with large fries. I chose lemon pepper for classic, hot honey rub for boneless and the meltdown for the tenders. Tenders were nice and crispy. Wings could've been crispier but that's my fault since I forgot to ask for well done. Everything was good though in terms of flavor. I don't really like their fries too much so I can't say much about those. They're pretty basic. And I love the cajun corn! It's flavorful and I'd definitely get that over the fries. Gotta get some of their ranch to go with everything. It's a perfect dip. Food isn't terrible as it's a franchise and you can't ruin it terribly but the laziness in the restaurant is very apparent. Service is the usual and ambience is terrible. They have a very cool design but they don't actually attempt to clean anything. This is literally after they mopped right before we entered which is the craziest part to me and it was on every side of the restaurant and under every table. What scares me is this is what restaurants hide from customers and keep in the kitchen. Well they don't even try to hide it, can't imagine how the kitchen looks. After some friends raved about this place, we decided to check out Wingstop. I'm not usually a fan of getting wings "out" at places, but I figured I would give Wingstop a shot. It's easy enough to order here: you walk up, pick how many wings you want, pick your flavor, pick your dip and pick your side (fries or veggie sticks- side note: who is ordering veggie sticks??). I decided to get 3 boneless lemon pepper wings and 3 boneless Louisiana spice wings with fries and blue cheese dip. There weren't a lot of people in the place, and the order took a while, but the wait wasn't too bad. The flavor of both if the wings that I got was good. The Louisiana spice could have used a little more "kick", but all in all it was okay. My big complaint is that a couple of the wings were SUPER small with more batter than chicken. Also they were very greasy. So greasy that I probably should have "blotted" them before eating them. So greasy that they left a pool of grease at the bottom of the basket they were resting in. I know it's fast food and "you get what you pay for", so I guess I shouldn't be complaining since my meal cost $9, but still. Next time I'm just gonna throw those bad boys on a paper towel. This was a wonderful experience. The business is located at the end of a strip mall and there were many empty parking spaces. Upon entering the business, the smell of freshly fried wings and fries whisked me away. The cashier and manager were finishing a phone in order and immediately assisted me. They were very warm, friendly, and even informed me of all the current deals, to help save money. I was originally going to order 2 separate meals which would have cost $25+ but they recommended the $20 boneless blitz meal that comes with 25 boneless wings, 3 flavors, 2 dips, large fries (more than enough for 2 people), and 2-20 oz drinks. I ordered half Hawaiian and half Garlic Pepper. They estimated a 12 minute wait but the food was done in 7 minutes (Awesome!!!) My brother and I decided to dine in. The dining area was immaculate! There were 3 flat screens displaying different venues and they even offered to change it to anything we wanted to watch. The restrooms were SPOTLESS and smelled of nice air freshener. We got our food to go and it was ready very fast then again we were the only people there, seems a lot of people order online and pick up. We got the garlic parm, hawaiian, and Louisiana rub. The dipping sauces we picked was ranch (they have the best ranch dip around) the wings were good, the Louisiana were pretty spicy but still good. I called at 9:15 to place an order for pick-up. I was hung up on the first and second times I called. I called a third time and was greeted by someone with an absolutely NASTY attitude! They were very rough and cold toward me. I stated that I wanted to place an order for 50 wings. They cut me off and told me that they don't take orders over 15 pieces over the phone. That's fine. I drove 6 minutes to them to place my order in store. There were 2 people at the register. She responded saying that they don't take orders after 9:30 which confused me because everything states that they close for 11. I told her that I had just called a few minutes ago to order and no one told me that. She responded dryly "okay we close at 10." I guess I'm not understanding what that had to do with me because I've never heard of a business not taking orders 30 minutes but again, I dismissed it. Before walking out I asked for something that says that they close at 10. She said we don't have anything and they haven't changed it on Google yet but the hours changed because of COVID. Did it change in the past 4 months because I just came before 11 four months ago (my last review) and ordered 50 pieces of chicken. Naturally each batch is mostly similar, i have visited this store here several times during my visit and the food has tasted amazing each and every time. Kudos team! A spur of the moment stop. The setting seems very fast food and it is. But the food was very good. Wings were meaty and juicy and fresh. Sauces and rubs were very authentic and great tasting. French fries are cut fresh and taste superb minus a little too much salt. Customer service is very friendly and polite. They even try to clean up so you can enjoy the atmosphere. I might just be spoiled now. The Girly and I are on a restricted diet and today was our cheat day. After much back and forth, I mentioned wings and an idea was born. Now there is a little place a few blocks from the house that sells serviceable wings but they are closed on Sunday. There is another place on Whitney Ave but I did not have time to hire a dozen bodyguards to get in and out of the place. So after checking Yelp, and traffic, I decided on Wing Stop. For me, 8 piece with half parmesan and garlic and half atomic. The Girly got 8 parmesan and garlic, boneless. We each ordered fries, extra well done (Thinking that meant crispy...it does not). The website said the order would be done in 18 minutes and since I live 13 minutes away barring traffic, I headed out. Made it in good time (13 minutes) and my order had another 5 minutes to go. Exactly as they said. So I took a minute to look around the place, talk to the young lady at the counter and be a rude little Yelp snoop. My only complaint is I have no complaints. That place was spotless, well appointed, well laid out and welcoming. When my food was up, the young lady read everything back to me, item for item, and when I said it was ok, THEN and only then did she present a bill. Cool. Back home, we opened things up and it was all still hot and fresh. The fries seem to be hand cut and single fried so they will not be crispy. They were fine, but I do NOT like their fry seasoning. Nothing against the business as it's just a personal preference. I'm not a fan of sugar in my fries and there seems to be some in their fry seasoning. Like I said, just a preference thing and I take nothing from the business. P.S. Their fries are $1.99 extra and I wouldn't bother ordering 2 orders unless there are 4 people eating. They are not stingy about the fries. Now for the wings. If a wing is cooked well, the one with the double bone can be deboned by twisting them and pulling. These did that. While the lady at the counter was flawless, the skinny guy loading the bags wasn't so flawless. He gave us someone else's order.
