Wing Snack Express - 6 Wings Combo (Cajun Ranch Fries) - Fast Food Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

Nice wing spot food is cooked to order the turtle brownie is soooo good worth the money. I love the Cajun Ranch Fries goes well with the wings. Service is usually correct and they are not rude. The ambiance is set up for grab and go not a place you would want to have a date night. read more

Extremely slow so I suggest you call your order in. I wings in general are over priced so I don't have a comment on the prices. I'd rather patronize a local business before I do a chain establishment. Music seems to be a little loud you can barely hear when your name/number is being called. read more

The food is so good from the wings, the fries, even the punch.! I love every flavor I've tried

Don't waste your time ,believe me. Bad attitude, wings taste like crap. You "will" be disappointed.

It's my fav wing spot! Don't argue with me! LOL When I want wings, this is my go to. Even though my drive is about 20 mins, my food is always still hot when I make it back home My boyfriend and I are creatures of habit so this is all we ever order plus a Ghetto Punch and Pineapple Punch! The Pineapple is for me! It's sweet FYI! We never wait long - about 10-15 minutes. All orders are made fresh! read more

Wing Snack Express - 16.41 for this?!? You get more fries than ANYTHING! It was good but DAMN?!? That's too PRICEY - Fast Food Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

The food was not good at all. They did not care how they prepared it the wings looked like they had been recooked and they did a horrible job of adding the wing spices to it read more

Overpriced and the quality doesn't match. Spent $61 on a 10pc, 15pc all flats (the only option for two flavors), a small fry, two extra dipping sauces, and two ghetto punch. That's EXPENSIVE for two ppl! The lemon pepper were ok but the mild sauce was not good. I'm good on not going back. The price alone made that decision for me to have extremely mediocre wings. Oh and wing restaurants should invest in quality dipping sauces and not some you pour out of a jar. That cheap Bleu cheese is disgusting on those high wings!! The wings might taste a little better if they made their own and bought a quality sauce. It tasted like the Kraft Bleu cheese that you squeeze out of the pack....gross! read more

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I'm not always one for new spots but this one pleasantly surprised me. I stopped by out of curiosity and to see what the fuss was about. The building is in a strip mall, so there's ample parking. The parking lot was busy but very clean. The business itself was not hard to locate due to the art on the door and windows. The inside was clean as well and had lots of seating options. There's a bar stool area, regular tables, and also seats for pickup only orders. There are outlets near the leveled tables and the business also has free wifi (password protected) available for patrons. There's a restroom and two flat screens, for your viewing pleasure. The order process was simple and the cashier was readily available for any questions and was very quick with taking my order. I ordered 15 wings ($14.95), half mild and half sweat heat. The wings did not take too long and were very fresh. I feel in love with the crispness and meatiness of the wings. I dined in and enjoyed the cool a/c and the large flatscreen as I indulged. Every wing had the same consistency of greatness and they were seasoned to perfection. I noticed lots of customers, as I ate, but the service is so fast there was never any type of crowding going on. I recommend this place. I'm a foodie who loves wings and I give this place 10 stars read more

Who ever is the cashier on 02/10/2021 @12:pm on this day was horrible very rude act as if your getting on her nerves Walked up to get my order which was placed online and she had a nasty attitude asking me for multiple receipts as I look for them she was blowing ands king noises like I was bothering her It's just bad service sorry may not be back customer service is very important ding treat me like that when I'm spending my money read more

Cajun ranch fries make my world go round. This place is always dependable for good wings and other snacks. I always get the sweet heat wings and Cajun ranch fries so I can't tell you how anything else is. The service is not stellar but isn't terrible either. It's just an order and to place. The ghetto punch tastes like diabetes in a cup to me but I'm not big on things with a high level of sweetness in general. They have lots of wing flavors to try along with the fries (of course) and onion rings, crawfish balls, etc. read more

Wing Snack Express - Sweet heat wings & Cajun ranch fries - Fast Food Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

They'd make a lot more money if they'd lower the prices just a bit Love the one under the bridge but tbh it's chicken wings nothing warrants a $30 meal for wings, fries and a drink I'd go to New Orleans food and Spirits if i wanted to spend that on a single plate no shade. Legendary in the hood tho read more

Really tasty, the food is immaculate the prices have increased so keep that in mind! otherwise I love this place it's a Nola classic

I ordered 75 wings with 3 different flavors but only got 2. Talk about annoyed. Other than that, the wings are cool. The New House Ranch fries are pretty good as well. read more

The food is absolutely amazing paid one dollar for an extra ranch and they gave me 3 ranches, and the service was good and fast.!

Food is good, but the service is terrible. The cashier, whose name on the receipt is Keedy was extreme rude. Good food can only take you so far. The quality of service needs to match read more

Slow service with bad attitudes. 1. If you order online, don't. The food is never ready when you get there nor will it be ready in the "5" minutes they say you have left. 2. If you come in .do not ask them how long it's going to be for your wings so you can leave and come back. They'll lie and say 10. When other customers tell you it's more like 30-40 minutes the cashier will say 20 instead of the 10 they said before. 3. Tasted a few outer Fries that were lukewarm. Asked for fresh hot fries and was given an attitude. "We make the food to order" well I ordered half an hour ago so....& then the cashier told them to fix more and that took a few seconds if that. So not sure why there was an attitude because if they were truly made to order, there wouldn't have been fries already out nor people waiting around for their order if it only took a few seconds to cook the sides. Only came here because another black owned wing business was close and it's supposed to be black spending at black places today. I see why I haven't been here in over two years. Their prices are high compared to the value of food and service provi read more

They have "Ghetto Punch" (AKA Red Drank) what more can you ask? 17 flavors of wings, crab cakes, chicken tenders, fish strips and crawfish balls. Wing Snack Express - Fast Food Near Me - New Orleans, Louisiana

I like this location much better than the Claiborne Ave. location! Not even sure if it's the same company or even run by the same people though. I went to the Claiborne Ave location years ago because of all of they hype and people would swear by the Ghetto Punch. I tried it once, and the wings and fries were so salty, my pressure was through the roof for the day and I had trouble seeing straight. Seriously! Then, I swore never again would I ever go back there or recommend it to anyone. This week I tried the Algiers location, and I must say, it was good! I tried the Ro-Go wing combo with fries and the Ghetto Punch. I will still say, whatever you get, includes more calories, salt, and sugar for more than 1 serving! The ghetto punch was good! I also had the crab cake, which was a disappointment. For some reason I figured the crab cake would be a fresh hand or homemade crab cake, but I received what tastes like one of those frozen crab cakes that you can get from your grocery store. It has imitation crab meat, which was not good. Very disappointed in the crab cake, but now I know not to order it in the future. The cajun sauce that came with it, was also bad, it tasted like BBQ sauce and mayo. I'll just stick with the wings and fries and punches. Because they have a variety of signature sauces and flavors, I would appreciated a description if not ingredient list of what's included in their flavors. Although I had Ro-Go, I had no idea what was in it, or how to describe the flavor to anyone. read more

After hearing about their wings from my mom for quite a while, I was able to finally try this place when we came a little later on a Friday night. Got to love a wing place with about 10 tables and bulletproof glass you have to order through. All transactions go through a box on the window where both sides can't be open at the same time. Somehow, these are the kind of places that have some of the best food. And Wing Snack Express definitely falls in that category. I read through some of the reviews that said the service was rude. But the lady that took our order was as nice and helpful as could be. So no complaints there. I ordered the roasted garlic wings and split an order of ranch fries. The fries were definitely cooked from frozen... but still had a great flavor. The wings were really good. Up there with some of the best I have had. Unfortunately, they did forget to put some of the sauce in that someone in our group ordered with plain wings. And that apparently is not the 1st or 2nd time that has happened. We will know to double check in the future. A quick offer on our way out to earn $20 to give a guy a ride home, and my first experience was complete. read more

I only visit here because my friend always rather order food from here. I had a bad experience with the owner. She is very unprofessional and she does not conduct herself well enough to say she is a business owner but I guess they saying is right; you can't take the hood out of ANYONE! It was a mistake on their part and all she could offer me was 10% off which is not worth it being that the food is pricey. I assume they have changed distributors but the taste is not the same and trust me it is not worth paying for. That is why I only stop by when someone else is paying. My review would be different but being that I've been in management over 14 years; I know how to conduct myself and handle situations to where my customers would not feel the need to have to bring their issues via internet. The punch is diabetic sweet, the fries are dry, the crab cakes taste very imitation like. The wings are mediocre due to the changes in flavor and again, the prices are beyond ridiculous for wings! Wings are supposed to be inexpensive especially from a place like this. read more

Fast, fresh and friendly service. I would definitely recommend going here for wings. There is plenty seating. I got there when they just opened which is why they look empty. Lots of flavors for wings and they have a few other things on the menu that also looks good. I'll be back to try some more. read more

I purchased wings and fries and waited in the car for the order to be ready. After twenty minutes I went in to pick up the food and provide my receipt with the ticket number and the lady at the window said, " Oh I gave that away." She stated, " I will just give you extra wings." After waiting thirty minutes for my food, Of course, there wasn't any extra wings, nor an apology for the mishap. Customer service is definitely lacking. read more

Milk and hot wings are good but I LOVE their Cajun ranch fries. I always stop here just for the fries, they are rollin!

I really wanted to like this place because of all the hype, the customer service is rude as hell and very confrontational for no good reason. I was just trying to simple ask question about the sauces and flavors. So I was like ok cool the food should be great with all the negativity they have going on. Nope not them my first order of food had hair wrapped in the fries and on the second there was hair in the side of the fries. I took it back only to be talk to rudely like it was my fault and I was wrong ok cool just make the food. Got the second order and hair again but in the chicken wings. Long story short I won't be back or tell others about this place a waste of 35 bucks and a drive. read more

I don't understand why they have a 3.0 their food is so freaking good!!! I just moved to New Orleans and I'm back to back for the Cajun fries so yummy!! I can just eat them everyday and that damn pineapple lemonade is addictive and gone give ya diabetes read more

The cashier is soo freaking rude and mean!!! Why is she so mean and miserable?? Some Men will dismiss her rudeness but not all, I saw this first hand when I picked up my food. Her rude attitude will keep potential costumers from becoming loyal costumers. You are better off going to McDonald's to buy their boneless chicken wings. read more

Too expensive and Rude Employees. The quality of the food is inconsistent. One day the Wings will be big and another day they'll be half the size but you'll still pay the same price. You have to tell them to fry the Wings "Hard" just to get them to cook it all the way through!. They even charge you 50 cents just to use your debit/credit card. When they first opened they had a 10 wing, small fry and drink 9.99 special. They no longer offer that. They actually replaced it with the 6 Wing, small fry and drink combo for 9.99. Now that 6 Wing special is 11.99. So basically the price of everything has gone up and up and up while the quality has gone down diddy down diddy down down like that Marian Hill Song. While the Same rude crappy customer service has stayed the same. Eat here at your own risk. read more

I should've known better getting tenders from a wing joint but I don't eat chicken with bones yeah yeah I know & yes I'm black lol so anywho the Cajun ranch fries were everything & the peach tea was sweet as molasses so not all bad! The food is great, but you have to understand what you're in for. You have to order through a speaker from behind bulletproof glass, which apparently can be scary if you're not ready for it. Also, don't expect the cashier to ask about your day. But if you want wings, this is the place. If you go here and don't try the New House Ranch fries you will be cheating yourself, they are amazing! Put on your big boy (or girl) pants and go get some delicious food! read more

I've eaten a lot of wings over the years from a lot of different places. These guys have really good wings, they let you mix the flavors up too since I like a Hot and Spicy Garlic Parmesan I order them like that and sure enough that's how they come out. Their drink selection is pretty good, although a little pricey, but since I don't eat there that often it's worth getting a gallon of the ghetto punch or my favorite the Pineapple Lemonade. The fries could be better, I think the trip home causes them to soak up the sauce too much so they aren't as crisp as I'd like. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Don't be afraid of the shatter resistant glass. read more
