Overpriced and the quality doesn't match. Spent $61 on a 10pc, 15pc all flats (the only option for two flavors), a small fry, two extra dipping sauces, and two ghetto punch. That's EXPENSIVE for two ppl! The lemon pepper were ok but the mild sauce was not good. I'm good on not going back. The price alone made that decision for me to have extremely mediocre wings. Oh and wing restaurants should invest in quality dipping sauces and not some you pour out of a jar. That cheap Bleu cheese is disgusting on those high wings!! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I'm not always one for new spots but this one pleasantly surprised me. I stopped by out of curiosity and to see what the fuss was about. The building is in a strip mall, so there's ample parking. The parking lot was busy but very clean. The business itself was not hard to locate due to the art on the door and windows. The inside was clean as well and had lots of seating options. There's a bar stool area, regular tables, and also seats for pickup only orders. There are outlets near the leveled tables and the business also has free wifi (password protected) available for patrons. There's a restroom and two flat screens, for your viewing pleasure. The order process was simple and the cashier was readily available for any questions and was very quick with taking my order. I ordered 15 wings ($14.95), half mild and half sweat heat. The wings did not take too long and were very fresh. I feel in love with the crispness and meatiness of the wings. I dined in and enjoyed the cool a/c and the large flatscreen as I indulged. Every wing had the same consistency of greatness and they were seasoned to perfection. I noticed lots of customers, as I ate, but the service is so fast there was never any type of crowding going on. Cajun ranch fries make my world go round. This place is always dependable for good wings and other snacks. I always get the sweet heat wings and Cajun ranch fries so I can't tell you how anything else is. The service is not stellar but isn't terrible either. It's just an order and to place. The ghetto punch tastes like diabetes in a cup to me but I'm not big on things with a high level of sweetness in general. Slow service with bad attitudes. 1. If you order online, don't. The food is never ready when you get there nor will it be ready in the "5" minutes they say you have left. 2. I went to the Claiborne Ave location years ago because of all of they hype and people would swear by the Ghetto Punch. I also had the crab cake, which was a disappointment. After hearing about their wings from my mom for quite a while, I was able to finally try this place when we came a little later on a Friday night. Got to love a wing place with about 10 tables and bulletproof glass you have to order through. All transactions go through a box on the window where both sides can't be open at the same time. Somehow, these are the kind of places that have some of the best food. And Wing Snack Express definitely falls in that category. I read through some of the reviews that said the service was rude. But the lady that took our order was as nice and helpful as could be. So no complaints there. I ordered the roasted garlic wings and split an order of ranch fries. The fries were definitely cooked from frozen... but still had a great flavor. The wings were really good. Up there with some of the best I have had. Unfortunately, they did forget to put some of the sauce in that someone in our group ordered with plain wings. And that apparently is not the 1st or 2nd time that has happened. I only visit here because my friend always rather order food from here. I had a bad experience with the owner. She is very unprofessional and she does not conduct herself well enough to say she is a business owner but I guess they saying is right; you can't take the hood out of ANYONE! It was a mistake on their part and all she could offer me was 10% off which is not worth it being that the food is pricey. I assume they have changed distributors but the taste is not the same and trust me it is not worth paying for. That is why I only stop by when someone else is paying. My review would be different but being that I've been in management over 14 years; I know how to conduct myself and handle situations to where my customers would not feel the need to have to bring their issues via internet. After twenty minutes I went in to pick up the food and provide my receipt with the ticket number and the lady at the window said, " Oh I gave that away." You have to tell them to fry the Wings "Hard" just to get them to cook it all the way through!. They even charge you 50 cents just to use your debit/credit card. When they first opened they had a 10 wing, small fry and drink 9.99 special. They no longer offer that. They actually replaced it with the 6 Wing, small fry and drink combo for 9.99. I've eaten a lot of wings over the years from a lot of different places. These guys have really good wings, they let you mix the flavors up too since I like a Hot and Spicy Garlic Parmesan I order them like that and sure enough that's how they come out. Their drink selection is pretty good, although a little pricey, but since I don't eat there that often it's worth getting a gallon of the ghetto punch or my favorite the Pineapple Lemonade. The fries could be better, I think the trip home causes them to soak up the sauce too much so they aren't as crisp as I'd like. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
